Wow.. Thanks for a great video. Haven't done any marbling yet but I'm refurbishing some old fishing rods. Think I'll start with something simple and when I've got more experience will give the waves ago. Thanks again and I've subscribed 😎😎

Hey Carl, great looking rod mate. I'm doing an 8-foot rod similar to your style, although not in a wave action. I've gone for a white over the top of 2 tones of blue pearl, with scattered gold flecks along the whole blank. I'm looking for a cracked granite and marble effect. It's a long process but the result looks pretty cool so far. Keep up the good work. Chris from Australia

This Looks great. How you would proceed on a white Glassblank? Kindely

    • @DIYeasycrafts

Im not really sure but guess you would have to add a base coat of brown to act as the sand . Let it dry and then do the waves as in the video. Only ting I would have to think about is the transisition from the brown to the white rod. Would probably do a thread wrap to match the guide wrap.

@@DIYeasycrafts thx. Probably i will act without sand. Just Marine Blue, green, Turquise and white. Thats my idea.

I dont know hiw all your colors didnt just blend together overnight. Ive done 5 rods and they always blend. Im going to let my base coat thicken a little this time befire adding my detail. This was a beautiful video and result. Thank you!
