At the end of grandslams serena would have over 80 and 90 or over a 100 aces and no one would talk about it these other women will hit 30 or 40 something aces the whole tournament and then everyone is suddenly impressed it's just disrespectful to the Queen honestly cause they not even close
omg spill
LOUDER
She is a black woman often black women are overlooked for just how great they are. I saw people on twitter praising iga for returning a men’s serve hit at 197kph lmfao like Serena didn’t return a whole 137mph serve and hit a winner
@@Official.tadiwa it really sucks and serena has done that so many times in her career and gets no praise
@@relatableguy2517 What?
US media‘s noses are brown from crawling up Serena‘s ass!
I never tire of seeing that serve
Why are people bringing up Graf, or trying to compare different situations and wondering about 'what if's'.
Serena's serve is the most lethal shot in the history of women's tennis, if not tennis overall.
It gave her such an advantage, and it was the shot that dug her out of so many holes.
The power, accuracy and disguise is phenomenal.
102 Aces during the 2012 Wimbledon Championships
89 Aces during the 2010 Wimbledon Championships
72 Aces during the 2009 Wimbledon Championships
88 aces AO 2015
The 2010 Wimbledon serve was crazy good. Straight sets the whole tournament, and still found a way to hit 89 aces.
OMG!! The female that will exceed the greatness of SERENA has not been born yet…KNOW THIS!! Oh and let’s not forget to acknowledge the FASHION she brought to the game. Nobody was EVER wearing the same outfit she had on. Australian Open 2023 so many females on court wearing the exact same outfit…YIKES!! 🥴🤦🏽♀️
I know. It makes it less exciting. Maria, Venus, Roger, Rafa, and Serena understood the importance of fashion as an element of entertainment for the sport. It is a small part of tennis, but I think an important one. Players today don’t understand it I guess. Tennis is definitely a tiny bit more boring because of the loss of this aspect these days.
Those athlete on same outfit like Emma, Azarenka, Tiafoe, etc were all sponsored by Nike. I trust if it was Serena, since she's sponsored by Nike as well, she'd had made the outfit more interesting...
I really miss her on tour. Tennis is not the same without Serena
@@judechiaha5923 …correction! Although Serena was sponsored by Nike, she had creative liberty to design her own outfits, which is why NOBODY WAS EVER wearing the same thing she was. That’s G.O.A.T POWER MOVE!! ✊🏽
Fashion for ghetto queens.
But else?
@@carrerau7138 oh no, another racist. I’m shocked.
The sound of the aces on grass is so awesome🙌🏼
Yaaas Serena, they aint even suppose to see da Ball!!! Ace them right on home!
Queen of Aces
We well never see a greater serve in women's tennis.
Steffi Graf is the greatest server in women’s tennis.
@@akizaizinskii steffi IS 22 grand slam in open era, serena IS 23, so serena IS better and not IS just that, she always was better than steffi, i mean steffi IS good but serena was better and that shows in Indian Wells final 1999
@@thisp666 Serena only won ONE more Slam despite playing for TWELVE years longer.
Steffi won the Calendar Slam in 1988, something Serena was never able to accomplish. She also has more weeks at #1 (all time record), more YE #1 (all time record), more titles despite playing way less tournaments than Serena, higher win %, more WTA 1000 titles, more top 5 wins, more top 10 wins, she’s the only player ever to win all Slams 4 times and the only player ever to win 6 Slams on all surfaces, etc.
One more Slam isn’t enough for Serena to be better than Steffi. Steffi won a lot more than Serena, had a higher peak and was more consistent. And if you wanna talk about Indian Wells 1999, Steffi beat Serena twice in 1999, in Hong Kong and Sydney.
🤮@@akizaizinskii
@@akizaizinskii What is your basis for saying that? Other than just liking Steffi. Serena's serve was harder and she had objectively more variety/spin. She hit far more aces on average than Steffi. I'm interested to hear why you think Steffi's was better.
That was crazy and I loved it!
That serve was so decisive in so many matches, like the final against Angie. Such a beauty to watch
Salute to Serena Williams 🏆❤️🎾💯
Wimbledon 2012, Serena hits more aces then any finalist that year at Wimbledon, yea incl men, period.
Thank you for taking the time to sort and edit these videos.😊 You're the real G.O.A.T
The aces is what was missing Vs Osaka & Bianca!! Her serve was on but not on like it is in these finals!
nerves got in the way of getting 24 which is crazy because she was known for destroying her opponent in the finals smh she could have easily won 25 majors
@@malcolmnorman5694 all four of those majors after pregnancy was hers to lose
@@MrCreative242 true that
@@MrCreative242 I definitely agree. Her serve was on but her surprisingly her backhand was so off and her feet weren’t moving. I thought the US Open final against Bianca was in the bag she was smoking the competition.
Pete Sampras famously said Serena has no idea where her serves are going 😅. Not only is her serve the single greatest in the history of women's tennis but she is the best clutch server ever. Period. Her motion is deceptively simple with the best most consistent toss. Same toss, multiple serve slots. No head movement and forward body pitch. The simplicity is why its so bloody good: when under pressure less moving parts to go arwy. She looks at opponet without moving head adding to the deception.
😂😂😂 at Kerber getting frustrated at Serena's serve
90% aces down the T
Earlier on in her career, she seemed to prefer the out wide serve on deuce side. Later, she seemed to prefer down the T.
That’s because the one they feared was the one to the outside. So they were often leaning that way. Even if they knew she was going down the T they had to be quick off the mark to get it.
She has the greatest serve in the history of women's tennis. What makes her numbers impressive is the fact that almost every top player in the 2000s and beyond was an aggressive returner of serve. From Venus Williams, Kim Clijsters, Justine Henin, Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka, Angelique Kerber and a host of others. Even the players outside the top 50 are aggressive returners, so if you don't land a great serve, it's over for you. Serena saw this first hand when Petra Kvitova destroyed her at Madrid in 2015. She went for broke on some big second serves from Serena. Modern tennis is very unforgiving.
Again there’s Serena! Queen 👸🏾🎾🎾🎾🎾the goat 🐐!! Then there’s everybody elseeeee😘lol just sayin boo
What's most impressive is when u looking at who she's hitting aces on in these matches, most of these ladies are 6 feet tall.
The umpire for the 2009 Wimbledon final has such a nice voice like...she should be a full time announcer or something
Such a great serve Serena Williams 😅😅
Facing so many challenges now. Having faith in God. But it's Serena's mental health that keeps me going. I am like if she can do it. So I can. One day I will come to this and be like hell yeah I did with her help. Winning is not an option
I never watched a single womens match since she retired. Crowds are down at womens matches.
Service games won across their career:
1. Steffi Graf - 89.21%
2. Serena Williams - 81.53%
Steffi Graf is the service queen!
Lol, this doesn't mean anything. The game changed a lot, Graf didn't exactly have to face many great returners. The women are so much more athletic right now.
@@orbitalwarrior Don't bother explaining. It's very evident for all to see. They won't accept it
One name, monica seles
Do y'all think that she will be back for Wimbledon? I have a feeling that she's going to train with Renee and come back for Wimbledon..
Attention black community where taking are talents to Swimming we can all agree that we took over everything else 😈🥊🏆👽
If serenda had not follow the entertainment nonsense and paid attention vto chrissy everet advice she would have had 30 or more slams she lost 3 years of good tennis doing non tennis things.
Exactly... She didn't realize it until after she came back from being pregnant.... That pregnancy took something away from her.
True. She had many opportunities, but gotta respect her for coming back and still be competitive while being a full time mom and had many other things to focus on.
Navratilova and Graf would have about the same ace numbers with modern racquets. Especially against today‘s double-handed backhands with their limited reach.
Ever watched A Graf or navatralova match .it looks like club tennis compare to some of today's hitters
@@wilcoxdaniel9825 And why should that be the case, son?
How come an inexperienced Serena Williams served better than Steffi in 1999 Indian wells finals when they were using rackets from the same era? All 3 are great and unique in their own way. Comments like this are very shocking
@@kofipokuantwi-boateng5446 Compare both rackets!
Serena already used a modern widebody, Steffi still a conventional racket.
Such bs being said by an oblivious Serena hater yet again. A fetus Serena hit more aces against Steffi than Steffi hit against her in the Evert Cup final. You can’t be this dumb to go, “but.. but… Serena had a wider framed racket!” So? That was Steffi’s problem. You think having a wider frame racket automatically makes your serves that much better? If it does, Steffi was a complete DELUSIONAL woman to keep on playing with a “wooden” racket, as you would state. You’re reaching too much. Watch out for stretch marks.
Well the way how them commentators get on sabalenkà had 18 aces I taught no other women tennis player had never done that these people full or tata
