these (video 1 of 2 and video 2 of 2) are GREAT and very timely as I just received the yarn in the mail today. I'm a beginner crocheter and you explained things very well. THANKS!
Loved the tutorial and found it easy to follow. Thank you Robin and thank you stitchinstacy. Can you do a video showing the joining process please, please, please. I know its join as you go, but as a novice i am not sure how exactly to do this.
Dear stitchinstacy, thank you so much for taking the time and be so detailed. I would have never been able to follow the pattern. It is my first crochetting ever and I am adoring it!
This pattern is great, I always decorate my home and bathroom with fall docor, and was looking for something different to decorate my bathroom window, this will be perfect. Thank you for you video.
Thank You, thank you, thank you. I reviewed the instructions, they seemed simple enough, but upon reviewing your video, I know it won't be hard to make. Again, I thank you and I will pass this on to other's who want to make the "Flower Power Valance".
Thank you for making this video. I'm a beginner, so reading patterns, are very difficult for me. But after watching your video I'm confident that I can Make these now. Thank you
Thank you so mucho for sharing and making this video I will make some flowers, once I finished I will take some pics. Also thnanks to ms Robin Sanchez for this lovely pattern.
I love the flowers but noticed that when using 4 worse weight yarn, the last row curled too much. Instead of 8 DC in the rings I did 4 and also used for the project a 4.0 crochet hook. Now the flower lays flat. Maybe this helps others.
I really like the tutorial of this flower, thanks for sharing it with us. please be so kind and make another video showing how to make the half flower.
Thank you very much for making and posting this video! Am just learning how to read patterns and videos are always helpful. Thank you Robin for your beautiful pattern. Ya'll are awesome :-)
I have been a basic crochet hobbiest for years. I am attempting to branch out and complete this design. BUT I am having a hard time finding the right method to join the flowers. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Can you do a video showing how you joined the flowers together please. I've viewed the join as you go method on youtube but everyone does it differently. Please help! Love this pattern and your tutorials are very easy to follow. Thank you!
Anita Whittico Im sorry,, i cannot..this is a paid pattern..I purchased through "Simply Crochet" magazine..you will have to make that purchase as i did to get the pattern.
I have my 23 full flowers n my half flowers but how do we crochet the loops for the rod?????? And I don’t understand the join as you go for this project! Do you go around entire flower as you go or just jump from petal to petal with a slst. Or sc.??? SOS
It seems to me that Robin Sanchez blog says to join flower as you make them, but you said she would show how to assemble……so I made the flowers, is there a way to join them if they are already crocheted?
I love the flowers, I would like to crochet a blanket and a matching valance for my daughter's room...the question is...How do you join the flowers? Thanks for the video! :)
I know how to join the flowers together if they are all the same matching color, but how is it done since all of the flowers have different colors joining ?? Also can not find how to make the 1/2 flower, I am ending up with the last color of my stitches on the back side. ? Please explain . :) Thank You :)
Yvonne Batterson You will need to go to her link provided for the "Joining Process", this was not a tutorial for that..this is only how to make the motif..the joining was only 1 simple stitch and she has a picture diagram to explain that so please follow the link to her site to view that..as for the half flower..its in the same playlist as this video...if you cannot find it..Use the SEARCH and type in MOTIFS it will come right up:)
hi am lisa am making the valance and i would like to now how much flowers to make to make up the valance can u help me please thanks whole ones and halfs
+Lisa Emmanuel I have no idea...that depends on what you are making it for, the size you are making them, yarn you are using, hook size and size of window or whatever you are putting this over...i would have no way to answer this...you will just have to figure this out based on all of this info...
Roxana, ella uso lana para el suyo (el de la derecha, en turquesa y verde) pero uso hilos de algodon para el modelo que tejio, respetando las indicaciones de Robin Sanchez quien disenio el patron original. Suerte!
Anna Kennedy I posted this answer several times below...go to the link to the designers site..she has those directions there...this isnt how to assemble the motifs..this a video on how to make them
