As a Brit I can definitely see the English-ness of RMCP outfit. Whoever designed it based it off the queen's guards look.
Canadians are the best!
Best police uniform in the world ever. Bar none and I'm not even Canadian.
I am Canadian
Shamandy Shoe-fly not the only uniform they wear. It’s only for ceremonial things. They have American like police uniforms
Not being Canadian, I would like to know more about the RCMP uniform. This video did not explain it despite the title.
WOW! can't keep my eyes off that uniform!
Nothin' like a shinny pair of High-browns.
The reason they wear redcoats is because back when the British and the French were there the French were treating the local tribes badly however the British were treating them fairly so the tribes said to the mounted police you must wear red and when the brits left it stayed that way
This is the most Canadian thing I’ve ever seen
I was almost a Mountie and still think I should have gone for it. It is Canada like hockey.
I'm Canadian eh?
Why do they dress that way? Tradition. Something the 21st century has forgotten.
Don't want to think of the cost of these boots!
How Much?
Now why can’t our US uniforms look this good? The Canadians have well fitted ones that tend to show off the contours of the figure. Ours tend to use far too much material, are baggy and loose, and makes the person wearing it look ill at ease.
They have their own CHP
Oh...alright. I thought the answer was "because it looks bada**"
Because their men. In tights, tights, tights. Hahahah. Had to do it.
