They need to fix the notification sound bug .Even though you change the text tone sound, every notification from third party app sound is annoying
if you disable search on home screen it fixes notification bug lol
same, additionally I don't like the Hapics for it

My keyboard haptics have been pretty inconsistent with the iOS 17 update. I hope they resolve it with a update soon

Ever since upgrading to iOS 17 I’ve noticed when looking at 48mp pictures it takes a few extra seconds for it to process. Before it was almost instantly but now you have to zoom in and out before it loads.
same problem here, I already regret updating to iOS17. Its VERY buggy.

I hope they'll make it available to change the notification sound for app notifications, it's just so quiet and sounds like a call drop so it confuses me a lot of times and a lot of times i dont even hear it, its so frustrating

Does your keyboard often have extra letters when typing fast, like for example (I'm fin"ee", no probl"ee"m) two extra letters when typing fast?
So they've had months with Beta testing and when it comes to the release they still have major problems. This is why I don't update until the next version until a year later!

The safari issue has to be weird issue on the iPhone 15 I don’t use safari only chrome and I have no issues with safari showing up. Maybe it’s an issue after it’s used and closed it doesn’t go away. Definitely that will have to be addressed. I have the 14 plus and I have no issues so far with anything. I do see iOS 17 is a bit buggy in some places. Overall the phone has been running great. I heard durability on the 15 models suck. Some reviewers are saying it’s fragile. Not sure if that is all the models or just the 15 and 15 plus or the titanium models. Thoughts on that? Appreciate the update videos as always.
How do you feel about the 15pro max failing the durability test? Don’t put it in your pocket or try to bend it in anyway that back glass will snap and be shattered.

I’m having trouble with custom ringtones not working with messages an other notification that uses tones the custom ringtones are there for phone calls so they’re there just not working on messages
Question: is iOS 17.0.2 causing older iPhones to heat up unnecessarily, too? I have an iPhone 12 running iOS 16.7 and have trepedation about upgrading to iOS 17.0.2.

What’s your input on iOS 17 that a lot of people are facing issues while updating it the phone gets stuck and doesn’t show the home screen for many users. iPhone screen is not working specially on older phones.

When I get a UA-cam notification it comes in without any sound. Turned off the "Disable sounds and vibrations" in settings and still doesn't work.
iPhone 12 updated to iOS 17 and lost my vibration notifications in silent mode. Also lost any info about changing vibrations in settings. Help!!
I noticed that since the new update, when I get my weekly summary every Monday, my steps & how far I walked all week are no longer in the list of goals. Is there a fix for getting my steps to notify me every week again? Thanks for all of your videos!

My 14 pro max gets hot real fast using the camera app or Halide app when taking half dozen pictures. I'm currently using 17.0.2
I had that direct transfer issue. I ended up setting up the phone as new then updating to 17 then resetting the phone and doing the transfer with both phones now on 17

How much longer do you think XS Max is going to get new updates?
iPhone 13 heats up during long calls after 17.0.2. Before that phone was not heating like it gets now. Any solution or will they get it resolved in next update??
Thankfully my 15 Pro didnt have the transfer bug issue when setting up!
Existing Airpods Pro and other bluetooth devices keeps on disconnecting. Audio from Airpods are getting static sound that will end up crashing Bluetooth option in settings. You need to unpair all yoir bluetooth devices and re-pair it again.
Problem with 11 pro heat up also no sound when getting notifications I’m updated to 17.1 ios

Do you know how far the screen on time goes back? Cause it doesnt seem to count from when it was last charged to say 100%, it would be better to have that so you could better see how much battery life you got from a full charge.

I’m keeping my 14 pro max. Before 17.01 it had been overheating and battery sucked but since that update I’m getting 12-14 hours a day of all day use even tho I only have 89% battery health. Concerned if 17.02 is worth the update?
Aaron, I just got my phone last month- a 14 Pro. I've been seeing a lot of people complain with heating and battery issues with the new update. Did they fix the issue yet? Should I wait for a little while longer? I'm still on 16.7.

On updating to 17.0.2 my iPhone 11 stopped showing wifi and cellular signal on the top right in the Home Screen and Lock Screen. It works properly if I’m in any app but it’s still inconvenient.
Overheating for older devices for ipad & iPhones happens on logic board side. Optimize charging also buggy with iOS 17. It doesnt slowly charge when reach 80%

Go into settings and clear cache and history. That kept happening to me with that app showing up like it does above
Aaron… love your channel!… 17.0.2 is causing issues on my iPhone 14Pro… NPR app stays on even when “closed out” and appears in the island as if it is still running.. and then starts playing sometimes when the NPR app is not even “😮open…? Sometimes my wifi icon doesn’t show and only the 5G bars or vice versa… never had these issues on previous IOS updates…
Can it run 2 apps side by side now ? With all that silicon power ?
Update fixed my air print ability as well as cast to tv freeze.
I upgraded from my iPhone xs to 15 Pro and It does get a little warmer when I run Instagram or youtube for a longer time. I haven’t ran any games so far so I don’t know about that.

I haven’t seen a video if wireless charging your iPhone for a year compare to wired charging. I noticed my battery health is at 98% after a year compared to my iPhone 13 which has been on wireless charger use whenever I need to charge
I’m experiencing volume bugs on bluetooth headphones, sometimes it gets really loud😅 Plus the new apple music “crossfade” feature is not as smooth as I expected. Volume transitions could be better

I’m not seeing any heat issues with my iPhone 15 Pro so far. I am seeing some connectivity problems with Bluetooth, with the Watch app offering to turn on Bluetooth and WiFi for me, even though they were already on, and annoying random disconnects from my AirPods Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro supports WiFi 6e, so I have to wonder whether some of the heat issues might be related to the new modem when using 6GHz WiFi. It seems to work well enough for me though I don’t push mine very hard

Talk to me. Why is in iOS 17 the control center only accessible via swiping down, when I first swiped down the Lock Screen? It used to be a swipe on the right hand corner. I don't get it .
Using iPhone 12 pro. After updating to 17.0.1 phone gets slower. So many bugs as sometime profile pic does not show up in notification. Even sometime icon of apps does not display properly in phone.

I have a battery percentage not changing problem after this update. Although I use the phone at least for half an hour, it seems like I haven’t used it today in the detailed settings menu . Weird 🤔…

Will it prevent battery drain
I have a 12 pro max and have CarPlay issues. Sometimes it works and sometimes it randomly disconnects. Other times I won't connect at all but will charge. It started with 17 and got worse with .2 update. My brother has the same problem with his iPhone in his car. Both our cars use wired CarPlay

There is no startup sound on 15 pro max even though selected. Toogle switch on off but never any and also regarding overheating, mine is doing that just under normal phone call and it get so hot i cant even hold phone by my ear without me sweating. A bug i have is when swiping up to switch apps on the App menu page the background flicks once
What’s interesting on the Mac, the new ringtones and text tones are not showing up on FaceTime and Messages, but then, when I go into the where the ringtones are installed, under private frameworks, then ringtones, then version, then A, I think, they are there. Editing the property plist doesn’t work, even with system and integrity disabled. Not sure what’s going on there. I was trying to edit the property Plist, to add them in there, but it doesn’t allow me to do that, or in other words, it won’t let me save it in that location.
My voice calls has been activated and I don’t know how to cancel it, and if I go to general phone call forwarding it’s turned off???? How to fix it please????
I had the heat issue on day one while running iOS 17 launch date app updates. After that, no more heat issues.
Had issues transferring my cellular data/account to the 15pro max..had to go into T-Mobile for them to transfer the ESIM over 🙄besides that everything’s good
iPad OS 17 and IOS17 update broke somehow the Airdrop file transfer between my IPad Pro (2018) and IPhone SE 2020. Despite clean install and reset both after a clean install constantly get “ Failed” ‘ “Rejected” etc? Is there any way to get roll back to the previous OSs as everything was perfect smooth for me till now. Thank you in advance!

Hi! After updating to the new iOS 17 and further versions, my Payment and Shipping is not working. When I click on Payment and Shipping, the next screen does not load fully and shows blank spaces in place of the various options. I am unable to add funds because of this issue. The bug where AirPod Volume will completely disappear on very low volume levels is so annoying. I listen to Podcast at very low volume levels when I am sleeping and now it doesn’t work anymore because at low sounds levels, the sounds completely disappears.

Hi Aaron, I am on iphone 15 - 17.02 and the left swipe in messages chat screen, it doesn't work. it does not take me back to the previous screen. Wondering if you have faced anything like this.
The heat is an issue for me on my iPhone 15 pro, specially when making a somewhat longer phone calls, 10 minutes phone call in speaker mode made the phone wants to explode 🤯😔 it was very warm to the point it felt uncomfortable to hold. Do you think a software update would fix this issue or is it a hardware issue… I hope not.
Hey dude don’t be worried it’s a soft ware bug the phone is trying to hard on calls and the software has a glitch that’s over raving the processor. Don’t worry about it it will be fixed.

Tons of people are complaining about the heat, the titanium scratching and the weak back glass on the pro max.
With iOS 7.0.1/2 my iPhone 11 Pro doesn't wake up with double tap sometimes. When this happens, I need to wake up it with Siri button. I hope they will fix this bug soon.
