Christopher Ward is such a good and fun brand to be a fan of. Everything they make is for a reason and with the good reasons in mind during all the conception and manufacturing process. They are also coherent with the idea of a human scale company trying to deliver the best product with all possible attentions to the most people out there and not just in the hands a few privileged ones. As an exemple, it is magnificent to see the work of a Roger W. Smith or Denis Flageollet, one man handcrafting a watch. It becomes a paradox for me when we realize that all this commitment, simplicity, integrity, passion and humility can only be appreciated in the metal by the wealthiest people on Earth. As a bonus, Christopher ward as a brand is transparent, speaks directly to their customers through their passionate CEO, Mr France, and finally they are easily available. I'm so happy that they exist!

Loved this episode, mostly because I got myself a C65 Dune for my wedding couple of months ago. I cannot stop wearing it. It is a strap monster, looks great on any strap really. The bracelet is also great quality.

As a owner of a c65 sandhurst 2, I can say Christopher Ward as a brand did very well. The case ist perfectly shaped and has a nice complexity, the bracelet is great and a cosc certified movement in this price range is amazing. Mr. France took a lot of good decisions in my opinion, I would say he managed it somehow to transfer his passion to the whole CW team, the are doing a great job, also the service team is superb. Keep on building great watches with this passion CW!!

Lots to look forward to including my Bel Canto in February.I am sanguine about the delay because they are doing something new in the industry and are going to deliver a perfect finish and that takes time.Much to be said for delayed gratification in an impatient age.

I am a personal fan of CW. I think the principles on which the company operates are admirable, and I support it. I am awaiting the delivery of my Bel Canto which I am delighted to wait for (perfection takes time). I think that watch is a horological statement. I also have a C63 Sealander 100 on the way to satiate my hunger while waiting on the Bel Canto. I do hope whatever CW drops at the end of October doesn’t fully trump the Bel Canto. Many of those have not been delivered and it could turn into a “shot in the foot” type situation. Nonetheless, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see what it is! Onward and upward, CW!

I hate that I wasn't able to see them at this summers' Windup Watch Fair Chicago; hopefully, I can make the 2024 edition. They have very clean designs.

The white sand Dune was, and still is, the watch that drew my attention to Christopher Ward. Regrettably I don't yet have the funds to buy one, but I will ... Unless .... Unless CW bring out a White Sand GMT Dune ... Keeping exactly the same amount but with an inner GMT ring and short hand ... That is my dream watch ...

When I bought the New Sandhurst series 2 I was going on the assumption that it had the ETA hope I didn’t make a mistake!!

I hope to buy my first in the near future - fantastic looking watches. The name literally is represented in the logo if you think about it.....apart from the flags.

I REALLY like the Dune lately but man the rest of them are stunners, the 12s, C65s, so many…. Colour coding date windows located in many cases symmetrical.

Teasers are frustrating but intriguing. Trumping the Bel Canto would be a coup so soon afterwards.

I think they need more exciting dials, Bel Canto excepted. I love their cases - especially the C63 lightcatcher case which is admittedly the only one I'm familar with, but the dials are just plain boring for the most part. Get some attractive and interesting dials into the 39mm C63 and these things will sell out. Look at what Grand Seiko are doing is what I mean - get some texture and interest there.

I love this guy but man I just can’t get passed their logo - I hate it. AND it’s crazy to think they actually won an award for that thing!
Best wishes but change your logo and I’m in ❤

The old CW wordmark was problematic but I like their new flag logo. It's pixels to my eye. :) I'd rather they change the company name entirely and didn't put CW anywhere on the watches. And yeah, Mike just seems great and makes me want to buy a watch or five.

I have to laugh - He goes on in quite some length about legibility and how important it is to all of their watches, and then on screen at 6:20 appears one of their watches with a white face and white hands!! (Surely the worst contrast possible?). This guy is so full of marketing waffle, sales patter and hyperbole, he really should be working in a car dealership.

I just don't get the hype. Their design are pure plagiarism coupled with bad proportions and the outcome sums up to "uninteresting and overrated multisource copy"
