@Mall hopper Catherine Oxenberg is princess, her mother is princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. She's also third cousines with Charles's of U.K and Sophia's of Spain kids!!!!!
Well said, and this ridiculous scene was no exception, with characters wheeled on with gay abandon, adding nothing to the show's cohesion or progression.
Why was Ali Macgraw on this show? Her flat voice and confused looks served no purpose. A completely unmemorable character that makes you question what was she ever famous for?
Amanda was so very, very beautiful but, not an actress! This entire scene is awkward. I suppose the director did what he/she could do but, it was horrible.
Yes! Was thinking the same thing myself. As ridiculous as the plots often were, they generally executed them in a fairly professional manner. However this scene seems to consist of one awkward pause after another, the timing and delivery of the joke with Prince Michael being mistaken as a waiter is totally off as is the introduction of Ashley. Very amateurish scene.
Amanda's Romance With The Moldavian Prince Michael Was Good,But Ali McGraw As Lady Ashley Mitchell Was OUT OF PLACE Here,The Affair With Her And Blake Was A Tit For Tat For Krystle's Attraction To Daniel Reese(Rock Hudson). Anybody Else Who Came Along Couldn't Break The BOND Between Blake And Krystle!!!
Somehow I always hate when Michael Praed does an american accent. He does it well, having spent time there, but surely a "melencholy mediteranian hamlet" would have gone to public school in England and therefore picked up the kind of beautiful cut glass English accent that Michael naturally uses What a shame not to hear it here. Or perhaps our Hamlet hails more from Russia than the Med so that to find Moldavia one should "go to Odessa and hang a loui". All this was several years ago now and Michael was really a big kid back then, if incredibly sexy and charming.
Well, we can question their acting but not their beauty .
There was not a lot to work with line wise and these characters.
John was a good actor
This show could only have been made in the 1980s
SWEET JESUS Michael Praed was fucking gorgeous
Nothing like a prince waiting on Blake Carrington. Lady Ashley has the strangest walk
She looked a lot like Princess Diana

@Mall hopper You are welcome, nothing!!!! :)
Her most notable role prior to Dynasty, was playing Princess Diana in a TV movie.
@Mall hopper Her mother is a princess of the former Yugoslavia. She is cousins with the British royal family. She herself is not titled.
@@Μοσχοβίτης-γ9φ She is not a princess. You cannot inherit a title from your mother.
Alexis dress is fire
Ali Macgraw's character, "Lady Ashley," made absolutely no sense whatsoever on this show. Just one badly-acted scene to the next!
Well said, and this ridiculous scene was no exception, with characters wheeled on with gay abandon, adding nothing to the show's cohesion or progression.
I don’t know what she saw in Dex. I really rooted for her and her prince to enjoy a happily ever after whirlwind romance.
P MofM was a puss. Dex had that D...
You and me both.😩
Dex Dexter was the coolest
I thought the same as a child but now it's real man quality Dex Dexter all the way!!!💕
This show had every cliched camera angle ever invented, aswell as every cliche
Linda Evans made this show and when they tampered with her character
Didn't recognisz him in Emmerdale, had to read information it was him.
How could Ashley have known Amanda as a child if Alexa had hidden her away from everyone until her late teens/early 20's?

Bo Hanan well on here she’s known for how she was killed off lol
I question why you put a question mark at the end of you statement.
She was famous for starring in Love Story, dumping her then husband Robert Evans the studio head of Paramount Pictures for Steve McQueen.
That’s who they shot her!
Dreadful actress &so Michael of moldavia

This is such an awkwardly paced, awkwardly acted, and awkwardly directed scene. Its just... awful.
Truth

Why cant they use a rel name , Lexumberg.
Bad acting
Very
Ali MacGraw...lovely woman, horrible actress. Except for Love Story and Goodbye, Columbus her acting style was stilted and wooden.
