Another great video. I liked how you described your plays so far and projected how you guessed you’d feel about it after future plays, gives a real strong sense of how it plays and what makes it fun. Most reviewers only add “I will [not] play this a lot more”. Bravo.
Thank you for the video and it's great to see Cammie again. :)
Paul! I love everything you do! Great Videos! Many Greetings from Germany!
Thanks.
After my first play, and then seeing this, I am surprised to find you liked it a lot. I found it extremely boring, just repeating the same, obvious, actions over and over until the game ended. I am intrigued to find out what rules you played wrong the first time, to see if we did that as well, and to see if I find more enjoyment in the game the next time I play. I sent you a message on Facebook! Anyways, thanks for the review :D Talk to you soon!
I can't really add anything, I think we're in agreement :D (Actually, in mine I forgot to mention all the moving around when you replace a generator, what a pain! Will probably just leave gaps as you say in future)
yeah. that way, the rule of "only 1 person per vertical column" works much easier.
Oh blimey! Looks like another game goes on the wishlist! I hate paper money too!
What?! A FF game with strangely-written rules that lead to misinterpretations and misplaying? I'm shocked! Shocked, I say!
I'm detecting a little bit of sarcasm, just a hint :)
@@GamingRulesVideos : D Sarcasm aside, I pre-ordered this from my FLGS months ago. Based on other reviews I've seen, I've had a bit of buyer's... not remorse, but worry. Now I'm looking forward to it. I just hope i don't muck up the rules.
paul, if you remember, what was the big mistake you made on your first play?
I do remember - and it's down to the rulebook. It was where it said you cannot have more than 5 unoccupied spaces. And then it also defines a space where there is someone below working as unoccupied too. What it MEANS is: no more than 5 spaces that dont have someone in it (or below it) - i.e. so you can't just buy lots of empty housing.
Also - top tip - and this is from EVERYONE I know and not just me. Do NOT slide the generators to the left when you remove them or buy a new one, it just completely messes up all your organisation.
Happy to help more - just give me a prod on messenger.
@@GamingRulesVideos ah, yeah there are some wooly word-isms here. my problem was the changing definition of 'stacks' :)
Do you remember what the confusing points in the rules were?
Is this THAT much different from Factory Manager?
There are similarities, but I've not played FM in a couple of years. I don't remember liking it as much as this one.
