I have historically been very fond of expletives and expressive finger gestures at my computer when encountering similar situations in video editing. Compounded exponentially when you are in the zone, loose all track of time, have made enormous headway, and lost it all (and your will to live) in the span of 1 heartbeat .You are not alone! P.S. I can't believe that I missed this video! Bad John!
I'm so glad you mentioned the Cmd+S twitch, I used to save constantly while drawing because my laptop got reeeally finicky if I had too many layers. Thankfully I've since moved to drawing on my phone, freeing up resources for streaming and giving me a big blue save button right below my canvas (also it just crashes less, you'd think a phone would struggle more lol)
Yooo I remember in highschool when I made skit videos with my friends for school projects we had a beautiful spontaneous take once that exceeded all expectations and when we checked the camera it wasn’t recording. We tried to reenact it and it was usable but man than first take was unreplicatable.
Seeing the vocal recording booth brought back memories. Fun and classic jokes like "That sounded great... I should have recorded that!", or my favorite "Perfect!.. now do it again." These peeks behind the curtain are always fun for me. Kinda like movie blooper reels, it gives a perspective that the things we watch involve way more work than we know.
Haha I know how this is. The rainbow wheel is the worst. But that’s why I had to (unfortunately) leave Mac behind a long time ago. I really like Mac OS but ever since Tim Cook stepped in it just isn’t the same. I went to buy my MacBook Pro and I thought I could at least upgrade the Ram and so did the guy at Best Buy but no, they decided to solder it to the freaking motherboard. Who does that??? There’s no path to upgrade so you have to just buy a new one when the technology gets outdated. I still like Apple but I can’t buy their computers. It sucks.
the sincerity with which you confess you have bitten your tongue 😂😎💋💋💋
LOL. I had to! If I bite my tongue, but no one sees it, did it really even happen?? 😬

It's awful, isn't it? You can always rebuild, but it's never quite the same! (You are forgiven for missing this one! It was awhile ago. lol)

“I just bit my tongue 😛 “ As a want-to -be filmmaker, I can really relate! That dreaded spinning ball!!!
It's the worst!!

I haven't encountered the 'beach ball of death' in years. I could guarantee you would get one on the classic Mac OS, i. e., Systems 9 and below.
In some alternate universe, that performance posted and got a zillion views 😊
Ever work with Resolve?
Its why I gave up on apple years ago.
