Very disturbing. This episode literally could have been a horror/thriller film. It's amazing that this sort of physical abuse/hazing still gives on in black fraternities. Thanks for making this series. It's inspiring to see a black directed and produced show with such great production values, great score and great character-based acting.
What's amazing these are the type of guys that said No to drugs and gangs but, they get involved in a process that resembles of a gang process. Wanting to be apart of something so bad can result in consequences that could last a lifetime

I love this series but I still will never wrap my head around the hazing process of the organizations (the ones that do) yelling at retelling me I'm not for it I can deal with but the physical abuse I will never understand. All in all great episode!

I "discovered" Black Boots a few weeks ago and now I am official caught up lol. Amazing series and I love the film noir-ish flourishes. Watching this episode brought up so many emotions in me. The Blair situation is sad and I wonder how it will be play out. The egg yolk pass disgusted me. Job well done because Black Boots stimulates me intellectually and emotionally.

I went to an all girls college but I dated a guy that was in a black frat and I can honestly say that some of the stuff that happened on this webseries is not too far from what he was saying that was going on in his frat. I'm sorry I ain't paying no damn money to be a part of a "sisterhood" or "brotherhood" that honestly looks like a academic version of a gang

ARTISTIC STANDARD TV This show is Amazing and Amazingly realistic. I just found this show last night, on 5/27/2018, and I am making my rounds. Binging.
I truly enjoyed the idea of this series but I could not stomach this episode. It's almost disgusting to see an example of what some people are willing to go to for these stupid organizations. Letting strangers treat them like garbage and then turn around and call them brothers and sisters but as soon as God doesn't answer a prayer the moment they say amen the wanna curse Him and doubt Him. The devil has people so confused it's crazy.

I love this show it is very entertaining but I cannot imagine why people go through all that hazing to become greek. If you are suppose to become a member of a brother or sisterhood why should you be beaten? Becoming a member won't make you automatically forgive the person. I know this for a fact a few of my friends are greek (akas and deltas) and say they still hate their prophytes till this day!

Everyone can say what they want, saying it's inhumane etc whatever. You do not have any say until you been a part of it. The reason IS for tradition. That's the whole result of brotherhood. You don't build deep life long relationships through drinking and partying or even clubs. You build them through hardships, no matter what that hardship is. They're not just 'trying to get in', they're changing their lives, being a part of something greater than themselves, finding what brotherhood really means. and keep in fucking mind they are doing this VOLUNTERLY. If they dont like the process then they don't have to do it..

It is inhumane. What cultish nonsense are you spouting? Brotherhood isn't built through hardship. For us non cultish people, we have sisters and brothers who aren't blood who are there for us no matter what and we have a love and bond that is unbreakable and we didn't subject ourselves to the sick sadistic torture of some expensive social club.
And just because someone is willing to go through this, doesn't make it ok to do it to them. There's plenty of broken people so desperate to belong that they're willing to go through anything, but it's a sick individual that takes advantage of them.
You're not going to convice us not under this spell that there is some benefit to this. And look at the ones in the frat. There doesn't seem to be much brotherhood. There's just as much division as with any other group of people.
Oh and if people do drop the line, they become social pariahs at the school. Which can just snap a person who was broken enough to consider this.
