Maybe I’m just overanalyzing things, but for the longest time I’ve always felt like something doesn’t sit right with GiGi. She comes off as this positive, understanding, gorgeous woman, who has this knack to be able to get on the level of the person she’s currently involved with and yes, those are great qualities to have, but with GiGi it’s a mystery. Is she truly being sincere and caring or is she just playing along until she loses interest or some other woman catches her eye?
Personally I think that now that Dani is in a healthy relationship, she would actually make a good step parent to Gigi’s kids. I mean realistically they don’t need one because both Nat and Gigi are still very involved with the kids but I can see Dani having a decent relationship with them because of how she wanted kids with Sophie.
I wish Season 2 was as well written as Season 1. None of these characyers have been properly fleshed out except for the ones we knew in the original series. We are not given the opportunity to see relationships develop, people jump into bed, say "I love you" after a whole minute. I do not like any of the new characters. I am invested in none of them and it is because of this season's very bad and superficial writing. Even how the writers try to make Gigi and Dani connect about the so-called lie Dani tells, comes off lame. I hope Season 3 is better.
I don't know, I like them both, but as a couple, mismatched. Poor Gigi seems to be a filler for the other bunch with relationship issues. Dani needs to focus on herself and find something that makes her happy before getting into another relationship. On a different note, I'm still waiting for a visit from Helena ;)
Soooo Dani was about to do that same exact thing she used to do to Sophie (which was not talk or share) with Gigi, but I guarantee you absolutely no one in the comments calls her out for it or acknowledges the Dani had a huge part in Sophie looking for caring elsewhere because of this same behavior amplified. All simply because they aren't attracted to Sophie personally, but think Gigi's hot so suddenly everything is perfect with Dani. Let' see how short the memories are.
Nah Dani definitely did not push Sophie to cheat. Sophie literally got with Dani by cheating on someone else. Thats just what she does, Sophie is far too emotionally dependent on her partners and when things aren't going right she freaks out. And when it comes to their communication problems, Sophie is different from Gigi in a lot of ways. Gigi sets proper emotional boundaries and doesn't try to force Dani to talk to her like Sophie did. Dani is still making the exact same mistakes but the way Gigi is dealing with them is a lot healthier. She gives Dani the space to do what she does while letting it be known that she won't tolerate any disrespect, Dani doesn't have to apologize but she chooses to. Yelling at someone like Sophie does because they don't feel comfortable opening up to you is not gonna make them feel any more comfortable with you. And I think the main problem with Sophie and Dani's relationship was the lack of trust on both sides. If Sophie had just simply broken up with Dani because she wasn't happy then no one would be mad at her. But for her to cheat and then lie about it until Finley literally crashed their wedding, is completely Sophie's fault
How you gonna blame Dani for Sophie cheating when that was Sophie's decision. Finley pulled away and Sophie pulled her back in she didn't care that she was hurting Dani.
