Yeah :D I watched you farming Knoxx after i posted the comment, searched around a bit more about Brick, and I rolled one. Hes lvl 16ish atm, hes alot easier then Siren is at early levels, shes so ammo dependant. Thanks man, without your videos i wouldn't of had rolled the BAWS Brick that i have :)
just a quick question why did you go with pay-back and not unbreakable? i mean your elemental damage does enough by itself let alone needing any more of it.. just always thought unbreakable gives you the extra couple of seconds before your health starts to get touched.. ??
i like your style brother.. it's good to see another brawler.. and get the secret army version as well plus the moxxi one and i can't remember but it's another 8 more skill point on top.. that should help you out on maxing juggernaut and bash.. plus lernt a big mistake in putting skill point into pay-back and unbreakable..
Hey man. Loved these guides and the other stuff you uploaded on your channel. I've been coming back to these as a basis for spec'ing my Brick and have had a blast so far. That is, until I hit playthrough 2.5 last night. I am now a level 54 Berserker/Tank Brick and I get raped by pretty much everything. Badasses are generally at level 57 and despite having decent gear and good knowledge of the game, I am powerless against them (SpiderAnt Badasses are all but fucking invincible).
@spunky117 soo.. are you saying that basically building up proficiency even on the long run wont be as good as the other benefits you get from using bricks melee? lol i kno this is all situational probably
@spunky117 Thanks for your reply. ended up resetting my skill points and spec as Blast Master. Within 2 minutes of doing so the game probably decided it had been too rough on me and allowed me to come across a bitchin' Blast Hammer, Blast Thanatos and Cobalt Blast Revolver (This from a pile of rubble, a locker and a vending machine). The game is fun again, now. In my opinion, unless and until you hit the level cap then Melee Brick is a bitch to play efectively. I might come back to him later.
so i thought i would try my own melee class and i'm level 40 and i maxed out the left tree except for prize fighter and then i equipped an explosive artifact and maxed out endowed what do you think of this build. and yes i know i'm going to need hardened and safeguard and probably die hard that's what my points will go to when i level up
@spunky117 Does melee build any proficiency like using weapons do, cuz it would seem inefficient on the long run to melee if it doesnt build u up in some way
How do you get into Berserker mode so often? I have a level 69 Brick and I was playing a Melee Build and have the skill that make your cooldown rate faster fully stacked. But it is not nearly as quick as in this vid?
Die hard gives a 50% cool down rate when you go down and get back up, also he might be using a different com when went to old haven, with 4 points in Short fuse making his cool down almost a full cool down decrease, like a 10 second cool down, more or less
My first character is a 50 Soldier and I wanted to lvl one of each, second was brick, he's not 50 but I just hit playthrough 2, I decided i'd level him as a blaster/tank but seeing this video I'll have to look into brawler for the final few lvls.
Does this still work when your are on the same level as your enemies? You seem to be at level 60, while the enemies seem to be around 50. 10 levels below you.
@spunky117 no its only harder if you not good with a controller, i'm not starting a console war, just saying for me fps games are easier on a controller, its like using a mouse that your thumb controls, i say this because when i play as brick i set the sensitivity to max so turning from one target to the next is fast and easy, almost like a mouse
I CANT make myself go down, I have the shield rose rose (its a modded shield I got from online, someone gave my two actually, one for my Roland and one for my Lilith, which I gave to brick) and the amount of shield it has, it has like 2 million, but it recharges so fast it doesn't say recharge rate, no it says delay
i was wondering, is brick capable of handling 4 player difficulty solo? i.e. fighting (regarding this lvl 50 vid) in old haven while using the 4player difficulty hack (can be found in the siren's anarchy old haven run) that tricks the system into thinking that you are playing a game with 4 players on it therefore increasing its difficulty ive seen the sirens ver and did it myself in knoxx and anarchy is just overpowered but can brick do the same? o and this is not restricted to 50, 61 is ok too
i guess in another point of view when your in close range and your shield is gone you would prefere the extra strength due to killing the enemies quicker and the quicker you kill them the more health you get.. (plus the quicker you kill them the quicker heavy handed and jugg work) i feels like an idiot now..
@killingyoukindly That's what I wanna know. Maybe someone said it in an earlier comment but I don't feel like looking. >.> I didn't start using the shot guns until I was level 43. Stupid me.
Do you have any tips on how to make the game more enjoyable again? Honestly, I fucking hate all the modding going on. Every game I host now some prick-bag comes along and one shots the destroyer or Crawmerax. BUT if this is how fucking hard the rest of the game is going to be, then, oddly, I sort of get it. It's no longer enjoyable: just frustrating. I have a level 69 Hunter with which I went through the same experience but not nearly as frustrating. Brick just seems unusable right now.
@spunky117 the aim assist isn't helpful at all, to me its annoying cause when their are a group of enemies moving its hard to keep the cross hair on a single target, its gotten me killed many times and its better without it, on the xbox, idk about the ps3 i only have and xbox and a cheap gaming pc, even with the settings on low the high frame rate i can play borderlands is like 15-25 fps
This inspired me to make a Brick Character, and powerlevel him up then go punch the sh*t out of everything. Or better yet... just punch things in general :3
This is how my brick is, though I use Juggernaut instead of diehard. And I use the explosive artifact because punching things so fucking hard the explode is NEVER, EVER not entertaining. Seriously I was looking through missions I didn't complete and found te skagzilla mission and I leveled up so much it was easy. I beat the shit out of it and for extra cinematic purposes I started running at him head on and he started charging me and I jumped in the air and delivered a brain liquifying left hoo
the melee build. explosive on brick is no doubt the best dps but i was looking for a viable melee build. its good, but not very impressive. i might try brick on next time. it looks so fun punching people in the face.
BM Brick does have the best DPS in the game yes, that has been confirmed. You can play who you want how you want but this is widely accepted as the best version of melee brick. So perhaps melee isn't for you then.
So you're actually supposed to get downed with Brick. That explains alot, great video :D
Brick is truly the paragon of virtue and nobility that Pandora needs.
You get a thumbs up for the title alone 👍🏻

+Yso serious?85 (Ysoserious85) Get a skirmisher com with +4 short fuse. That's all you need.
Ok, thanks.
Spunky117 I'm shocked you replied to a comment that was posted 6 years after the actual video
Die hard gives a 50% cool down rate when you go down and get back up, also he might be using a different com when went to old haven, with 4 points in Short fuse making his cool down almost a full cool down decrease, like a 10 second cool down, more or less
But i think they patched that glitch with die hard
i never played brick thought his skill was crap now i wana start a new playthrough as him after seeing this.
lol but how do you hope to kill the general Knoxx last boss? the big bug? Idk how you're going to reach his eyes lol
My first character is a 50 Soldier and I wanted to lvl one of each, second was brick, he's not 50 but I just hit playthrough 2, I decided i'd level him as a blaster/tank but seeing this video I'll have to look into brawler for the final few lvls.

i never even knew about that chest at the end of your video so thnx :)
im making brick a brawling titan as well, only using shotguns and rocket launchers
"I punch her" brick, tiny Tina's assault on dragon keep 2013
I CANT make myself go down, I have the shield rose rose (its a modded shield I got from online, someone gave my two actually, one for my Roland and one for my Lilith, which I gave to brick) and the amount of shield it has, it has like 2 million, but it recharges so fast it doesn't say recharge rate, no it says delay

Valkyrie Might brick is the tank, if you put points in the right skills he can be invincible, (not really but he has a lot of health)
i guess in another point of view when your in close range and your shield is gone you would prefere the extra strength due to killing the enemies quicker and the quicker you kill them the more health you get.. @HolyVegeta it is an RPS BTW
He devoured everything and everyone
with the level cap at 69 where would you put the rest of the skill points
abyss knight pretty sure I made an update video for level 69. I could be wrong
Well, yeah, I guess I put it in a bad way.
What I meant was, it's not as bad to get downed with Brick as say, Mordecai.
how do you have that much backpack space?
1500!!!
i thought 24 was a lot. lol
Robo Fish I think he used a mod to get it that high
Thats some insane berzerking
THANKS ALOT i just worked my lilith all the way up to 69 and now all i wanna do is make a brick :) thanks literally xD
Why is your max level 50?
Not Claptrap look at the date of upload
Spunky117 I know it was back in 2010 but was it a dlc or update that changed the max level?
Not Claptrap Both, knoxx dlc and claptrap iirc and an update made all the enemies scale
Spunky117 I don't have any dlcs so quick question, what dlc is the "claptrap iirc"?
Not Claptrap claptraps robot robolution
god IO hate the lunge skill, only works when oyu don't want it too and you can barely get criticals
Nice.
Now can you teach me how to Dougie?
LivingxPrime here it is, the response you've been waiting for all these years, no
Well, now that Bl1 has cap on 69 lvl and 2 bonus points Brcik can be made pretty much unkillable
@killingyoukindly That's what I wanna know. Maybe someone said it in an earlier comment but I don't feel like looking. >.> I didn't start using the shot guns until I was level 43. Stupid me.

@Deadmilkmen1 dude can't you read? "Lvl 50 Skirmisher"

fucking... badass... cant wait to get this game.
how to play brick : go berserk and just smash
i eet the destroyer with oly melee
This inspired me to make a Brick Character, and powerlevel him up then go punch the sh*t out of everything. Or better yet... just punch things in general :3
@rggfgjerjh Then you have never played a 'firefly' lilith with phoenix. Literally walk past things and they simply melt.
Brick is pretty well and mordaki I'don't know how to spell his name
FlareonGirl196 Mordecai
borderlands version of ufc
WHAT NO LAG?!
This is how my brick is, though I use Juggernaut instead of diehard. And I use the explosive artifact because punching things so fucking hard the explode is NEVER, EVER not entertaining. The vault hunters are so much cooler in BL1 :/
James Price true, but... Wilhelm tho
You're ten levels above the guys you're killing. .. lame.
that vs badass dps. its not as good as other characters.
I can keep up with Merc lilith with an anarchy and blast master brick. Not sure what you're on about.
the melee build. explosive on brick is no doubt the best dps but i was looking for a viable melee build. its good, but not very impressive. i might try brick on next time. it looks so fun punching people in the face.
