Im in the middle of installing on my rsx, but the left side shifter cable doesn't reach the hole made on the short shifter for it? I can't get the cable to extend so I'm not sure what to do
1) align left shifter cable first 2) then align the shifter box into place for the 4 screws, might need a second person to help you put it in place cuz it’s a tight fit
my left side shifter cable doesnt move forward enough to be put into place with the counterclockwise movement, i don't know what to do.. it's stuck somehow and doesnt want to budge at all, i need help please
@@Gsandwiches This does not work with the K20Z3 trans unless you change the cable bracket and gear selector. A better choice would be our TSX shifter and conversion shifter cables for the Z3 trans.
Just installed mine and its butttterrrrr 👍 one of the best shifters out there

My oem cables won’t reach but if I place them in where they go then it won’t screw in the holes they go
I wish the mount for the left cable was farther forward for easier install cuz this thing does not want to work for me

Don’t screw in the base first put the cables in first then screw the base down. Learned the hard way lol

Running into the same problem. With the left cable in the the shifter frame the the shifter is almost an inch away from being able to mount.

I can't get my console to pop up even though I undid the screws, you said pop it up from the front then lift from the back but I can't get it to work

Can a rsx base use it?
Yes it works on all 02-06 DC5s with a manual transmission, as well as all 01-05 Civics using the manual transmission.
