Glad to know since I got both the lavender blush and the quad and my skin is fair but slightly deeper than Jen’s . I haven’t used it yet due to the awful reviews, now I can at least try them. I’m a Chanel lover and was excited to try finally new colors from them
Love the look you created with the eye quad. It does "greenify"your eyes. My eyes were more green a few years ago and now they are a greenish blue. I mean, the whole aging fading thing....aargh. I will prob get this one for the look you created. Great vid, Jen.

Good morning Jennifer! I really liked the way you paired the stylo yeux with each corresponding "pair" in the quad. They all should have been released together rather than piecemeal so that it would be comprehensive rather than fragmented. I'm not purchasing anything from this realease. And yes, green and purple are kind of weird for Chanel, lol. Their most colorful quad that I remember from semi recent history was the Road Movie quad, which was gorgeous! Miss that one!! Immediately went and bought the Divination palette, purple / green nail polish, lavender blush + the berry duo to go with & the Cassis liner. I'm super excited for this one!
I believe combining contrasting colors creates a shade of brown, so the green & ocre colors applied over a white base prior to applying the purples May look more true true to color and pull brighter/less brown.
I tried the lavender blush at chanel counter yesterday. Can tell you, it definitely a blush for pale neutral to cool tone skin, and I bought it immediately. If someone like me who looks great with very light intensity cool tone pink blush or milky color blush, will love the chanel lavender blush. 💜
I love that Chanel is throwing out some young and funky stuff, and the other palette is super neutral so it’s not like they’re ignoring their roots. I have brown eyes, and I think this might be nice. I would also just to the 2 greens, or the 2 purples for the most part, but your right the ochre and dark purple do make something special. But I am a brat about formulas at this price point, so if it was at all difficult, novice level me won’t be able to do it.
Okay, you may have convinced me to try this eyeshadow quad … it’s prettier on your skin than in the pallet. The blush would definitely be a finishing product on me. CHANEL is changing things up … not a bad thing 😊

(I have a similar skin tone as you and I think you would/will? love the Blood Orange blush - the two blushes pair together really well when the lavender is applied as a matte highlighter (it imparts natural-looking volume). The Blood orange blush is much more pigmented than the lavender blush and it blends like a dream.) I like the eye look you created - the absence of glitter makes it daytime/workplace appropriate. Most items in this collection look better in person than online. At all the local Chanel counters in my area, both blushes, the eye quad, the 202 lip shade you featured and the duo tone nail polish all sold out within minutes. I love this collection, I suppose I'm in a minority but I think the eyelook is an editorial look, but that's why I like it. So tired of pinky nudes. I got the palette, the blush. I ordered the orange lip liners and Secrete, and Chanel sent a cancellation email for these even though they are up on the site. Got the polish, hoping they won't cancel that too.

I have dark red hair like you Jennifer and think I would love this quad. It’s beautiful on you. Love that it’s matte. Some say Chanel is marketing to the younger kids; but they don’t go for mattes that much. I think it’s bringing us oldies up to market trends without the frost and glitter older eyes not appreciate. Lol😮❤
😂What market trends though? These colours really aren't trendy... You can argue they are sorta fall and come around each year but they are not on trend overall
As a graphic designer I love, love, love the colour of the eyeshadow palette. It's so pretty, it's so 70s, it's like autumn in a palette. I can't stop looking at it! However, I don't want any of the colours on my face. Haha, how can be something so pretty so unworkable at the same time?

I think nobody can do wonders with this catastrophic colour story.😁 The blush can’t be used as a blush and as a finishing powder can be ok for a limited number of people.Why bother when we have so many great powders on the market? I hope the Holiday collection will be less innovative. 😂 Thanks for sharing!🙂

The Dior is the closest match to the Lavender. Too bad you missed it. It's best used to tone down, or diffuse, other blushes, IMO. This whole collection is a pass for me. Maybe I'll get the green/purple nail color, but that's it. However, you are the first person I've seen who can pull this palette off. Thanks for the video!💚

I think it's too expensive to be used to mix w other blushes. Especially since both products are just dupes of the dozens much cheaper Korean blushes. And several of my Korean drugstore have a better formula. Peripera and Wakemake do it better
I purchased the Nars lavender setting powder and I really enjoy it. I would use that purple blush more as a brightening setting powder too! Thank you for showing it used that way. I agree this collection screams more summer/spring to me 💚💜💚💜 I was super skeptical of this collection but you’ve convinced me to take the plunge if anything this collection encourages me to play with color combinations I never would have tried. The eye quad is definitely not for me. To my mind, the color combination is off putting. However, the blush is gorgeous and a definite purchase. Thanks for the intro and your creativity.

I’d did but it was 35 degrees here that day. I haven’t tried them with a primer yet. How did you find the lip compared to the Matt 31 lipstick ?
@@sharonburr4876 mine didn’t crease but it’s much cooler here in Boston right now! And the lip is drier and less pigmented than the rouge 31. The rouge 31 is amazing for a matte lip

I agree , I’m not a a huge fan of the colours on you, it’s a pretty look , ( well it would be difficult to make your pretty eyes look bad anyway ) but I think the colours don’t do you justice :) I love the new Chanel Matt lipsticks , ridiculous price but I did buy a second shade , not a satin one , lol. Its strange. Many influensers say 1) Harry up to buy because this is soon sold out ir2) many if these items in the collection is sold out. But in my country nothing is sold out. And if i go to their homeopage- nothing is sold out. And my SA said its not a hit. And that must be the reason because now ( read yesterday) they started from Chanel homepage Sending out ” hey- We have a new collection that is now releases! That shows me that someone is starting to notice that there are no rush for this collection! So many that bought it seems very irritated over it too. Hard to work with, give Sad result and very few looks good in it. If they made them singels that would be much better. The quality in the eyeshadows are not as good as the singelshadows. I like that Chanel have colors But We have now for the third time this year got purple green as eyeshadow stylos and even 2 mascaras in purple. I think We are tried of it if you have green or Brown eyes this can works But We with light blue looks silly and dead in it

The moment I saw this Quad, I knew that it could never be worn together or it will look like mud. I was right. Even the crayons don't help at all. Blending these colours together will only result in them looking muddy. For these shades to be used, they need to be done so in an editorial manner, which I doubt anyone has the time nor inclination to do. Massive fail from me. As for what is described as a 'Blush', this must be another joke. Are we sure it's not April, 1st?🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨
This release is so random and disappointing... I'm not sure they have a clear target customer. But I guess they kinda target the Asian market w the blush colours that are so ubiquitous in Korean beauty and shimmery eye sticks. No idea who that quad is for. I think it is simply one of those pieces just made to cause a stir on social media not to be actually liked. Brands release things like that frequently
