​@@sharavchennai KALYANji-ANANDji copied "Ilaya Nila" song from this Maestro Ilayaraja's song (1982) for their "Neele neele ambar" in Kalakar (1983). They COPIED it FIRST; it became an issue. SPB intervened & asked them to change the charanam (antara). They did reluctantly. So, in return, Kasme vaade was given to IR who used it Kasme vaade for KANAVU Kaanum vaazhkai (1984). But unlike the duo, IR did NOT mess the song; he just left it as is!

You ought to check out the song "Neele neele ambar par" from the Hindi movie KALAKAR. It was Kalyanji-Anandji duo who used ILAYA NILA song of IR, for which this song was given in return. There is NO need for a prolific composer like IR to "lift" just 1 song, who has completed 1000+ movies, 5000+ songs and other Non-film compositions, in an illustrious and peerless career spanning 44+ years (and still composing). THINK twice before you spill your false opinion in the name of fact.

This album is FANTASTIC, multi-faceted and more importantly, TIMELESS even without that song. Since Ilaya Nila was used by them, the score gets even. So, I will NOT whine about why IR used it or was made to use it by Balu Mahendra.
