As Mechanic who did a lot of tyre work and alignments... I spent my morning with a coffee and watching... I don't normally comment but keep it up... Awesome watching from Australia. Awesome work Matt...
I had the same problem with my alignment and I got roll center ball joints and it corrected the geometry and was able to dial in my alignment to my specs. I did front and rear.
I wish I had a shop like this near me. Instead I've got national chain stores that don't even come close to this level of customer service. I'm sure not every customer gets this much attention but at least you have somebody that "gets it".
Totally agree. "They all hit the green" and done even though the left could have positive camber while the right having negative......Its so hard to find a good hunter machine AND operator that knows what they are doing and cares.
You lost ride height in the front because your suspension bushings were not preloaded when height was adjusted. The OEM S2000 bushings require the full weight of the car to be placed on them before they are torqued down. The Origin bushings are solid and put the control arm in position as if you preloaded the factory bushings. I would raise the car about half an inch all around then preload (this will place the car back where it is now in terms of height), redo the corner balancing, and then redo the alignment. Your new wheels will not change your alignment at all even with the different width and offsets. Love the rapid fire videos tonight!!
Hey Matt! Love your videos! I have a f80 and was wondering if you came by this when you owned yours. Does your inner portion of your right front and back tires wear much faster than the left? What do you think the problem is? Would the car need suspension alignment? Cant seem to figure it out and going through tires too fast!
Zo oka There must be a way to weld it up to the chassis. Going through all this trouble to dial in a loose convertible? Biggest issue will always be body flexing
I love watching all your videos back to back but thinking about your channel wouldn't daily uploads do better for the channel than constant uploads back to back? Maybe I'm wrong, just speaking my mind
I'm sure, but I'm rebelling against all that. My assumption is that the people watching are intelligent and fully capable of choosing to watch when they are ready to watch. I only have so much time and energy, so I upload when I have content to upload. The daily stuff ends up being people doing a bunch of nothing. At least that's my philosophy...
I liked this series! He seems like an honest guy that knows what the heck hes doing other than turning a wrench.

I'm driving to orlando the next time I need tires and alignment
Patiently waiting for more Matt, keep it up!

Yep, I have Hardrace Roll Center adjusters front and rear.
This car is absolutely perfect!
It's still a bit of a mess, but it's almost there.

It was nice having the videos chopped up into manageable segments 10:00 minuets or so
Damn that is one sexy mean looking car. Keep up the great work and videos. Keep having fun and be safe.
Haha man so lucky not to have to mess with heights on cross weight changes.
Yep...
nice lht shirt sir 👍 great upload also learned a bit about s2000 alignment, my tires are wearing out unevenly so iam doing some research.

Needs an alignment
Definitely alignment. You probably need to get you rear toe adjusted. Should be a simple, and easy fix.

What is the shop called?
Dynasty in East Orlando
I think I see a scratch on the left rear fender.
Dent
Obsessed Garage a dent was once a scratch ;)
Any information about this shop?

Cool video$$
What finish is on the new wheels? Please don't say black!
Diamond Black. It was my only option for now. Bronze or Ti Gunmetal were 6 months plus production.
