One of my favorite Survivor songs.
In this song, the Yamaha DX7 electric piano sound is layered with drum rimshots, and before the chorus it becomes rhythmic and all the instruments echo.
And above all, the beauty of Jimi Jamison's singing voice is unparalleled.
His beautiful and elegant yet strong and powerful singing voice has a perfect balance between a penetrating high tone voice and a delicate husky voice.
Jimi Jamison passed away in 2014.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs! I admire how you are really jazzing it up to accomplish a solo piano arrangement, as opposed to just playing the keyboard part that would need the rest of the band to fill it out.

@@DaichiKOfficial I have played this on the piano by ear, but I really don't have the skill to do it as jazzy with the left hand. I have fond memories of meeting a girl at a resort in the Catskills and playing "Is This Love" for her on a piano in the hotel.
