Awesome video! This was a real throwback, I remember watching your videos of some of these trucks as a kid. Really sucks that most if not all of them are gone now, but it looks like you managed to get a lot of footage of these trucks while you could. Also cool that you filmed some of Jose Mentado, I still see him occasionally out here on his Brea recycle route.
Thank you! Yeah only 2 maybe 3 of the 11 remain! Loved seeing Mentado around town, wish I had more footage of him over the years. Tell him I say hi if you see him soon!
Wow WMmaster626, I don't know where to begin. Starting the video out with old Sierra Madre carts getting collected by a Curotto Can sure is great. I'm glad you found Fili in multiple different Curotto Can's over the years. The Wittke/Leach sure was a beast and Mike was fast in the Volvo. That was exciting finally seeing Joe in a Curotto Can again and he sure was fast especially considering it had been almost a decade since he had driven one. That was funny how we talked about wanting to see Joe in a Curotto Can the day before it happened. We sure wanted to see Joe in a Curotto again for quite a long time, I'm glad it finally happened. It is great to see you caught Jose in the McNeilus, he is a nice driver and I wish he was still at WM driving it today. I'm glad to see you got a clip of Pimienta collecting bulk the first time you saw him. Great job editing this compilation video together WMmaster626, it is amazing!
Thank you!! Lot of great memories over the years here in Arcadia. Wish they kept the diesel Macks long enough for us to get good footage of them! Happy we saw Joe in 266, that was a terrific afternoon. Glad you enjoyed this!
Not sure how this ended up in my recommended videos but I had to comment. The black bins at 4:25 caught my eye. I’ve had that exact bin in Northeast Ohio for the past 27 years! We recently moved, so we no longer have WM. I’ve always wondered why WM had the black ones without the logo? I’d love to hear the story behind that. At one time, almost everyone had the black bins, as well as the burgundy WM ones. Still a lot of black ones but alot were replaced with new green ones. I will say they were built very well, and was surprised to see them in California!
Haha that's really cool! That cart actually came from the previous hauler that worked here, probably the same case with your cart. Extremely durable, they're pushing 30 years old now! Thanks for checking out the video!
Well done brother glad you have found this truck bc this truck is so good and these really so good happy new year brother God bless you and your family as well
Really enjoyed this one! The volvo curottos were just incredible to see. The old mack curottos sound so good too, really like those. I also thought that autocar wxll curotto was sick, glad its still around! Excellent video!
Hello Aaron, I’m gonna go to Merced in about a month and I was thinking instead of filming garbage trucks in that particular city, I want to check out the city of Fergus, CA that’s only 10 minutes away. I want to film there because I found out that the WM Atwater yard has some really cool trucks. Plus I’ve never filmed WM. But the problem is idk what day Fergus gets collected. Do you know?
@@WMmaster626 I just had my phone interview with the hiring manager and he said I did a good job and was well spoken. I will let you know if I get selected!
@@og.x888 nope, all good though I’ve been at a propane delivery company for the past 6 months and i like it. Will try again with waste management in the future.
Good job! I’m a fan of garbage trucks!
What A Banger👍👍❤️

Do you know how much waste management pays their residential cdl drivers?
Just depends on where you are located, it varies depending on site. Good luck!
