I love this video...you do all of your videos so well..this sunflower is perfect! you have taken a complicated project and made it so easy to understand and I love how it looks and I am going to do many...thank you so much
I love all your projects. I do a lot of crafts . this is one thing I've always wanted to try. You make me want to get myself a kiln👍🏼
I suspect there is one in your future ... : )
I love the sunflower as a sun catcher :) Beautiful
Hi, I'm five years late seeing your videos. I like them pretty well and the way you narrated them is pretty punny and nice. I believe this one is one of my favorites because it's my favorite flower. I recreated it using different glass and more frit. You have inspired me to actually branch out from stained glass to buying a kiln too. Thank you so much for your inspiration! There needs to be more personable folks like yourself on UA-cam. It was a pleasure watching this video.
Thanks, Charley! See the complete catalog of tutorials at www.glasshoppa.com

Thank you for your videos. I am new to fusing and tried this project. I followed it and overall it came out great except I made the gap for the hanger to big and the gap didn't completely close. I want to fuse a piece on it but am unsure whether I should repeat the second schedule or make adjustments? If you could offer any advice I would greatly appreciate it. This was a gift and I would hate to ruin it.
so beautiful

Thats an interesting way how you cut your circles with a turn table. I do stained and fused glass myself along with the hand painting.
I think the turntable (banding wheel) would come in handy in most any craft ...
Спасибо. Thanks.
아... 넘 멋져요.^^
감사합니다
Hermoso!!¡
Beautiful. What is the size of the sunflower once complete?
Beautiful beautiful l!
Thank you!! Happy to make you one ... ☀️ Thanks! See the complete catalog at www.glasshoppa.com
what size kilns do you have I see you used 2 different kilns. Beautiful thank u
The two kilns in this video are the Skutt GMT10-F and the Skutt Hot Start Pro. skutt.com/glass-kilns/
it would be cool to hang it few inches from the wall and place a lightbulb behind. It would project the colors somehow and make beautiful paterns in the wall
Yes! And offsetting it from the wall projects the colors back onto the wall as well. Give it a try!
Beautiful! Very inspiring. Can I share an idea? What about adding a clear middle circle with a smaller diameter under the brown one so the brown one won't slump down? Just an idea.
So the center would be more rounded on top? I would probably add another clear circle on top to achieve that. A good thought!
I agree. Just tried the sunflower. I am a novice. First real project. Would a smaller diameter of glass under the brown decrease the slump?. What I noticed was the brown center slumped and pulled away from my top row of leaves. Leaving the top row of leaves looking like they were floating unattached from the center. I await advise from the experts.
Thank you very much. I wanted to ask you if the glass only bends with heat or there are some materials

Hmm! This project is very familiar! Great job! Did you use a suction cup hanger on the window? A bit chancey as I remember.😊
LOL! Huge grins ... NO suction cup, this: ua-cam.com/video/J8MwqTgBQP8/v-deo.html
Hi., I tried this and used the alovera gel but it didn't all burn out. Never had that happen before. Any ideas as to why?
BTW thank you fir sharing your creative mind with all of us.
I had that problem once using "Banana Boat" gel but have never failed with "generic" gel, which is what I try to recommend. I get mine at Target. Perfectly fine to use any adhesive you trust ... Sorry you had a problem.

What turn table do you use? Or is it your own set up? I really enjoy the commentary. You’re a natural.
Thanks! Your answer is here: www.glasshoppa.com/FAQ.html
Where did you get your turn table? I'm excited to try this!!!
Try this: www.glasshoppa.com/FAQ.html Have fun!
very cool :) how big is it when done ? ty
Thanks! About 12" diameter ... See the complete catalog of tutorials at www.glasshoppa.com
ok, kinda basic question. What kind of sifter are you using? It looks like something I could buy at Target?
So sorry for the delay ... Yup, you're right.
What kind of glass are you fusing?
Spectrum System 96. It is special sheet glass made for this purpose, available from art glass suppliers.
What type of kiln are you using?
+Sheri Coughlin I use a small kiln made by Skutt. skutt.com/products-page/glassmaster-kilns/firebox-14/
+Glasshoppa Thank-you so much for the information. I have been looking at that one. Which kiln is the first one where you are doing a full fuse with the middle? It appears to have a bead annealing door???
+Sheri Coughlin It's the Skutt GM 10F, The Bead Kiln. Much smaller capacity than the other one.
+Glasshoppa - I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Great information.
