I agree with you that Vienna has faced challenges as a place to live, and it's unfortunate that many long-time residents have had to leave. However, I still think visiting Vienna is an incredible experience!
Well the "Centimeter" is really not the right place for eating Gulasch...so I understand your rating, although it was therefore also no fair rating I could name you out of the top of my head at least 10 places (meaning Vienna´s actual Top 10 Gulasch places) where you would had get a by far way better Viennese Gulasch. One place would had been just 10 -15 minutes by foot from your Hotel named "Gasthaus Grünauer". Even in the Amusement Park Prater which you visited was a place with a better Gulasch (which is not in those Top 10 Gulasch places but it is still a very good Gulasch) named "Schweizerhaus" although their speciality is the roasted pork knuckle which I would highly recommend to eat there.
