I can almost hear the foxes thinking: Hey... this ground here... it doesn't hurt my paws! My paws always hurt, but... wow! And to be able to run, to enjoy the energy they naturally have, but couldn't express or set free, so wonderful to see them enjoying being alive!
Broad mesh wire doesn't do their feet any harm and is more hygenic than a dirty wet hard floor . My ferret hutches all had broad mesh floors in the run area and never in 30 years had a foot problem. But my animals all came outside every day for a while too and had a solid bed. Do those foxes have a sleeping box..
It always hurts seeing an animal who was in a very enclosed area question stepping out of the door because you know exactly that they’re thinking “am I allowed to? I don’t know I’ve never done this before, I’m nervous” because they’ve never felt true freedom before but once they realize “omg I’m free! I can run around!” It’s so joyous to see it brings tears to the eyes.
Between foxes, otters, red pandas, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, beavers, fennec foxes, wombats, and capybaras, as well as kittens and puppies, the world is FULL of unadulterated *CUTENESS!!!* It's a wonder any of us get anything done! Great job SaveAFox, this is a very joyful video!

It is a CRIME that these foxes have never gotten to stretch their legs, run and jump, or even lay on the ground until now. I’m not sure what was the most fun to watch... the running and leaping, or, seeing the foxes looking truly relaxed in the background with smiles on their faces as they panted from the exertion!

That was my thought too. I've been able to contribute a small amount. Obviously SaveaFox does still need contributions - that's going to be some big bills in the future for the foxes care. This is heartwarming and bittersweet at the same time. These foxes are finally and thankfully free... But how many others are still locked up, and how many have already died without ever knowing how it felt to run over grass? Definitely a huge improvement. Even that looks too small for them though. For now it's probably good. Hopefully later on you'll get them into that larger habitat.
I would say living in captivity under the care of a knowledgeable handler with plenty of enrichment in an outdoor enclosure is even better than being fully wild. These animals need not worry about injury, illness, parasites, or starving to death. They get to just live, which is a massive improvement to what they were dealing with in a fur farm, under the half-assed care of a total psychopath who doesn't care about anything other than money, with no enrichment whatsoever, and barely enough room to move.
Every time I see liberated foxes, I'm speechless, and more so this time. It's astonishing. Imagine the contrast. Imagine the change from tiny cages to running free.

The sight of these fox touching earth was nothing. The sight of them being able to run and jump was extraordinarily fabulous. This is what they would do if they were in the wild. There is no way to pick a favorite video from Save A Fox. This one here with the "Walking on the ground for the first time," is so heart warming and emotional. The stunts these foxes then put on and the more comfortable they become the natural instints just explode. This video I will classify as a favorite, for sure. I see they have quite the audience, as well. I bet the moment was emotional for everyone while these foxes just go exploring. The one jump is epic to catch, as well. It is so interesting that they appear to be coming to you for praise on what they are doing like they are in trouble for being a wild fox for the first time. So adorable and cute.
When I saw the white one take off running, my heart just lept with joy. To think that all they knew was wire mesh under their paws. And now they have smooth concrete, soft dirt and grass, and ROOM!! ❤️

It’s grand to see these foxes begin to experience a “natural life” for the first time.
I would say living in captivity under the care of a knowledgeable handler with plenty of enrichment in an outdoor enclosure is even better than being fully wild. These animals need not worry about injury, illness, parasites, or starving to death. They get to just live, which is a massive improvement to what they were dealing with in a fur farm, under the half-assed care of a total psychopath who doesn't care about anything other than money, with no enrichment whatsoever, and barely enough room to move.

The sight of these fox touching earth was nothing. The sight of them being able to run and jump was extraordinarily fabulous. This is what they would do if they were in the wild. I had made a general donation and my husband has done the same, as I don't care who the money goes to, all the fox need help. This is a huge undertaking alone, not counting that you also have a toddler to be raising. I've been watching you for years, shared your channel and will continue what I'm able to do. It’s so awesome, seeing them walk on real soil and grass for the first time. The habitats you built for them are excellent, almost makes me wish I could be a fox for a week and live in those.

*Please consider breaking up the sponsorship to one person per fox, at $600 each. I wouldn't expect anything except to name him or her and to see him/her in videos every once in a while. Setting up and maintaining special cameras, plaques, etc. seems like an expensive and time consuming venture. I'd rather you spend time with the animals.

There is no way to pick a favorite video from Save A Fox. This one here with the "Walking on the ground for the first time," is so heart warming and emotional. The stunts these foxes then put on and the more comfortable they become the natural instints just explode. This video I will classify as a favorite, for sure. I see they have quite the audience, as well. I bet the moment was emotional for everyone while these foxes just go exploring. The one jump is epic to catch, as well. It is so interesting that they appear to be coming to you for praise on what they are doing like they are in trouble for being a wild fox for the first time. So adorable and cute.
I have adopted breeders from puppy mills and they act the same way. So beautiful.
When I saw the white one take off running, my heart just lept with joy. To think that all they knew was wire mesh under their paws. And now they have smooth concrete, soft dirt and grass, and ROOM!! ❤️
