In the Noelle's stories we can find why Jean doesn't think that Noelle is ready to be a knight. Once upon a time, Noelle left Mondstat to recover a lost man. She found him, but she remained without supplies. So, Noelle come back to Mondstat very debilitated and she needed three days to recover. Noelle is a very tank, but she don't care about herself, and you can't defend other if you doesn't defend yourself; Jean wants that Noelle understand that she can't ignore her need. Dangers are not only monster, but also climatic condition, enviromental peril, ecc... Jean fear that Noelle, in her sense of duty, kills herself.

There's a serious disconnect between how others describe Noelle and her combat skills and maturity level. She can't be much younger than Amber, is one of a small handful of Knights to possess a Vision, is more than capable of dishing out punishment with a claymore, and is levelheaded and dutiful. No one comments on this or really explains why exactly she's not ready when the best explanation is that she's as young and naive as Amber is. It's an elephant in the room and can only really be justified by the idea that they don't want to lose the maid that is responsible for completing so much of the maintenance duties that other Knights aren't willing to do. If they were to appoint a handful of new employees to to replace her there's not really any doubt she would be a well-respected fighter.
Its strange. Its said she has superhuman strength, that she needed a complete custom claymore for her to use due to others breaking easily when she used it. Tosses those big carts you see broken around like they were nothing and apparently someone made her angry once and was said it was not pretty. Yet, her kindness and niceness is overwhelming, even making someone who wanted to destroy.. I think the wine industry to leave, because her kindness was way too much.
The only excuse I can come up with for why Noelle is not a knight is her fighting style. She swings the claymore like it's a club, she doesn't try to use the sharp edge to cut the enemy, it's more like she's beating them with a giant hunk of metal. She's insanely strong and does not understand how to use a claymore so she keeps breaking them. Maybe Jean tries to get her Combat ready by teaching her how to properly use claymores without breaking them, so she won't feel guilty if Noelle breaks her own weapon mid fight and is left defenceless. Or maybe the actual Leader of the Knights of Favonious is on an expedition far away and Jean doesn't trust herself with giving Noelle a promotion.

No the explanation is the Knights of Favonius are nothing but a bunch of clowns. For anyone who wants to know, the actual reason Noelle hasn't been made a knight is because even as a nonknight she once heard an adventurer was trapped on Dragonspire and so she went to rescue them by herself even though there was a terrible snowstorm that day and searched Dragonspire to find the adventurer and found them in a cave suffering from hypothermia by which time Noelle's coat was soaked and water had frozen in the bottle and while still thirsty and hungry, Noelle carried the adventurer down on her back and successfully rescued the adventurer and after this Noelle was bedridden with a high fever for 3 days straight and apparently that wasn't the 1st or even 2nd time she did something like this and so Jean came up with a bunch of safe jobs to keep Noelle from risking her life again by keeping her busy in the city with Kaeya being backup if needed in cases like the Stormterror threat during which Noelle was ready to just beat Duvalin on her own and so Kaeya had to set up "urgent matters" to keep Noelle busy in the city So in summary, Noelle isn't made a knight because all the knights are worried of what she might attempt in order to help people and with little regard as to how it will harm herself like take on a mother fluffing dragon on her own, mono a mono without the aid of Venti(a litteral god even if at his weakest) like we had

People need to read Noelle’s character stories before they even try and say that Noelle should be a knight. It’s a bit disrespectful to Jean’s character to just say that she should be a knight because she is strong. Jean has very good reasons for not letting Noelle be a knight. If you want a summary let me simply say this: Strength means nothing, if you can’t come back alive Edit: If I hear someone bring up her defense and healing again, please just don't. Noelle's healing and the shield does NOTHING against illness and other effects like sheer cold and heatstroke which can happen if she will go out working nonstop. Come up with a better argument if you want to believe she has a place in the Knights I beg you, I will actually listen to it. I actually main Noelle alongside Xiao on one of my accounts so I know how long she can survive
True, Noelle is a tryhard. She'll stop at nothing to complete her tasks or to help others, in a way, she's even more reckless than Bennett. She'll end up dead if she doesn't fix this, she needs to learn when to stop and that she can't help others while needing help herself. Were she living in modern times, she would be like a person from a poor family that still sends most of her money to charity while struggling to put food on the table
Yixo Phoenix shields and defense doesn’t stop illness from happening from overworking and with how she is, she will keep working and working until illness claims her
Since Jean is the Dandelion Knight, they should make Noelle the Maid Knight. If they give her that title, she’ll probably still stick around for some maid duties, but since she goes out with the traveler on journeys and stuff, they might as well make her a knight.
Imagine an event where Noelle becomes a knight and we get a new( ish) playable character, Noelle, Knight of favonius; a 5-star healer. That would be so sick
Remember this is 15 year old girl who wields a claymore as effortlessly as a butterknife and scaled dragonspine in search for a man for days during one of the worst recorded snowstorms while being wet and proceeded to find said man and then carry said man down the mountain on her back only allowing herself to pass out when they were in the company of people.........yeah Noelle is built different.
After reading her daily routine I finally realized. Just like Saitama is only a C rank hero so it's Noelle only a knight in training, both very OP characters being underestimated.

The reason Jean hasn't made Noelle a knight yet is because she knows that Noelle is selfless to the point of working herself nearly to death to helps others and is waiting for her to figure out that a good knight needs to know how to take care of themselves so they can always be ready for action.
She's the 5th character I've exclusively raised, and will be one of the first ones I get to lv90... Noelle deserves more attention, and not just in-game too cause a lot of the community views her as weak, especially at C0 (when all you need to do is just raise her def like her kit implies....)
Noelle is the best character🤚 shes the strongest character ive got, and the shield definitely helps, man shes stronger then all of my other characters i got, probably wouldn’t of been able to defeat alot of things without her
noelle isnt a good dps like razor, but she still dishes out a full course meal of kickass, and her defense is beyond useful, furthermore when paired with her shield AND shes geo so if you can get that elemental shield its even MORE defense. Also, now that she can heal, she earned her place on my main team. She's incredibly useful for the aftereffect of xiao's ultimate and in keeping him alive during it.
I have her paired with Hu Tao on my main team, which works amazingly because her shield can keep Hu Tao in a low health state for quite a while to increase her damage, and if it gets too dicey, I can switch back to Noelle and let her heal Hu Tao back up.
Jean, I love you and all but Noelle can carry your thicc Dandelion Ass with one arm and fight a Ruin Guard with her other arm using a two handed Claymore like its Tuesday Like seriously, she was able to carry and move a god damn bookshelf with ONE HAND and not let a single book drop from it, the very one that the Knight of Favonious has and Lisa watched!
See Jean can see that Noelle isn’t emotionally ready. She wants to help everyone but in this wish, she neglects herself. Her character stories mention how she went into Dragonspine on how own you save a man that the Knights were making a calculated plan to save and while she came back, she was very sick and very well could’ve died. Jean isn’t stopping her cause she’s physically too weak, she’s stopping her before she gets herself killed in action
@@agatha6999 I would take that argument have I not played Jean's story quest, she herself is as reckless as Noelle is when it comes down to it and she probably knew that. While you can argue that's why she doesn't want her to be a Knight yet because she knows that recklessness personally, it's still not a good excuse of denying her from getting into the ranks of the Favonious while most Knights that are less competent and willing gets in, Jean could literally just scold her afterwards and she'll probably will try and not do it again if the circumstances aren't bad enough because that's how she is.
Knightmare No.49 no actually they couldn’t just scold her. I highly doubt Noelle hasn’t been scolded for her reckless acts. Another thing to keep in mind is that while we have minors confirmed to be in the Knights of Favonius, we see that they are under Jean’s care or had connections (Klee is under Jean and Albedo’s care and Amber’s grandmother I think was an outrider before). Since they are minors, it can be assumed that any harm that befalls them will be legally the Knights of Favonius’ fault so that’s why Noelle can’t join because if she dies it’s their fault that they let a minor join. If an adult like the useless knights get harmed or possibly die, the Knights could be faulted but it will ultimately be that the Knight got reckless and was an adult and knew full well the consequences. Noelle is a stubborn teenager who refuses to stop working until actually dying and can only be stopped from dangerous tasks with being given safer tasks, she will not stop until she has helped everyone or is crippled at least. It’s a complicated matter but Jean knows the severe risks and consequences to letting Noelle join

If Noelle knew the reason, I'm sure she would take it to heart and try to change that about herself. Jean isn't even giving her a chance if she won't tell her why.

For anyone who wants to know, the actual reason Noelle hasn't been made a knight is because even as a nonknight she once heard an adventurer was trapped on Dragonspire and so she went to rescue them by herself even though there was a terrible snowstorm that day and searched Dragonspire to find the adventurer and found them in a cave suffering from hypothermia by which time Noelle's coat was soaked and water had frozen in the bottle and while still thirsty and hungry, Noelle carried the adventurer down on her back and successfully rescued the adventurer and after this Noelle was bedridden with a high fever for 3 days straight and apparently that wasn't the 1st or even 2nd time she did something like this and so Jean came up with a bunch of safe jobs to keep Noelle from risking her life again by keeping her busy in the city with Kaeya being backup if needed in cases like the Stormterror threat during which Noelle was ready to just beat Duvalin on her own and so Kaeya had to set up "urgent matters" to keep Noelle busy in the city
So in summary, Noelle isn't made a knight because all the knights are worried of what she might attempt in order to help people and with little regard as to how it will harm herself like take on a mother fluffing dragon on her own, mono a mono without the aid of Venti(a litteral god even if at his weakest) like we had

People need to read Noelle’s character stories before they even try and say that Noelle should be a knight. It’s a bit disrespectful to Jean’s character to just say that she should be a knight because she is strong. Jean has very good reasons for not letting Noelle be a knight. If you want a summary let me simply say this: Strength means nothing, if you can’t come back alive
Edit: If I hear someone bring up her defense and healing again, please just don't. Noelle's healing and the shield does NOTHING against illness and other effects like sheer cold and heatstroke which can happen if she will go out working nonstop. Come up with a better argument if you want to believe she has a place in the Knights I beg you, I will actually listen to it. I actually main Noelle alongside Xiao on one of my accounts so I know how long she can survive
True, Noelle is a tryhard. She'll stop at nothing to complete her tasks or to help others, in a way, she's even more reckless than Bennett. She'll end up dead if she doesn't fix this, she needs to learn when to stop and that she can't help others while needing help herself. Were she living in modern times, she would be like a person from a poor family that still sends most of her money to charity while struggling to put food on the table

The reason Jean hasn't made Noelle a knight yet is because she knows that Noelle is selfless to the point of working herself nearly to death to helps others and is waiting for her to figure out that a good knight needs to know how to take care of themselves so they can always be ready for action.
Knights of Favonius : Noelle is..pleasant and hardworking but not ready yet.

noelle isnt a good dps like razor, but she still dishes out a full course meal of kickass, and her defense is beyond useful, furthermore when paired with her shield AND shes geo so if you can get that elemental shield its even MORE defense. Also, now that she can heal, she earned her place on my main team. She's incredibly useful for the aftereffect of xiao's ultimate and in keeping him alive during it.
I have her paired with Hu Tao on my main team, which works amazingly because her shield can keep Hu Tao in a low health state for quite a while to increase her damage, and if it gets too dicey, I can switch back to Noelle and let her heal Hu Tao back up.

See Jean can see that Noelle isn’t emotionally ready. She wants to help everyone but in this wish, she neglects herself. Her character stories mention how she went into Dragonspine on how own you save a man that the Knights were making a calculated plan to save and while she came back, she was very sick and very well could’ve died. Jean isn’t stopping her cause she’s physically too weak, she’s stopping her before she gets herself killed in action

@@agatha6999 I would take that argument have I not played Jean's story quest, she herself is as reckless as Noelle is when it comes down to it and she probably knew that. While you can argue that's why she doesn't want her to be a Knight yet because she knows that recklessness personally, it's still not a good excuse of denying her from getting into the ranks of the Favonious while most Knights that are less competent and willing gets in, Jean could literally just scold her afterwards and she'll probably will try and not do it again if the circumstances aren't bad enough because that's how she is.
Knightmare No.49 no actually they couldn’t just scold her. I highly doubt Noelle hasn’t been scolded for her reckless acts. Another thing to keep in mind is that while we have minors confirmed to be in the Knights of Favonius, we see that they are under Jean’s care or had connections (Klee is under Jean and Albedo’s care and Amber’s grandmother I think was an outrider before). Since they are minors, it can be assumed that any harm that befalls them will be legally the Knights of Favonius’ fault so that’s why Noelle can’t join because if she dies it’s their fault that they let a minor join. If an adult like the useless knights get harmed or possibly die, the Knights could be faulted but it will ultimately be that the Knight got reckless and was an adult and knew full well the consequences. Noelle is a stubborn teenager who refuses to stop working until actually dying and can only be stopped from dangerous tasks with being given safer tasks, she will not stop until she has helped everyone or is crippled at least. It’s a complicated matter but Jean knows the severe risks and consequences to letting Noelle join

If Noelle knew the reason, I'm sure she would take it to heart and try to change that about herself. Jean isn't even giving her a chance if she won't tell her why.
