Today I came across this post of yours Pastor Greg. It made my heart sing! I stopped attending churches (and I did attend many different ones in my 76 yrs of life) because I discerned that they only had parts of the truth. Christ Jesus said that we should ask, seek and knock and we are given. When I started to ask and seek I was led to the the New thought teachings of Emmet Fox, Mary Baker Eddy, Dan Millman, Robert Collier and many others according to my spiritual growth. Every day is an amazing one when I'm grateful and open to all things that I call my adventures in this journey of life. WE ARE LOVE and all things are possible when we don't judge and have a vision of the very best for everyone. Thank you kindred spirit.
It was as I was unable to sleep because I have been so upset by all I see, hear and read that this video message shows up on the top of my suggestion list. I marched FOR so many reasons but I could feel the conflicting energy and it took its toll on me. I have been so busy resisting that I have become despondent, pushing away people I love and causing harm to myself and those closest to me. My goal is to relax into the flow and open my mind. I have a feeling I will be watching this sermon over and over. I am grateful to whomever it was who guided me to it. Peace, Shanti and Shalom.
It was so validating to hear you speak of the march. I am a strong believer in equality for all and wanted to be part of a group of united women however I did not want to give my energy to anything negative. Making the decision not to attend was filled with turmoil but I kept hearing in my mind the words of Mother Teresa about how she refused to march against war but said that she would be there once they were marching for peace. Thanks for all that you do!
Well trump said Norman Vincent Peale convinced him he could do anything and trump convinced the country he could as well whether you like him or not. I remember how he used positive thinking and he did.
Trump is a prime example of how NOT to use New Thought principles. He failed to grasp the preamble to New Thought, which is: no harm to any other human being, everyone is blessed together, no exclusion. Because of this failure, he took New Thought to mean that he could succeed in a selfish way, heedless of his effect on other people, heedless of the need for personal integrity and keeping one's speech faculty pure by only telling the truth. Now it's on us to affirm that all of humanity (including Donald Trump) is the unfolding incarnation of God, no matter what our errors.
