3:56 This Driver is impressive to watch. He completes a whole neighborhood within 1 hour or so. Always pushin' on the gas! However when I followed the driver throughout his route, he skipped some trash cans. Maybe 5 households and then skips one. There is 2 reasons from what I know; 1, The homeowner has not paid the bill. 2 The items contained inside the bit are toxic, not allowed to be collected, or overflowed. One time he skipped mine since I had Styrofoam sticking out (When I completely forgot it was restricted for recycling) . But 1 week later he picked mine up. Maybe trying to play jokes or making his shift faster? Whatever it is, He is still an impressive Recycle Collector. Nice Catch!
Still love this video. Hard to believe all 4 macks in this video have been retired. Even funnier thing is I recognized and can name all those streets you filmed on the Friday route. Cool and odd knowing we had a big youtuber out here filming our trucks. Still think I actually saw you filming Ozzie on that corner. Thought my eyes were tricking me but, looks like I was right.
Man as soon as I got the notification this was uploaded I rushed over. I gotta say, it's pretty awesome to see people you know as your driver's working, and knowing someone else filmed it. Awesome trucks, haha the area where you filmed 581 was done just after we're we finished filming. Same thing with Saturnino, really wish you could have seen 101499, I am still very upset WM pulled it from service. Janel always puts on a show with 101527, sad to know that's on its way out. 523 is definetly my favorite truck in the AV fleet that's still in service, bet you couldn't get the sound of the arm motor out of your head afterwords lol. I was going to find 526 this week but man that was slow. The fact that it's missing that second grabber on the side towards that cab literally made me laugh out loud. Good stuff bro! Looking forward to more from you!

Great video Aaron! Very nicely filmed. 103392 was a lot more exciting than I had anticipated which was a great surprise. If you put an experienced driver behind the wheel of one of the boring trucks they sure can put on a show. I enjoyed both Autoreaches as well, especially the clips where they were dumping a WMX cart! 526 was definitely slow but we gotta enjoy the history behind those units. How long till they are replaced? Awesome compilation.... as always

yeah that 392 was cracking me up, super fast but kinda beat up. and then it just stuns me to think Ellipticals are being or will be retired soon. Autoreach footage was quite satisfactory, thought you were filming 15 years ago in Palm Desert for a sec. nice to see an Autoreach that actually appears responsive and "tight," well for the first one anyway. what three trucks were you hoping to find, but didn't? got your email btw, no worries. just glad you haven't forgotten :)

Glad you enjoyed the Autoreach footage too, those have always been some of my favorite trucks out in the AV. The 3 trucks I was hoping to find were 2 Mack Amreps and 1 Autoreach. One of the Amreps was the truck 392 replaced, the other was a childhood truck of mine (101582), and the Autoreach was my favorite of the four AV ran. Fastest arm and the driver revved the best in my opinion. Great compilation of Palmdale WMmaster626, those were 2 great trips. I'm glad we were able to find the ex Baldwin Park Mackrep, that was fun to watch with that fast arm cycle. I'm glad we found a fast 2009 Amrep that operates and sounds different from the rest. I'm so glad we found 2 ex WM of the Desert Mack Autoreaches, they a truly living legends and do not disappoint . I'm glad Janel revved the Autoreach pretty good, I wonder if that Autoreach used to rev like the CNG one Alex found many years ago?
Thank you! Satisfied with what we found that's for sure. Still upset we missed Gilberto though that was by far the truck most similar to the Desert. Haha I was just watching that video not too long ago. Those CNG ones have work brakes so they can be revved MUCH more easily than these LNG ones
Ahh the moment I’ve been waiting for! First off no problem man! I’m glad I was able to help out a lot with route info and if you do come back you know what to do. But man you got amazing footage!! From ozzie in 581,to saturnino in 392,to Janel (my recycle driver) in 527,Anthony in 526. And who can forget good ol Allan in 523. He is an absolute joy to be around and 523 is an absolute joy to film hands down. That’s too bad about 526,man ever since dan stoner got 103444,that truck has gone to absolute crap! And it’s a shame because when stoner had it the truck ran well. I guess once relief guys get ahold of trucks that’s the end (no disrespect to Anthony). None the less great footage man! I’ve been waiting to see it lol

Nice video! Not too often do you get to see McNeilus Autoreaches from Waste Management. Fresno has 103395 and compared to 103392 it's slow as heck! If only the drivers here in Fresno would operate it like Saturnino. Any ideas what will happen with the old units?

Really enjoyed this one. 101581 was very entertaining, and I have to agree about the new signboards being awesome. I'll admit to being a bit disappointed by 103392 at first but the way it violently whips the carts out of the hopper is certainly very satisfying. Also glad to see Janel revved the Autoreach like you mentioned, otherwise they're just begging for gas. It never really occurred to me that these Mack Autoreaches were from the Desert but that absolutely makes sense. Kinda makes me wonder how many 'newer' trucks like these WM switched out of the Desert before Burrtec took over. Also what hauler did WM take over here / where are those SSI's from? I'm incredibly behind on viewing and commenting but this video had my attention from the second I saw it in my subscriptions, all around excellent video!

I think the difference in operation between 526 and 527 really shows the need for it to be revved lol So far, I've found roughly a dozen trucks that were dispersed to other yards from the Desert. Those SSIs are from Arklin Brothers Enterprise, also known as Palmdale Disposal. They ran the landfill out in Palmdale and sold to WM in 1999 I believe. They were also the owners of Santa Clarita Disposal, hence the beige colors you may remember seeing on some trucks on Navymailman's photostream way back in the day. Thanks again man!
