- Hey Everyone! Here’s a little fun build I made this week as I’m waiting for a few parts to come to make a special video!
This 10x10 Lego Technic Truck users the Brick Controller 2 App to make the Torque Vectoring Steering work!
It sounds more complicated than it is and worked great 😀
Due to its lack of torque this won’t be entered into the Tug of War competition.
Thanks for Watching and reading!

hi Gaz, wow didn't expect this one. Very interesting and thanks for the mention! Amazing how the front steer makes the rest look so fluid, probably not easy to control in reverse then? Wish I'd viewed as soon as I saw it turn up but I thought no way I'd be first. Great work as ever, your Lego stock has got to be huge now. And well done on all the subscriptions 👍🍺🇬🇧
Hey Carl cheers as ever! I was happy when it worked so well, only issue is stability when climbing between the front unit and Reverse! Lol. I realised afterwards I could set the rear motors up with 100% power and slowly decrease to the front unit with around 80% power when reversing and it would reverse in a straight line perfectly! But steering is interesting!..
I had fun mounting my phone on the back as well! Too much vibration on concrete but it was ok grass ! I now have a new respect for GoPros!
Yes my Lego stock has taken over a room or two!😮 I’m done buying now though… 😀🍺🍺
That camera on the back view would make a fun lil indie game actually
You’re right it would be pretty fun trying to control it 😀
This would be a great veichle for places like the Arctic! You never fail to impress! Also congrats on 30k!
Hey Chris! Thank you so much I’m glad you like it! And thanks for sticking around too cheers! Yeah agree great for that type of terrain!
This one has the cutest design 😊
Awe thank you! My cat doesn’t think so haha 😀
this creation is absolutely epic
Hey there I’m glad you like it, thank you 😀
Nice and funny, great idea with the first stearing the entire vehicle.
Hey there Casper! Thank you very much, I wasn’t too sure how it would work but was relieved when it did. The only issue is the rigidity when climbing 😀
Insanely underrated channel
Cheers Ben that’s much appreciated 😀
I recommend that you put some googly eyes on that! Excited for the next creation!
Lol now everyone’s mentioned caterpillar I should have done! 😀😀
If I could choose to drive any of your cars this would be the one. It looks like fun. I was wondering what you would think of next and didn't see this coming at all
Hey hey thank you! Yeah it’s so fun to drive around my neighbours must think I’m a big kid…
Honestly I didn’t see this model coming either lol😀
Your mocs are always unique and Incredible!! Wow!!
Hey thank you as always! Really appreciate it 😀
I love how GazR has 31k subs and still manages to heart everybodys comments
Hey there thank you for the comment appreciate it! I need to get building again after a break 😀
you have ispired me on 3 different models already! keep up the good work!
Hey there that’s great to hear! And thank you so much I do appreciate it! Cheers😀
Man l love this thing! It's hypnotic to watch it slink it's way around and over the obstacles. The drivetrain is very impressive, I wish I had even just one tenth of your ingenuity. A great build and another great video 👍
Hey Lee thank you once again I did have fun driving this one(it’s getting worrying I can’t imagine what the neighbours think😂)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines 😃
Caterpillar truck!
danm that looks nice the amount of technic parts doe... i have like half of that build XD
I love how ur implementing a wider range of functions and concepts, really goes to show how versatile lego can be
Hey thankyou so much! It really is amazing stuff, I watch so many UA-cam videos and there’s no limit to what some people build with this stuff!
The Rubiks cube solver machine blew my mind!
wow, now thats a lego caterpillar lol!
Haha thank you! I wish I’d made it longer now!
Amazing and crazy super build!I love how smooth it is especially on the pillows!superb build!
Hey dude cheers! I was just so glad it worked lol.
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines yeah LOL
Hey you do some nice models your comment last week was spammed but I did comment!😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines mocs?yea no problem eventhough it got spammed..
Sorry meant on your channel! Or was that spammed aswell grr
Bro , this is so unique !! Awesome ❤
Hey hey! Thank you as always I appreciate the comments 😀
This build looks dope
Hey cheers as always appreciate it😀
3:03: your cat running away from it made me laugh and that build is really cool
Hey thank lol. She was in the long grass they’ve found a mouse nest! I thought she was getting used to these but not this one!
There it is!😂 this thing is hilarious, I love how it looks like a caterpillar when it’s moving, and the cornering is absolutely insane! Also, congrats on 30k subs!!!
Hey cheers Easton! Originally it was going to be a tracked thing specifically designed on a caterpillar! But that golf buggy is using too many motors lol. And thank you as always 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Is it possible to replace the L motor with a XL motor for more TORQUE? 🤔
Hey weirdly the L motor has more torque and a bit more power! Check my treadmill test out if you’ve not seen it😀 I used to use the XLs until I realised this.
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Ah, I've watched that vid before so how about 2 L motors
I’ll look into that! Would be funny in the tug of war! I’ll also see if I can switch the ratios without a big rebuild
Holy cow this looks so cool
Also the bottom angle has a cool look to it as well. I love seeing all the gears and stuff
Hey! First comment
Hey hey! I’m honoured you’re still here watching😀😀 Thank you as always! Glad you like the drivetrain stuff!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines thanks man!
i still remember back when you had 10 subs! now you have over 30k! congrats!
Hey hey Max thank you so much for staying around and commenting! It seems so long ago to me! 😀
And congrats on 30k! what a great achievement!
Cheers Benen I appreciate it! 😀
so cool! its amazing how it steers! :)
Hey hey thank you so much I’m glad you like the steering😀
That is very cool! Good job.
Hey cheers for the comment I’m glad you like it thank you!😀
So unique!!
Hey there thank you very much as always 😀
2:06 it looks pretty good at climbing to me!
Hey there thank you! Yeah it was good at that type but not so the vertical climbs which I do with the others! I had a lot of fun with this one😀
It looks so cool as it’s turning and going over minor obstacles a very cool and unique build
hey there thank you so much I’m glad you like it! it was fun driving it about(big kid here…) 😀
Amazing!
Looks like a wiggler from Mario.
You should probably do a time lapse of every new creation you make
I will work towards this thank you.
Congrats on 30k! This one looks fun to have driving around. Always intrigued what you’ll come up with next. 🍻
Hey Gubsters I’m glad you liked it and thanks for all the comments! I Appreciate it 😀
Great creation man! Its turning radius is just AWESOME. Congrats for this built and for the 30.000 Subs.
Hey there thank you very much for the comment! Really appreciate it! I was do happy when it could turn pretty sharpish 😀
The automation for the steering mechanism along with the differential gears is really neat!
Hey there thank you very much! I was happy it worked so smoothly with the app. I just beat pilotwings again yesterday! A nostalgia day 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Congratulations! That helicopter level is tough 🚁
Haha yeah so fun! Loved the music on that level!
I left my snes with my dad when I was young for a week and he mastered the low flying technique right onto the pad!
I couldn’t believe it, from a rookie to a pro he loved it lol
its soooo cool
Hey there I’m glad you liked it😀😀
Wow cool
Thank you Ramniel :)
It is very satisfying whenever it turns
Hey there thank you! 😀 I did enjoy driving this one! Wish it was twice as long!
Yes u should make it longer and ada more torque but this might make it to slow
Love this creation ❤️💯
Yeah I wanted more torque but I also wanted more speed lol. Only answer would have been two motors in the rear units I guess!
And thank you again for the nice comments Deyon😀
Ok lol 😂
When he has more turntables than you have pieces...
Haha hey JJ! 😀
Круто же!
30k subscribers! Woo Hoo! Good job! I love this build, it's fun, funny, and good at crawling. The steering mechanism is absolutely genius. I love this build, it's one of my favorites so far!
Hey Jared thank you so much I’m glad you liked it😀 I was so glad when the steering worked and it’s quite precise as well to my surprise! Cheers!
Broooo holy shit I did not expect that lol! Looks cool! Could kinda use some suspension tho 😂
Suspension? It’s overrated… lol. I almost did but the thought of adding more parts put me off haha
And cheers dude appreciate it!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines XD lmao and Hi! Sup?
now all you need is an electric rattle :)
😮 look my cat is already scared of it 😂
cool
Hey thanks for the comment I’m glad you like it😀
What if you made this look like a giant centipede/caterpillar? For the centipede's legs you could just make something that looks like the leg with the bottom heavier than the rest and put it on a free bearing and then attach it to the wheel. You could do each one slightly offset so when it goes it looks like the wave centipedes make.
Hey that would be cool! Originally this was going to be tracked and based purely on a centipede/caterpillar. Then I started to think a tracked version wouldn’t quite work as well so did this!
Without realising I failed to notice it still looked like one of those caterpillar rides you get a fun parks etc lol
Now make a butterfly! lol
Lol err my brain just stopped working😂😂 hey btw
You should do this vs the buggy
I needed to change the ratios quite a bit as it was lacking torque, unfortunately it’s now broke now.
I will get back to doing this soon 😀
You can add a another layer on top of it so when it flip upside down it can still going!!!
Hey there that’s a great idea! It may have rolled a few times… 😂
Congrats on 30,000! You totally deserve it. I really love this model, it's pretty satisfying to watch it slither over the ground and obstacles. It reminds me of a Caterpillar! What shall be the name of this one?
Hey there thank you very much! Originally this was going to be a tracked vehicle based on a caterpillar but I wasn’t sure if it would work so tried this way first!
I’m planning a tracked snake and a caterpillar now!
I haven’t thought of a name tbh, unfortunately it may be the only video with it in as it hasn’t enough torque for the tug of war.😀
Was waiting for a upload :)
Hey hey! Thanks for watching and commenting as always 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines all good, also, any update on that fast race car
Not yet I seem to have too many ideas running through my head and this fast car project scares me a bit lol.
If I had a flat bit of tarmac near my house I’d be onto it straight away.
I will build one though definitely, an updated version of the last one and should be a lot quicker😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines oh fair enough, looking forward to it :) btw a treadmill can be a good alternative to a turmac
Hey definitely! My treadmill is on its way out and I have been looking for a new one!
Now I’m gonna start asking for a tonk snake…
Haha the snake is in the works! 😀
:D
I was just looking at a video about the crocodile locomotive before I saw this😂
Congrats on 30k, that was fast. The range of free movement is great, its like a ball joint. Maybe you should call it the creepy-crawly?
I think I’ve watched a few about that! One in the snow I think!
And thank you very much! I wish I had some ball joints it would have made the couplings easier! Lol.
I love the name as well! I will be doing a tracked one which will be better suited to that name 😀
Reminds me of the lcc-1 Sno train
hey thanks for that I’ve just had a good look and read! it really does!
sorry I didn’t get a notification about this comment! I always try to reply 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines now I wanna make the thing but I don’t have parts and I don’t wanna take my shovel and dragline apart
If you wanna see them I have them on my channel, currently not motorized but I will get the motors eventually
Please make a video explaining how you get so many parts for very little money.
Thanks!
Yes please
Hi I buy the big sets 42100 mostly! And sell the parts back I dont need! The sets are worth around 2-3 times more in parts! I buy them second hand off eBay 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines thank you very much! Do you end up making money off selling the parts you don’t want?
I’m still down as I’ve kept a lot of the parts! For example though I bought the 42100 set for £210 and the 7 motors and 2 hubs are worth £150 at least! Then you still have the 4000 odd parts! Tracks are worth a bit, 6 x large actuators are quite a bit etc
I know someone who only sells lego parts as a living! It can be very profitable😀
Very fun caterpillar)) I think you should look at buwizz motors and make some awesome\crazy creation, it will be amusingly )
Hey there thank you very much! I’m sure I will do soon, the power and lack of weight of them helps so much! 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Recently I made a chassis with 9 motors, where were 4 Buwizz motors for motion with two gearboxes. It is noisy and fast\powerfull, you can check it on my channel, maybe it will give some ideas ;)
Oh cool! You’re brave using all that power with a gearbox! I’ll check it out in a bit thank you😀
Name it the brickerpillar
Haha I like it! I am planning a caterpillar tracked one, this was going to be that at first! 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines looking forward to seeing it
@0:20 As it started to weave through those I started imagining little lasers being shot at it from below like "Centipede"! Everytime it gets hit one of the sections just blows up, & vanishes!
Haha like some of the old computer games I played! SNES starwing! Memories 😀
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I'm going WAY back to the days of Atari! Go Pitfall!
Haha oh wow! We grew up playing the Atari 2600! I never played pitfall! I loved the tank multi player battles, space invaders(obviously) those were the days
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines I still remember coming home back in the mid 80's from school & asking if we can play Atari. By the time we got an NES the Super NES was a hit! We were dirt poor so by the time I got something it wasn't cool anymore, but I had a friend who was a spoiled rotten little bastard who lived next door so I was over there all the time instead. I will NEVER forget the day Mario 3 hit the video store & I called & they said they had it, I rode my bike 100mph to the store, hopped off & let it ghost ride & was inside before my bike smashed into the building! Back then in a small town they knew you, knew your parents, and you just used their account. That night though I got to have another friend over and pull an "all-nighter" baby! The only thing I hated was having to "take turns" with my brothers, so my brother just a yr younger & I would tell our kid brother the princess in Mario 1 was down the hole, and then it would be our turn again! Ah, the good ol' days! That was a nice trip down memory lane!
Oh my good that sounds like me and bro when we were kids and lol at the spoilt kid we knew one unfortunately who lived too close!
Thanks for that great read!
I’m a bit younger I think nearly 37… we had the NES after the SNES came out and for Christmas I had Mario 3! (I think it was £60!!!) What a game! I actually played it earlier this year and its still great! Also had f15 game an boyobilly!
Luckily my older brother started playing football all the time so I had plenty of game time!
Hi can i ask what app you use to control your powered up moc's?
Hey there sorry for the late reply, I use Brick controller 2 :)
I haven’t seen the bulldozer in a while, where’d it go?
Hey again! I had to break it up as I gave another big build going 😀
Sir can you make a more powerful chail machine it would be nice :D
Hey sorry what’s a chail machine?
I love the idea of it I'm just curious about how you managed to use differentials at an angle without hearing the nasty clicking noise or is it just the fact that this vehicle is highly underpowered but apart from that I think it was hilarious how you used one old big turning table because you probably hadn't had enough new ones probably no one else noticed
Hey thanks Philip! I love those big turntables as they’re so strong! Ideally it would use ball joints but I haven’t got any…. Oh hang on you noticed one was old!!! I am impressed! I do have plenty of new ones(18 altogether) and I only just realised that one was different but left it! I bought it off eBay with some track ages ago! I’m super impressed lol😀
Those differentials!! No problem with this as it was lacking torque like you say! When they’re used in the 7x5 square piece they can handle a lot of torque! The 4x4 8 tyre from the last video used them with a 35:1 ratio and there was still no clicking!
However when they’re used in Lego’s latest model like the 42129 they can move about a bit due to the locking diff and they can’t put the power through them.
Lol I didn't think the new diffs were any kind of ubgade for vehicles that use them on angle I was just seeing the benefit in the possibility of using them in a linear way but now I'm gonne get some myself but are you planing on making a new improved version with more torque maybe with ball joints and maybe a stopper so the modules don't tip while klimbing or is this it because I still love the concept
They’re slightly better than the old ones like this but I did manage to destroy one in the Volvo 6x6 when I tried a 60:1 ratio! The teeth finally shattered!
There is still an issue with them length ways as you can’t get a beam either side without having that space where the axle can bend
I’d live ball joints and stoppers like you say but I can’t justify them for an improved version so will probably start a new build.
I will try to see if I can switch the gear ratios and put it into the tug of war! Problem for me is if it won I’m shirt of a few parts to make something else haha
Alright plan change I'm gonna be building custom diffs as always but thanks for the info and I'm already looking forward to your next project
Not a bad idea lol. If I can avoid differentials I will at all cost as I like things to work without the fear of breaking.
Wow is look like a worm but car btw make longer now is worm now :)
Haha I’m going to make a snake or worm but using tracks! I ran out of the diffs to make this longer😀 and thankyou!
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines hmm you should bye more but what cost you money?
I will do in the future😀

how do you have so many of them huge wheels?

I’m going to experiment with how much thrust you can make but I can’t see it flying lol.
I will try though 😀

😂 I don’t believe that haha but thanks as always 😀
Needs a gear reduction and more weight then it should be able to pull more weight
Yeah I’ve just been looking to see how easy I can switch them, I may try it in the tug of war😀
how do you use a controller with the powered up hub ???
Hi I use the brick controller 2 app. You connect a PS4 or Xbox Bluetooth controller(or apparently any newish Bluetooth controller) to your smart phone and go from there.
It’s a game changer for powered up:)
@@GazRsExtremeBrickMachines Figured it out it's a third party app
It's called brick controller 2 Incase anyone was wondering
@@donbot5000 hey yes, it’s great once you get used to it :)

Hey crazy! I’m hoping to do tracked snake 😀
So it works like the Army's SUSV.
I think that users hydraulic steering between the two sections? Correct me if I’m wrong!
This works by rotating power between the front wheels.
@GazR's Extreme Brick Machines! Yes, I remembered wrong. I only got to screw around with one once. Hydrolic cylinders push/pull between the two cabs. I had to look it up.
Centipede
😀😀
hay whats happening whit the channel is it still going? or are you on a break
Hey there thanks for the message! It’s still going video tomorrow!
I started building this giant model but then had to get a few more parts so put it on hold!
I’ve been experimenting with different things and have a few models ready to go 😀
Can't wait
Có thể ráp được xe máy không?
wouldn’t this be tank steering?
Hi it’s slightly different as the rear 8 wheels always need to be moving forward so I had to program this torque vectoring in. The wheels are always moving forward 😀
this looks like snake 😂😂😂
