I call those services ‘maintenance days’. When I had my F355 the second service it went in for was a maintenance day. It was £3500 but there was way more than a belt service done. When they brought the car home to me it was a little unexpected and I needed a sit down on the garden wall 😅 Same with my 360. £4600 but I had new tyres all round, engine mounts front ball joints etc. last annual was just £500. I do need to take it back soon for a new gearbox mount. I’ve also recently purchased a new valves exhaust as the one currently I realised after 8 years of ownership (should have known from the noise really) it had some unknown cheap exhaust on. Also bought a Steve Bisel Forza electronic valve control. Annoyingly I found a U.K. supplier sold them after I bought mine from Steve in the USA and of course I’d have saved £91 on vat and import taxes. As you say when it’s the car we don’t really care too much. Lakeland motor museum looks like it’s worth a visit. Try the Oil Can in Last if the Summer Wine land. It’s like a smaller version with great food. That said I guess living in Yorkshire you already know about it. I tried to sell my 360 in 2021. I did have some interest but gave up in the end. Glad I kept it. I’d love a 458 sadly now out of reach for me personally. Last and by no means least. I get what you say about picking up a new car. However I never have any trepidation 😄 Superb video though I did miss the other Simon 😄
Thanks for your comments, yes the lakeland motor museum is a good reason to go for a drive and you're right so is the oil can cafe. Really glad you enjoyed the video and don't worry the other Simon is back on the next one where we finally get round to driving each others cars.
