Hi friends, What do you think of Les Tarots de Chanel in lavender? Would you wear this blush? :) UPDATE: WATCH MY NEXT VIDEO. I'll show you a new way to use the lavender. You have to see this! I promise it will be worth it! :)
The new Dior Blush & Glow in Dioramour, Which is pale pink and lavender, looks a lot on me like that lilac blush does on you, and I'm B20 right now in Complexion Touch. It might look better if used with the new Chanel matte lavender eye shadow quad. And as you say, it's nice on the eyelids. I haven't figured out when I would wear the Dior IRL. And, having that (unless I return it) I certainly don't need this. Having a blush that is pale, pasty and "spooky" isn't something I'm looking for. Thank you so much for previewing this for the rest of us. I'm thinking the green/purple metallic nail polish may be the only thing I grab from this collection. I've been holding onto Dioramour until I get paler for winter (closer to B10)l But is that just silly? I'm still on the fence, and open to advice.
Yes i Will buy and wear the purple. I am a purple lady
i do not see what complexion you need to have to make the lavender work to be honest. nice product to look like but doesn't work on any skin. even gorgeous one like yours.
No, this won’t work for me 🦄
I love Chanel skin care but I don’t know what happened to the makeup. Not so good
use the lavender blush over or under pink blush that's the way the pros use it
I’m going to skip the entire collection. But, I am excited about their “cream to powder” blushes and holiday collection 🦄🦄🦄
You are the only UA-camr I have seen so far who has managed to swatch the lavender blush properly, thank you
Hi Angela. For me the orange looks beautiful on your skin it is stunning! the lavender did not do much in my opinion but looked ok on the eyes. As always love your reviews. Have a Beautiful day. 🧡🌹🧡🌹
The blood orange suits you better it's Beautiful the lavender looked to pale xx
You look stunning with this lavender blush, it starts to grow on you as the minutes passes by.. so gorgeous with your eyes 🫶🏻🥰
Totally agree regarding the "growing factor" ...😊
Hi Josema, A very special thank you for the kindest words! ❤️️ You always make me smile! I actually found a way to make it look even better. I layered it with another blush and a change in the lipstick made such a huge difference. I am loving it! :) Have a wonderful day! ❤️️
The lavender looks beautiful on your eyelids. It looks pink on your cheeks as far as I can tell.
@@Frenchforaday that’s what I wanted to say! You need another lipstick and match it with their eye shadow of the same collection and you will look great. Being adventurous on new colors is what Chanel wants us to do! It will work.
Hi Angela, I'm on the fence with the lavender blush. I think it is going to give a white cast on medium to dark skin. It is pretty on the eyes but I probably wouldn't use it much. The burnt orange is prettier. Overall, I have to say that this collection is not my favorite. It's okay since I can't afford to buy every release. Some people will love this collection and that's fun. I look forward to seeing all of the looks that everyone comes up with. I really liked the Harmony blushes that Chanel came out with last fall. I'm looking forward to using my Beige Rose & Mauve again this fall. It would be nice to actually pan a blush. 😂
Hi Angela! Maybe the lavender blush is a blush ajuster to cool other blushes underneath ? Or a soft veil of lilac powder to cool the complexion? 🙏🫶🌸 And you look gorgeous as always
I have a very similar Korean blush and I use it like that... Brightening up the complexion or adjusting other blushes. It works very well to make other blushes appear softer and more pastel or just cool them down. Definitely only easy to use for fair skin.
@@EXOmakemeHorololo thank you a lot for such an advice 🌸
That's so true! And I will show in my next video. Today I used it together with another blush and I got a few compliments. Also, let's face it - I started the video with a bright lipstick that doesn't suit this blush color in particular but this was the first test :) I wanted to explore. :) ❤️️
@@Frenchforaday and it was a great experience ! 🙏💕😉 I really think it’s a great blush to add some uniqueness to any blush underneath especially if the texture of this Chanel blush is blurring on the skin :) sort of bringing the blush to another supérieur level ☺️
Or maybe even mixing the Orange flame with the Lavender to customize your own color changing the warmth and the coolness depending on your other makeup or your mood! There are endless options with these too colors I think 🫶🌷 And e real fresh air to the Chanel collection !
I can't understand paying more money for another blush to cool down other blushes it gets expensive
Dior also have a lilac/lavender blush (as well as lip balm and oil). They are beautiful and seen to have more color payoff than Chanel? Hard to tell on video. Thank you for sharing g and you look beautiful as always!!🙏🏻
Hello Angela! I have to agree with the rest in the comments, you look stunning with the lavender one on the face! It would be nice over a pink berry or a more rosewood blush. I also think it brightens the face, the high points at least. I have seen make up artists especially based in Asia using those shades that way. Hope it helps giving you ideas.
I love the lavender blush and I am so happy I picked it up.
I already own a few different lavender blushes in different finishes which I really like so I don't need it. I find the blood orange very lovely 😊I like fruity orange shades in fall. I always have to be careful to avoid oranges w too much brown or red that make me look dull and are too dark on me but a proper fresh orange makes me happy.
I think both blushes look good on you. The lavender blush is throwing you off because of your lipstick color. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. 💯✌🏽
That's true, Angie! But this often happens with first impression videos. Watch my next video because I actually found a way to make the lavender look stunning! Today I got a few compliments. This product has a learning curve but it can be gorgeous if used correctly. xoxo
Interesting review. Looks lovely on your eyes. I can definitively not wear lavender, but if the formula is exceptionally good I might be interested in the orange
I want the lavender blush. I thought it looked beautiful on your eyes.
Thanks for the fast review! I just saw it online on the Netherlands website. I am going to pass. I also have very fair skin, but I would only use it like 3 times I think, it’s not the most flattering shade, not even on fair skin. I have the Dior one, and that’s enough I think. I also dislike the fortune telling theme, it’s not really spooky. And the promo photos of the makeup look with all the products on the website…. To me it just looks ugly. Compared to last fall collection, huge disappointment for me, I love fall!!! Can’t wait for the new Hermes lipsticks :)
The lavender way to pale on you you need colour like the second one which brought life to your beautiful face
I love the lavender on you! It is very unique and I think the tarot theme is very creative! 💜💜💜
That Lavender colour is beautiful, when you put eyeliner and mascara on I’m sure it will be gorgeous 😊😊😊
I’ll be interested to see how Chanel promotes the lavender blush in photos . Love the blood orange blush, and I love the lavender blush on your eyes.
They are probably going to be photo shopped
@@Jen.tarren probably but it will be interesting. I’m a photographer so I can usually see past photoshopping . I wouldn’t buy the lavender anyway, it wouldnt suit me , I am curious to see it used though .:):
They used it on Vittoria as a light contour but Vittoria's skin is two shades deeper than mine so photoshop was used to make the lavender pop a bit more. I'll copy a link to Chanel France. You can see the promo photo there: www.chanel.com/fr/maquillage/collection-automne-hiver/ You should be able to see the photo here.
@@Frenchforaday thank you , imo the only photo it looks nice to me is the last one where they have obviously used a bit of a pink toned blush as well. Otherwise it looks strange to me almost like stage makeup for a ballerina . It looks gorgeous on them all as eyeshadow . And yes they are all extremely photoshopped , even babies have more expression lines than that, they all look like plastic dolls . But that’s marketing .
I think the lavender looks beautiful with your coloring. It gives an ethereal quality to your face.
I would look like a ghost with that lavender. Looks lovely on your eyes though ❤
😂 The Adam's Family! You are funny! Personnaly, I wouldn't wear
it. But on your eyes it's really nice!
I actually love the new Comete perfume. It smells really pretty. Pricey. I think some luxury companies are gearing towards the younger women (30’s) up. It’s bolder colors, or pops of colors. Even the Gucci pucci collab. These Chanel pops of colors. Smart marketing
I love colors like this because it cancels out warm tones. I've been waiting for so long for these cool toned light shades. It will also mute out blush that's to pigmented or bright+
I really like it on you. Just need a softer lipstick color. But when you added it to your eyes it pulled the look together
Hi Angela 👋❤️🌹 Wishing you a lovely day ✨️ Always lovely to hear your thoughts & see your ideas xx ☕️❤️🥰
Lavender seems to be all the rage right now. NARS came out with a lavender brightening powder, and it does have a brightening effect on the face, as well as when you use it on your eyes. The blood orange blush is stunning, and I think it will look good on a variety of skin tones. The lavender blush will only look good on fair complexions. I’m going to pass on this myself, but I’m really glad that it works for you. I need a bit of shimmer in my makeup.
Thank you Angela! So happy that Chanel improved the quality of their blushes. Lavender looked very nice on you, but blood orange was just stunning - it suits your complexion so well!
Hi Angela, The blushes look beautiful on you🤩 I am definitely interested. I will have to go to Chanel boutique and try them out . I love your videos ❤😘
I would be curious to see what happens if you use the lavender blush almost as a very subtle contour. Seems like a nice cool shade to create a subtle shadow under your cheekbone with fair skin!
Fantastic close ups of the products, thank you. I’ve gone and ordered both blushes now. They both look beautiful on you x
My experience with mature, oily/fair skin is that oils and faded tan start adding a sallow yellow tendency. A brightener like niacinamide etc. helps, but so does lavender powder. I would use it all over like the Dior Lavender face powder.
That's exactly what I'm planning to so tomorrow. Actually a few people suggested that in Asia such powders are used intentionally to add volume to the face and under the eyes too. I can't wait to try tomorrow. ❤️️
I am so excited for this to be available in the US. I love both the colors. The lavender is beautiful and such a nice spooky fall look.
I loved both blushes on you, Angela! So gorgeous as always! The Clairvoyance Fall Makeup collection is beautiful, but I think it is a bit out there for some people. I love lavender 🪻blushes, so this is right up my alley. It does make a great base for other blushes as others in the community have mentioned. Thank you, thank you for your insight, Angela! I hope Angela and all of you have a great weekend! 😊🪻🍊💜🧡💄🤩
I am so excited about this collection. I hope I can get most of it, and I'm so grateful that you did this video. Thank you so much.
The lavender looked white ghostly to light for you the coral is much better it seems to be a odd combination for fall Personally I have not been impressed with Chanel for some time
I agree with you I am liking Dior at present
I love that lavender! I want it so much even though it would look terrible on me with my skin tone. A part of me wants to buy just to have and not use because it’s soooo pretty.
I think the lavender was pretty on you, but with a softer, neutral, your lips but better lipstick it would amazing 😀
Hi Anadel, That's true! The lip color was so wrong to start off with BUT the lavender has a learning curve. Watch my next video. I will show some tricks :) ❤️️ I hope to see you again in the comments. Have a wonderful day!
@@Frenchforaday ooh, I’m looking forward to your next video already!
Clairvoyance and tarot call my name. Love this theme. The lavender blush is beautiful on you 👌👌 as you have fair skin. So it’s not for me. 😊 The other shade also looks beautiful but not unique and personally I usually love some sheen to my blush. So I will wait to see and try it in a boutique first.
I agree with you totally on these Angela. I would love to have both, especially the lavender and would love to see the eye shadow palettes
Hi Maddy ❤️️ Thank you so much for watching my video! :)
I love the lavendel blush
Watch my next video :) It looks even better when used correctly. I found a way to make it look gorgeous :) Have a great day! ❤️️
I am sold as well! Just waiting to get my hands on it!
I think the lavender is flattering on you…I’d have you do a smokey brown eye and Chanel Boy lippy with neutral clothing…and hair down!
Angela, I thought the lavender was a waste of money until you tried it. You look great with it! I don't think it gives you a spooky look, it would be amazing in winter for you. Keep using it!!!
Hi Angela! Thank you for demoing and reviewing both of Chanel’s fall collection blushes. I was surprised to see that the lavender shade is practically invisible on you - I am very glad that the blood orange shade looks much better than I expected. It appears that this collection has been designed exclusively for people with very-fair-to-fair skin tones. I look forward to seeing the purple and green eye quad on you. The other quad reminds me of the Méditerranée quad from a few years ago - which I declutterred because it didn’t suit me. Thanks again.
I personally think the lavender is meant to be a base blush for the orange.
That is an interesting take on this collection...I like that!
I guess this lavender shade going to look pretty good in a goth inspired concept. Very pale base deep purple lips, or pale lilac lips and smoky purple eyes.
Hello my dear. I will definitely get the lavender blush. And it looks very beautiful on the eyes. Have no idea whe it will be available here in US. But I am calling my S A and ask her to save me one. As I have mentioned before I am very fair with cool undertone. Hope you are most rested and studying eye hard. A big hug and lots of love. ❤😊😊
wow finally brands brought back lavender💜💜💜 thanks you so much for early review. first i thougt im not goibg to buy it if its not hightlighter bur after your review i absolutely need it.
Hi Angela. For me the color Lavender is very special and I like it very much. The orange nice but we've seen it before in various cosmetic brands. Lavender is one of my choices if I decided to get one of the two. ❤
What do I think of Les Tarots de Chanel released as part of their autumn 2024 collection?
Not much. 🙁 Firstly, these two shades seem to be rather odd for an autumnal feel. Lavender is usually a spring-like colour and the coral shade is more summer-like than autumn. While lavender is an unusual and unique shade for a blush, I personally don't find it attractive or appealing. Based on your video, It does seem to give off an ethereal look to the cheek, but is that something one would want to have for a complexion? I'm not sure. Is this is a shade that could be used to enhance a blush colour worn under or over another shade? Interestingly enough, Hourglass has an unusually pretty blush called 'Sublime Flush' that is a combination of lavender and peachy-pink that offers a lovely luminescent glow, but that may also be because of its formula. Secondly, while the lavender blush looks pretty on the eyes, I would not purchase a blush just for that. (Didn't Dior just come out with a single shadow lavender shade?) While the 'Blood Orange' shade is also pretty, I have so many shades in this coral, peachy shade range that are just as pretty if not more so. For example. My latest purchase of Chanticaille's limited edition Sunstone Radiant blush in 'Energy', which is exquisite by the way, is one of the prettiest, subtle corals I have seen in a while.. So bottom line, while curious, and I am thankful you did a review, with so many, many, blushers that have come out this year, and with the amount that I have added to my collection already, there is nothing with these two shades that would entice me to purchase them. Chanel's autumn winter line up of last year, Les Beiges 'Mauve Glacé', 'Rose Polaire' and the recent release of the limited edition of Jardin Imaginaire 'Light & Berry' and 'Gold & Peach' (which I may even purchase a back-up of each), will be the blushes that I will continue to enjoy from Chanel as we transition seasons. These two Tarots de Chanel will be a pass for me.
I just got the sunstone from chantecaille and I agree, it is gorgeous - I got the lighter pink one, though both looked exactly the same on my fair skin tone - it’s amazing -
@@vwiccy I'm thinking of getting the pink one too. They are so tiny in size and so expensive, but at least there is satisfaction and joy when using the product. By the way, the Sunstone Bronzer is also beautiful, and its cool tone suits my light-med neutral complexion.
I likr the lavender it"s looks interesting
Hỏi Angela, I will skip on these blushes. I don’t think lavender or orange colors will look good on me. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for showcasing this. I love that shade of lavender and it looks good on you. I would like it better if it were a bit more intense. I'll have to see it for myself hopefully if I can find it!
Hi Angela, Thank you for your review, I'll be skipping these, not my cup of tea at all. Take care. Gill 🇬🇧 xoxo ❤
Hi Angela, you look gorgeous as usual but I prefer pink colors on you and lavendar is quite beautiful with your blue eyes and dark hair , Disney should of chosen you instead of Rachel Zegler for their 2025 Snow White version, she has dark brown eyes !
Very disappointed!😩😢Thank you!❤
Hi Tatjana, Please watch my next video too. I found a way to make the lavender look really nice. I will show other new makeup products too (not Chanel) but I would love to see you again in the comments :) Have a wonderful day! ❤️️
Beautiful Angela 10! Lavender (love to see in the winter with a different lip) 10! Orange, giving cute sunburn vibes! I would put a little over your nose!
I think that the first one is good for deep skin
From what I saw on the UK web site the eyeshadows are all talc-based, with talc as the very first ingredient. Kind of surprising as Chanel has been getting away from talc in the last several years. The blushes are talc-free.
Cool lavender cheek colours look the best on anyone who is an olive neutral, no matter if it is for fair or deep skin. It is very hard to apply at first, because you will see on every face the placement will be different and it can very quickly look weird instead of otherwordly-flattering. Generally I would recommend lightly, but firmly buffing it unto the skin, like a finishing powder. It'll make the face look more alive, not spooky.
What we perceived here is what we've seen in spooky films, whenever we are shown someone dead, who has perfect skin - that's why we associate it with spooky. It is surreal how clear one's complexion becomes. No emotions coming through, just a clear face.
Suqqu has done this before, but theirs were more powdery and with silver sparkle, which was an admirable attempt for a limited audience.
For such an expensive product (it will prob be AUD110 when it releases here) we should not have to work so hard to make the lavender blush work for us??? I’m happy to save my money by passing on this entire collection. Appreciate your review as always, Thanks Angela 🙂
I love the lavender blush. Hope it become available in Canada.
I really lik your nail polish
Both colours are gorgeous on you. ❤ I’m looking forward to seeing this collection. Any idea what the lipsticks are going to be like?
Channel was once my favorite cosmetic brand. I truly looked forward to the release of new collections but now I am so disappointed in what I had purchased and it is easy to pass on this collection. Non merci!
I agree with you
From the video, they look both good on you. I just would like them on me 😊 and then figure out how much I like them.
Hi! I would like to know the lipstick did you use in this video. I really like the colour! Thanks.
Hi Carolina, Could you please have a look at the description. It's a Chanel lipstick. I wrote the shade number there.
@@Frenchforaday Thank you.
Ahh those are tarot cards? 🔮😱 I thought it was playing cards on those blushes. This is a hot pass for me 😱 I was going to get one but no no thank you now
I love Chanel, but I don't like this colours. We'll see, whats coming next.
Oh dear. For some reason this made me cross. I’d just been dealing with people at my local food bank. We are facing cuts for benefits in my country and people were desperate. Not the right time to viewing these very self indulgent products which will be discarded before finished. 😥. They are I think very limited in use and I didn’t like them at all, because I don’t see them functional away from the studio . Of course people can spend their money in any way they choose but sometimes life highlights how fortunate some are while others just as deserving are not. Today much as I love Chanel products it wasn’t my day to love them.
Bad colors for a big price. What has happened to
The first one looks like items from Korea, but they are cheaper 😅 I wanted to buy the second pallet, but now I don’t think so, it looks like my old ones. I need something different. Still it’s pretty
Lavender unique but not good .
Watch my next video. I will show a couple of tips and tricks on how to use it. The blush works but it has a learning curve :) I think for most people it can't be used alone.
What has happened to Chanel?
Hi Judy, Watch my next video. The lavender in particular has a learning curve. I will show how it is supposed to be used. It's actually very nice. But I also will show a few other new makeup products - not Chanel :) I hope to see you in the next video. Have a great day! xoxo
My beautiful Soulmate, i personally love the LAVENDER on your pretty snow white face...i always tend to orange tones, but the lavender seems to be the more outstanding/special shade...😊💜
I have been a LOYAL Chanel beauty person for decades - but this collection is questionable. The lavender looks nice but it would look ashy on anyone without fair skin. I love fair skin products because most have way too much pigment and it’s easy to look like a clown. Strangely I like the blood orange, which I hardly ever go for.
How could they do it to Chanel?? 😭😭
I think the lavender blush looks very dry on your face. It is fine on the eyes, but I think I will pass on both blushes.
Decorte has a cream lavender blush.
What is the price of the blushes 💜🧡
I would love to buy these blushes. Hopefully I will be able to buy them on other retailers as chanel doesn't ship to Ireland, why not I don’t know but it's really annoying 😑 😒
I'm a older lady medium to dark skin the 1st one would be awful on me and its very light on you the orange is nice both are a no for me
Not sure I would call that spooky. I really think I like that. We do not hav3 it out yet in Canada but soon. I will pass on the quads not my cup of tea but there is something about that lilac I like. I am not an orange girl ever so it is a hard no for me.
Sorry, the lavender looks lovely on the eye but on the cheek it seems corpse like.
The color of your top (strong blues and pink) have nothing to do with the colors of the blushes you are trying. The same for the color of lipstick. This way is hard to see the potential of the new blushes, it's too much going on
May I make a suggestion that you may want to wear clothing that does not clash with the colors you are demonstrating. The top is pretty but it is distracting when we are trying to see the exact colors of the products. If you were showcasing a cool pink color it would be complimentary. Otherwise I enjoyed the video and appreciate the introduction to the Clairvoyance collection.
I am with some of the others on this the coral is nice the lavender to pale Someone with very white skin could wear it you look nice with the coral chanel has been going down hill for some time now disappointed as I have been a long time Chanel customer
I don’t like the collection and will skip it.
I thought the lavender would be beautiful but it’s not you’re right it’s a dead color.
Normally I'm very interested in new chanel products, indeed. But the horrible tarot cards and what they represent ticks me off. Totally. You can say words matter, and definitely symbols matter. More than l little spooky. The spiritual world is real.
Eww! That lavender ia hard NO! orange looks good on you
Sorry to say…but this new collection is not appealing to me at all…I sure hope Holiday collection is better! 14:33
Not keen on these they need people with experience and mature for the makeup chanel makeup has been terrible for a while more for the younger generation. Chanel lipsticks are still Beautiful. Much nicer luxury makeup available.
Awful collection 😣🙅🏻♀️ a complete NO from me 🤦🏻♀️
That orange 🤮
