The song is a perfect representation of a sympathetic but violent bio weapon, I’ve never watched Guyver, but this song gives me the idea that the Guyver is in near constant pain, a beast that wouldn’t be out of place as a sentai or kamen rider villain, something not to be looked up too but silently respected for their sacrifice of everything.

Infuriated Dragon yeah that still pisses me off, and if you watch the DVD special features they go on and on about how the Guyver was super important to them. And the anime just gets left at such an important part
They were only able to produce so many episodes, and they were quite faithful to the manga this time around, so where they left off was actually a very intelligent spot to do so. After that, a whole new arc kicks off in the story, so did you really want them to tease that, THEN end the show? Not bloody likely. At least you got to see the payoff of Gigantic, and what it could do. It would be quite amazing if they ever did animate more of the manga, but this has been such a troubled manga/show in general, I doubt it will ever happen. Most of this can be blamed on the author, he has just been terrible with doing the manga and continuing it on, that interest in it has waned greatly even in Japan. And animes success is based on how well merchandise from the show sells. Without interest in the overall franchise, well...
I love guyver. Sometimes i dream i become a guyver User. To fly, to self-regenrate and All the other Features a top Tier, in my opinion. And the Look of guyver is absolutely awesome. Only sad that Murakami died in the anime. He was my favourite character.
When I first watched this opening, I pretty much got hooked to the show immediately. Only idiots call this song bad. Also, this show is way better than the OVA.

That's why the anime didn't last long and same with the manga which is a shame because I really do enjoy it and wanted to see how it ends 😔
