I love how when she wants to find herself he went straight to protecting himself and his son that is how you handled it. No begging no crying, if she doesn't want to talk to you then she is ready to cheat or already cheating

Whenever a partner asks for a break and doesn't try to talk, it's because either someone already exists or their thoughts are already on someone. Another thing is that when a man wants to leave he already has everything planned out in his mind, the decision has already been made, but a woman when she acts this way she wants to keep the current situation on hold and test the waters. The woman tries to keep her feet on both platforms, if she doesn't work out, she believes she can return. The difference between a man and a woman in this and in many situations is that the man is practical and the woman is emotional. I don't want to generalize, but most of the time that's how things are.

Any married or exclusive GF woman that wants space, find them self or says any hippie stuff, just know they are saying "I want all the benefits of a marriage while looking for something better, just wait for me Mr. fall back guy!"

I have seen this happen to a couple. It did end in divorce and he did remarry. She actually had trouble finding someone who would marry her but she did find plenty who wanted fun.

"YOU thought the grass was greener on the other side. You found out it was blue, and now you cry. You packed your bags and you left. You walked out that door; but now, your well's gone dry, and you want to come back to me once more!" Full Force, "All In My Mind"
    That will be Carol crying.

The husband was ahead of the game from the start.
Hope for the best Plan for the worst.
The separation agreement laid down the ground rules and set a 60 day timescale.
Yes the issue of friends or workmates offering 'marriage guidance advice' rarely ends well.
The fact she only made out with the guy at the bar but didn't go all the way (if you can believe that) is irrelevant. The request for a separation and her behaviour for months prior were a clear indication of things to come. Fortunately the husband recognised the signs and took preemptive action.

So what exactly was Carole looking to find? She knew eventually she would be seduced and loved the game. Never take marriage advice from your divorced friends. Bad idea. Moving out? Even worst idea. I guess she felt she was too good for Dan. I have seen this before. Chubby wife loses weight. Suddenly other men pay her attention and off they go. Never realizing until it is too late that they had what they really wanted at home all along.

Anecdotally I never heard of a man asking for a 'break', a time away. Conversely I have been privy to more than a few woman asking for the same. These relationships all ended up in divorce... The lesson here is a "break" is the starting gate to divorce. Just file. Get 'er done...

@@ricardocamara7116I would add that a woman seeks security/stability and a man provides security/stability. So a woman is more likely to want to keep the secure situation while securing the new stable situation.

Yes. Women do plan it out though. Very strategically. Keeping one on hand while trying out others, is the very essence of "monkey branching"

And here's the twist. The personal trainer for Beth was a lesbian and the two of them had an affair and eventually left him. Beth took over half the stuff and custody of Andy because the feminist judge said she would be better than his Natural Born father to care for the child

In these stories, the perspective changes a lot. Sometimes in mid-sentence. Example: At 7:50 'When THEY first got married, WE had screwed like teenagers'.
The whole Beth angle was unbelievable. Days after his wife leaves, this guy lets a woman he's never met move into his home, them takes her overseas for a few months?
Not enough detail on what happened to Carol after she got the divorce petition. Did she just find another chump (or chubby chaser) to shack up with?
And there needed to be a little bit about Karen meeting up with an ab*sive dr*g user who gets her hooked, then turns her out for all his friends.

    • @ronhall5395

It was months later that he went overseas. His wife refused to move back after the 90 day separation. Once he had pictures of her making out in public it was over. It did not matter if she actually slept with the dude.
