This is why Jesus gave us His Church so that through the Sacraments we can come closer to God, the embodiment of all Truth. If our lives are not anchored to God, then we are subject to all kinds of deception and manipulation. Lord, may we love you so much, that we are bold and unmanipulated.🙏

We must strive to radically align the human heart to the Will of God in order to have true freedom. There are really only two kingdoms that are possible to reign in the human heart. We can choose the kingdom of satan where we trust our emotions, or we can deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus in holy obedience to the Will of the Father. The paradox is that surrendering to God our will is actually how we will find the true happiness. @trustinmercy7
