I think it's because that many buy on Ebay from questionable sellers. I've heard that Craze is discontinued. At 0:49, I noticed that your bottle is dated the same as the two I purchased, May 20, 2015. I had to return one of them because there was a noticeable smell of alcohol when first spraying and the back of the bottle was scratched. In addition, there was a black particle floating inside the bottle. There's many videos showing how to decant fragrances. If you can take a needle and syringe to remove the juice for decanting, you can do the same to fill the bottle with water, alcohol or some other fluid.
The second bottle of Craze I purchased was in perfect condition and also has nice lasting power. By the way, I experienced the same problem with a recent purchase of CDNI Men. The bottle was scratched, juice sprayed on the first pump and even though the box was sealed, it was ragged and looked like it was opened about 20 times. Naturally, I returned that, too. Thankfully, I still have plenty left from my 2016 bottle of CDNI Men.
Absolutely this. No matter how cheap a fragrance, there are fakes and the fakes for cheapies are re-fills.

Nice vid, Ifi! I bought craze this past winter and definitely got a few complements. However, the fragrance is pretty linear so I layered it with Tuscan leather (well, Rasasi's version at least)... this is where it shined. Waayyy more attention and definitely more complements! Try giving it a go! Dark, sweet, masculine, and mysterious!

I never understand the people who talk about the bottle and even the box. I've never had someone tell me "You smell great, but what does the bottle look like that it came in?".
The bottle actually looks good if you remove the stupid strap off it, only takes 3 seconds to fix the bottles appearance 😂
The hype on this one has driven the price through the roof. Wish I had jumped on this one sooner.
There still selling it on EBAY for less than$30....
So this was a total blind buy for me. I never smelled PDM before and bought this based on glowing reviews. With the first spray I recognized this scent from my childhood. This smells exactly like root beer bottle caps (American candy). I literally went and bought some to compare and it’s identical! If you get your hands on some let me know your thoughts.
You are perfectly right as the other time , the craze is the most close clone and the strongest performer of armaf line , your great research and concern are appreciated !

I love this one and Just for You. To me Armaf should have kept making more fragrances under this Luxe line. If you find Craze too harsh and powdery II highly recommend POlice Forbidden Woman. Its a more creamy, wearable and sexy take on the bitter almond vanilla take. Totally unisex

This is the best armaf, yes I agree, but the problem is, my wife realy hates this perfume, so I never spray this at home, I spray it at the office 😅

Another good review Ifi! I'm not a fan of Pegasus so by default don't like Craze all that much either but it is fantastic juice for sure, although I'd say CDNIW is their best juice, but then I own and love TFNdN so i'm biased!!

Considering that it's hardly available anywhere and the prices have jumped, I would think it is. Someone posted in the Fragantica reviews that they work in the Armaf factory and that it indeed is discontinued. The Sterling Parfums website seems incomplete, so it's hard to tell from that. Bro, blind bought this one based on your review, its not bad but definitely not beast mode and surely not my favorite, it maybe a good clone but doesn't last as much on my skin. I need to do atleast 7 sprays to get it last for few hours. CDNIM is lot better and long lasting for me

Great video,i'm about 1yr too late!!!but just purchased a bottle of this Armaf Craze edp 2018 edition for £18 off the internet.....BARGAIN.......(private seller).Very very strong smelling edp...Very sweet smelling fragrance,tbh not too sure if i like it yet,but may grow on me...
He's correct, this is a really strong perfume,if you're indoors 1 spray is really more than enough.i wore maybe 3 sprays and wrote an exam and people wear complaining about how heavy it is😅
You are absolutely right man after trying almost all the fragrances by armaf I can say that this is the sexiest fragrance by armaf the base notes of sandalwood and Amber are so good that one keeps on enhaling this fragrance.Absolutely intoxicating fragrance.Other fragrances these days are just gizmos.A master blend by Armaf.Its spicy note on skin is very sexy to any women's nose.But equally liked by both men and women not for teenagers who like aquatic fresh fragrances made of detergent molecules.An all time classic fragrance.Made for a macho Man.One thing that is noteworthy is that the Amber notes are not strong they are mellow and powdery may be due to vanilla and almond.
yeah this one worked the best for me last winter.. Got me a lot of compliments and I enjoy the smell.. it does have a freshness to it.. To a fragrance expert it probably is a synthetic smelling one for sure.. but it works well in the air.. my bottle is horrendous.. Everything about my bottle sucks..
I don’t find it so synthetic to be honest, bit I’m no fragrance expert. For those who don’t like it, they should check Pegasus first, it’s basically the same thing.

ifishares You are so right on the spot. I haven't sampled all Armaf fragrances, but the quality, longevity, projection... They are all extremely good on Craze. So I believe you 100% when you say it's the best Armaf!
It's a good remark to mention that it's not _your_ personal favorite. Same here. My favorite Armaf is Club de Nuit Intense Woman. About Craze: I sampled it, I wanted to like it but no. Didn't buy a bottle. What a shame since it's truly a real powerhouse.
B G Hi there,,, just with a doubt ! That CDNIW smells pretty good for Men or is definitely a women Scent ?
Maximus Online CdNIW is marketed towards women, hence it has "Woman" in its name. But CdNIW is an imitation of Tom Ford Noir De Noir which is marketed towards women and men. I can tell you that CdNIW is so close to Noir De Noir that I can't tell one from another. So considering that CdNIW can be acknowledged as a unisex fragrance.
And the smell: it is very thick and heavy rose with dark chocolate. I know there's no dark chocolate in the listed notes but that's what I get. About the gender factor: listed notes include patchouli and saffron which both are thought as masculine notes. But I don't smell either of them. It's just thick dark chocolate with heavy rose. And it is friggin' gorgeous.
Something else: _personally_ I don't categorize fragrances with gender but tried to give my best answer. I'm a man myself and I use any fragrance that does the job for me, fits the situation, fits the time of the year and fits me. So it might be that I'm not the best man to give an advise in this matter. But if you buy yourself a bottle please come back and comment what do you think about it. Good luck!

I had some trouble liking Craze also, still have, but wearing it during the cold winter days works for me. CDNIW is definitelly another powerhouse and one of the best Armafs.

Got my hand on this today,i have not smell Parfum de marley but this one in dry down smell very close to Armani code profumo!did'nt blow me away to be honest,i like CDNI better but not saying this is bad,it's just a little sweet on my taste..

Craze is one of the best Armaf frags.... I also still love CDNIM... Wore Craze at work and filled one of our small offices... Great compliments also while I was at work 😊. Still have to be careful if I was to wear this at work again....
CDNIM has the better smell, it’s a clone of one of the greatest perfumes ever afterall :), but Craze is so close to Pegasus in both quality and performance. One spray is enough for the office

You are an experienced expert of different ones, so first I would like to ask if it’s possible that this is an eau de colognes with an open red cover on the top in hard plastic but can appear as made of glass, which seals the sprinkler. Is it for men or women? The bottle is less than 10 cm high and round at the bottom and the liquid is middlebrown and the sprinkler is golden. Hope You can know what it can be? Craze performs well and is a good quality...but I'm not a fan of Pegasus so I don't reach for this one often. My favorites (of the almost 30 I own) are Tres Nuit, Tag-Him Prestige, Opus Homme, Derby Club House Blanche and Blue Homme. Cheers!
Not my favorite Armaf either, Jim, but I have to give it the award for it’s quality, performance and similarity to Pegasus. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I also like Blanche very much and Club de nuit not the intense.

We're talking about Parfums de Marly Pegasus. I am unfamiliar with Flavia Pegasus. As far as Bleu de Chanel clones go...Armaf Tag-Him (not Tag-Him Prestige) is a very good copy. Others that have some, or a lot, of similarity are: Armaf Backpack Infinity
, Armaf Craze Bleu
, Armaf Enchanted Trend
and Armaf Shades Blue.

do a comparison of the Armaf/Estiara Bleu de Chanel clones since there are at least a half-dozen out there (probably more since I only have a couple Estiara fragrances).
Moreover, my bottle of Bleu de Chanel EDT is almost empty and I've decided to buy another bottle of the EDT because I wasn't overly impressed with the EDP, or Parfum for that matter. I wouldn't mind finding a Armaf/Estiara that was more more liked the EDP.

David, I personally like Club De Nuit Man very much. Not the intense version. El Cielo and Derby Club House Blanche are also among my favorites

IMO the best ArmaF fragrance, for far, is Shades Wood. At first is like hashish, but the drydown is heaven. Is maGic, and last and project like a nuclear bomb.
Have they reformulated this cologne? I have used craze for the last 5 years and I bought a 2019 batch which smells nothing like earlier batches. I bought a second bottle, also a 2019 batch and it smelled the same as the first 2019 batch. The earlier batches smelled awesome. I won't buy this version of Armaf Craze again.
Sold. Just got PDM Layton today in the mail (amazingggg to me), Pegasus was going to be my next purchase. I loved Club De Nuit Intense man and this being $19 I'll try it.

Your cap is broken like another reviewer I saw. Maybe it's been broken for a long time so you forgot, but the part you lifted off is actually two pieces; the cap and the "shoulders" that are supposed to stay attached to the glass.

Hunter intense is Invictus mixed with Dylan blue. I like it, but I have both of those so I will likely give my bottle away.

I loved Layton, and the closest places I can smell Parfums de Marly colognes are hours away from me. I blind bought Craze about a year ago because it's so cheap and also because Armaf did awesome with CDNIM/Aventus. . Anyway, my Craze smelled horrible, and I couldn't understand the hype. I traveled out of town this week and was finally able to smell a legit Pegasus bottle in Nordstrom's. There is a massive difference between the two. Don't waste your money on Craze unless you just want to see for yourself.

It might be the best, but it's discontinued, therefore not so adorable anymore. The cheapest you can get it for in US is $60 and I'm sure it'll get more expensive as the time goes on. Great video though! Keep up the good work!

The price is not lower than cdnim here in the states.. After these reviews on UA-cam and what not, they have doubled/tripled the price and it's really hard to find now
Fragrancex has it for around 25$ but it’s out of stock. Hopefully it will be back, either in the same bottle or another. Armaf does that.
Craze is the best fragrance from Armaf which is a clone of Pegasus. I think #2 in the Armaf lineup is Clube de Nuit Man which is a Paco Rabbane 1 Million clone.
Between Armaf Craze and CDNIM which is better for summer conditions and in respect to longevity ?
Cdni way better for india/Bangladesh summers. The smell of craze is way too sweet/cloying for summer.

Hello Ankit, there is no other alternative from Armaf, but there is one from a company in Turkey called Lelas Black
Ifi your reviews are great, but although I like Craze, CDNIM and Armaf Pride are better performers. Craze in my opinion is just below those 2 and Futura La Homme is close to it.

Hi Ali! It’s not always the case with armaf fragrances being like flavia or estiara. For example Craze doesn’t smell like anything I have smelled from Estiara and Flavia and Flavia Cygnus smells like nothing from Armaf :). I do hope we can find an alternative to Craze in another bottle from Sterling, bit if there was one I was aware about, I would have shared this info bro :)

What's the deal with the price? In 2017, Ifi, you totally predicted that it was under the radar. Now, is it so in demand because they reformulated it or because they discontinued it? I can only find it for very expensive prices. Usually over $70 or I can't find it at all.
It’s either discontinued or the demand is too high. I have found an alternative from a Turkish company, but it’s hard to find and the price is also around 70$. The company is called Lelas perfumes, if you ever come across them.

After doing a lot of research on this one, I've finally purchased it for more than $50 on Ebay, including shipping, because it is discontinued and demand is increasing.
50$ is less than 150$ which is the price of Pegasus. So, at this price is still worth it.
