Always wanted the Rock. There was a sweet spot a few years back where the exchange rate and the postage was so in our favour I almost bought one....then they went up in price....opportunity missed.
Thanks for the video, its an interesting design and doesnt look too heavy, very practical jack-of-all trades knife. I think i'd still prefer my Becker BK4, its heavier at about 440g but cheaper and 1095 is boss
Northern Territory Bushcraft yeah 1095 is just about perfect for this kinda stuff. Can sharpen in on a coffee cup and wont chip out, especially the good heat treated stuff! VG10 can chip if you slip and hit the dirt
It looks like someone broke its nose... If knives had faces I mean. I'm ok with interesting pieces however. Id rather have an ugly work machine than a beautiful China doll.
Useless knife. Small handle, recurve blade, too light for a chopper, too short for machete, terrible slicer, and straight up ugly. Cheap looking plastic handle. There are so many higher performing more useful USA made knives in that price range. Just an expensive oddity only useful for yard work. A cheap ESEE 6 is more useful than this goofy blade. Sometimes I think the Aussies are a little dizzy....sorry.
I think it was combat, not practical. When I examined it, it was not affected. I did everything strong until it broke, but it was steadfast and strong. Most likely, after testing it, its strength and agility, it was first-class combat, and the reason it was strong and light.
I like the way it looks.
BTW - What is the point of a short light weight Kukri?

They shouldve named it the Spyderco Toucan
Anyone selling one?
that's absolutely awesome!
"It's f***ing ugly!" I did not see that coming, and nearly choked on my coffee.
Spyderco fixed blades just seem a little too expensive for what you get. And I was thinking the same thing, it does look like kevin from Up lol
It's fucking ugly. Best line of the review ,thanks for the post friend

Bought mine for 150
That is H1 steel, not VG10
Sandy Lloyd, Jr. Definitely vg10. says so on the tang. The H1 version is the Rock Salt 👍🏻
Yep Vg10, the h1 is orange handle. I have both.

This is a fighting knife Makhaira style and it's super good for that
