Why would I let my hedgehog “nibble on a pizza”???
Thanks for watching! ✨
One thing I've been told about wild (European) hedgehogs in the UK, don't feed them fish. I saw in your video a hedgehog being fed a prawn, that's a no-no according to the British Hedgehog Protection Society.
I live in the UK in a flat where my living room has no windows, just a glass door that if I need ventilation I have to wedge open. I do this and wild hedgehogs decide to come waltzing in. I have a pet cat and his bowl is in this lviing room, so they come in and eat his leftovers! They also have a tendency to poo on my carpet (how's that for an appreciation of my hospitality?)
Hedgies are adorable and I definitely don't mind them coming in, even when I have to clean up after them, but I have been strictly advised - no fish for hedgehogs!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! It's really insightful! ✨
OK WE NEED TO TALK YOUR HEDGEHOG SHOULD NEVER AND MEAN NEVER HIBERNATE IF THEY DO YOUR HOUSE TEMP IS TO COLD AND ALWAYS USE PLASTIC WEELS NOT BARED BECAUSE THEY CAN BREAK THE FEET IN THEM
That doesn’t really make sense. They live in the wild, out in nature, through all seasons, even winter, outdoors. They naturally hibernate. It sounds to me like if their indoor “pet” lifestyle is so artificial that they never experience their natural winter hibernation, they might suffer.
@nattamused9074 I'm sorry but your miss informed the reason a hedghog in captivity can't hibernate is because they can't build up the same amout of fat they do in the wild or get the same amout of range in diet. Because of this they starve if they hibernate in a house. From all sources I've seen nobodys been able to replicate a safe hibernation as a pet
If some of your information in your script are already invalid and wrong for the many reasons as it is, at least understand some states of America aren't countries.
Thanks for watching. You valuable opinion is appreciable!
@@petopedia_do better next time rather than saying Arizona is a country
None of those were countries
Thank you for your comment.
put the narrator on bj duty till she passes geography
BUAHHAHAHSHAHA
You just didn’t think about it the right way
I’m saying
Hedgies are the sweetest. I have an albino little dude. I bring him on the mainfloor when I’m home so he’s not alone and he snuggles near the fireplace. He’s mostly a grump but we let him know how much he’s ❤️’d everyday
Next year i'm going to the great country of Arizona, too bad i can't take my hedgehog with me
Arizona's fantastic, but leaving your hedgehog behind must be tough. Wishing you both the best!
Thank you for this great video. I watched my friends hedgehog named Sonic for a weekend lol. They are sort of shy I noticed.
Glad you enjoyed!
14: They are not that fast runner
15: They are not friends to foxes
16: They can roll into a ball but can't roll as a ball
Thanks for sharing your valuable opinion with us. Stay tuned for more like this.

if they hibernate it means their environment is not fit for them to live in
Yes, you're right. Thanks for adding more facts!
No, if they hibernate, it means it's winter.
I still want a hedgehog on my bday list, no matter how many cons❤Thanks for the info!
Thanks for watching! ✨
I need more about to get on tomorrow
Thanks!
I’m confused do they or do they not require regular vet checkups?
Yes, they do require regular vet checkups. At lease once in six months!
If a hedgehog goes into hibernation it's not Good for them when they wake up they will be weak
Thanks for watching! ✨
How do you pick them up
Carefully scoop them up from underneath, supporting their body. Gentle handling helps them feel safe and comfortable!
Seriously everyone??? I will never understand hatred for no reason. If you did not like the video, stop watching it and move on. This is the whole reason there is so much hatred in the world. Make sure you are 100% perfect before you judge others. Hope you felt better after your little dumb rants. Bless your souls....
I may be getting a hegehog soon and i also have a cat sooooooo is. That ok💀❤
Should you get 2? Would they be more happy with a friend?

How are we supposed to take advice from someome who called different states ,countries
Thanks for watching and constructive criticism!
@@petopedia_8 love your sarcasm
Have you ever played sonic before?
Honestly, haven't got the chance to play this. Hope, will do it soon! 😊
I did when I was little but it was too fast and I had a seizure
Is this video using AI to talk or like do we just call states countries and pronounce actual continents weird for a reason?
Thanks for watching! But we actually use human voice and our team has an actual female voice artist! As a small team, it's really disappointing for us that we're not getting any appreciation for this!
I don't think it's a case of nonappreciation, but rather those of us in the community who care for hedgehogs (for whatever reason we find ourselves doing so), in need of correct information being disseminated. To ensure these amazing creatures have the best possible experience they can.
I don't take issue with details like states being countries, but rather with some small aspects, like feeding a hedgie shrimp, or putting it on a wire wheel, and allowing a pet hedgie to hibernate.
These may seek like small things, but if you have a hog/let in your care, you learn that such things can be a danger for them.
So I think and hope that we all simply seek the same thing... that if we come into the care of one of these amazing creatures, we do in fact do our best to care for it, and not simply see it as an object for our entertainment (which I know OP does not, and seeks to promote as well).
Best regards,
Mikey
@@michaelcarnohan Based answer tbh. Stuff like that infinitely matters more for sure. Poor guy could break a little leg in those things. If that happened here in Ohio they would just put him down. Not way to fix that. :(
Sonic the hedgehog
Thanks for watching! ✨
uhh please don’t let ur PET hedgehog hibernate… it can be lethal to them. Also, the clip of the person spinning the hedgehog on the wheel is very dangerous, don’t promote those clips or the kind of wheel being used, their feet can get stuck in the holes really easily and get hurt.
Do proper research before making “educational” videos.

Wow, how can anyone take this video seriously when they name Arizona and California (just 2 examples) as countries
We totally hear you! Mistakes happen, but our focus is on furry friends, not geography lessons! Thanks for watching! 🐶

WOW THATS MEAN HEDGEHOGS ARE VERY INTELLIGENT
It's people who are stupid.
