Thanks for the tips. Much easier than disassembling the whole top.

Thank you I have this job coming in next week. It didn’t look like I would have much room to play with. You have made it easier for me thanks again. Joe from Boulays Garage. 😎

@@jillybean1108 that's great! Thanks. Are we talking Honda vehicles or small engines?

Blake's Garage Primarily Honda automobiles. Of course working on small engines I’ve been doing that since I was nine years old so just about anything I guess!

Your way is much easier as I notice in my car I can from the bottom instead of taking the engine mount and fuse box!!

How did you get the top right bolt off on water pump

Just did mine, 2008 Acadia, needed to do tensioner/idler pulley, water pump was never done and for $60 bucks pump and dexcool, I went that extra mile. Did everything from top side, didn't pull tire or fender liner. Idler pulley goes through lower alternator bracket, have to loosen alternator and tip sideways 2 remove idler bolt(won't clear fender well if u dont). Yes, kinda sucks with just hand tools, BUT,,can all be done topside.

If you had to do another water pump on an Acadia is is it easier through the bottom or through the top of the vehicle just removing the fuse Box and the motor mount?

Good information. But I must say, it is so irritating to see mechanics put the lug cap face down and use it as a tray. Americas Tire company did that with mine and scratched 2 of them up. The guy that did it replaced them.

Maybe it's because mine is a 2012 but there's no way possible to pull it through the bottom I should have just went through the top this video was a waste of my time absolute BS on the 2012 you cannot pull it out that way

Sorry you chose to waste your time on my free video versus using common sense for your specific application lol.
