Classic TGV sound coming from the bogies being Jacobs bogies between the carriages. If you listen closely, you can hear it is a different sound at the middle of the consist where there are a bogie on each carriage that makes up the splitting point of the two halves.
@@sjokomelk Every day is a learning day. Yes there is a slight silence in the middle where the 2 halves meet. Perhaps we could sell the sound to Stars Wars team as a new weapon. (Andy: retired audio engineer).
ICE, TGV etc. have pretty ordinary sounds while passing. But this train sounds fantastic. Like a bunch of race cars tied together. Probably the coolest sound amongst trains. 👍
Good to see some of these old steeds still going! Still one of the best noises of any trains, after 30 years in service. Those wires really wobble as they go past don't they!
@@WillsRailAdventures I used to lived within a mile of the Singlewell yard, and watched the line built from first cut to first train, plus the stressy public enquiries before all of that. Loved the 373’s musical woosh woosh wooosh.
Thank you!! As for the location, that is Boxley Tunnel, between Ebbsfleet and Ashford. These are the coordinates (51.3038647, 0.5267464). Hope this helps. 😃
The sound these units make is highly distinctive.

Proud to be French and for this technology for British and European transportation interests. ⭐️🇪🇺⭐️💫
I will always love the sound of the 373 as its going past the noise of the electric turbines at full speed and the air gap between each carriage
This was and still is my favourite train by a mile. Also hate to all train interior reviewer who cant choose one good train.
It is also my favourite and nothing will ever change that.
Yep same here, it kicks ass. 👍🏾
Great captures.
Thanks for uploading 👍🏼

Wonderful the Eurostar at 300 km/H

Zooming Eurostar, that is what I personally would so describe as highspeed perfection.
Looking forward to being on one of these at Christmas on my way to Saxony via Brussels and Frankfurt (Main)
Great upload, really enjoyed it 😊
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
Nice, They were Part Of Your Channel!
Thanks, I just thought to make a compilation of all the 373s I have spotted and put them in one video together for people to watch.
@@WillsRailAdventures Cool!
nice video! best trains ever made
Thanks! I cannot agree more. Amazing trains.
This video is given feeling as differently very beautiful and miracle
view of an experience to me ❤️by Very high speed trains 👍
Love this Train 💞💯
Gran video Excelente un saludo 👋🏻 😊
Gracias!
Can't beat the 'hu-hu-hu' of the Alstom. Wonder if designers were aware they would come out like that?
Awesome
Thanks. 😃
I'm kind of surprised the 373's are still around. I thought most of them were retired in favor of the faster 374 Series train.
8 are still in service mainly due to demand. But for train enthusiasts, glad they are still in service.
Do you mean passengers demand to ride in 373s, or Eurostar haven’t got enough of both types to meet demand?
Mainly for services demand. But none the less, glad they are still in service.

動力集中方式の走行音は素晴らしいね
The person by 1:48
My dad lol 😂
do they still operate these?
Yes, Eurostar will be operating the 373s until at least 2027.
6:04 what's that sticking out at the 3rd coupling?
I believe it’s a rubber seal between the carriages that expands at high speeds.
How fast are they going through this section of track?
186mph/300kmh 👍
Great video! What is the location of the spot at 2:25? Love the wide view you can get.

@@WillsRailAdventures That does indeed - thank you!
No worries!
Will your lucky to see 373s 😥
You’ll see them one day 😀
@@WillsRailAdventures i wont be in the UK in time
They should go back to TGV-style trains! Power cars are much more iconic than EMUs!
Better than F1
2:45 This Train Is 373015 + 373016 Not 373215 + 373216!
Thanks for pointing that out, my bad.
@@WillsRailAdventures Well, I Don't Know The Set Number.
6:16 60km/h ???🤣🤣🤣🤣
Locations are stunning but your camera or mobile holding has shaken badly and while video is shaking in every train pass
That’s mainly down to my tripod being a bit loose. So tightening it up should stop the shaking a bit. But thanks for the feedback.
Class 373 > Class 374
Train looks 🤮
Train sound ❤
how dare you?! it looks divine!
