They were just jamming at night when Ryota randomly played those opening notes and it caught Tomoya's attention. "Play that again!" he said, and the rest is history. Kinda sad you cut the very end of the video. Hope you were at least able to see it. I'm sure you noticed the synchronized clapping in the audience but did you notice there were synchronized jumps and fist pumps too?
