Specter of Death Akechi version is the best for me. It fits the mood of Hideyoshi fighting to avenge Nobunaga but also lamenting having to kill a friend in Mitsuhide.
Specter of death (Hashiba) was full of emotion, too emotional perhaps. I could'nt hold my tears just by listening to this, it just seems you can feel all of Mitsuhide's despair and sorrow😢
All these themes are great in their own way except SW2. Didn't even REALISE Yamazaki had a unique theme in that game until this video, it sounds sooo generic
@@frl6683 A lot of unique themes get that treatment in SW2. After a minute or so, one or more events are triggered and stage-exclusive themes are replaced by "generic" themes like losing or annihilation themes. I remember playing PC version of SW2 in Sekigahara and things go down really fast as the game doesn't give me any chance to prevent Hideaki's betrayal. So, Sekigahara's theme is almost immediately replaced.

When you go straight to Hideyoshi's main camp then go straight up to Mount Tenno. quickest way to win in my opinion.

Nah, it bops.
If I remember, that theme only played for a minute or so before a cutscene triggered something else.

It took me years to warm up to the sw2 yamazaki now I actually do appreciate it
SW2>SWK>SW5 H >SW4>SW5 A > SW3 >SW
