    Wow after having build a regular type ( chlorinated ) pool I see this video. We are on top of a small mountain with a circular view. My wife is a farmer at heart and I know this would have suited her style much better than what we have. Fantastic - - garden pool !

    Wow the lava stone and plants are the wetland filtration, great approach much like aquascapes , they also have bio falls which enhance clarity, nice job guys!!!

    Thanks for sharing this amazing project. What makes me so curious about the level tank. Is the level tank lower than swimming zone or just couple cm above the bottom of swim zone?

    • @peppevenez
      @peppevenez  2 роки тому

      I missed your question. Sorry. The level tank is in line with the edge of the swim zone. The water inside is at the same level of the swim zone so I can control the water level from It.

    Impressive. Did the shallow filter area warm up the water in the pool area as well as clean it out?

    • @peppevenez
      @peppevenez  4 роки тому

      Not really, because the gravel in the biofilter is 50cm deep. The water flows outside only a few cm. But the goal is not to heat the water too much otherwise the processes for the formation of filamentous algae increase.

    • @peppevenez

      Thank you! I don't know really the total cost, because we built it by ourselves, little by little. I think probably between 10 and 15 thousands euro.

    If the regen zone was fully integrated with the swimming area, maybe it wouldn’t look so green. Especially since you painted the swimming zone white.

    • @peppevenez
      @peppevenez  3 роки тому

      Hello, make a natural swimming pool with an integrated regen zone means to have a bio filter with a static water system. It is a good method but it's not good for the climate where i live, a very hot area with a four seasons. My system is a dynamic water filter, the water flows through the lava stone and there is continuous water movement. The green water is normal in a natural swimming pool, it is the effect of unicellular algae, this is possible to tone down with a UV light, but we decided not to use one. 😊

    Wow, potrei spiegare come si fa? Ne vorrei fare una qua in Sardegna. Dove trovi come si fanno?

    • @peppevenez
      @peppevenez  4 роки тому

      Ho fatto parecchie ricerche prima di cimentarmi. In un posto caldo come la Sardegna (lo sono in Sicilia) ti consiglio una biopiscina "dinamica" e non statica. L'acqua deve circolare altrimenti forma alghe filamentose.. le piscine con il bio filtro statico nei lati secondo me vanno bene solo dove le temperature rimangono miti. Su internet trovi parecchie informazioni. Se vuoi qualche info nel dettaglio chiedi pure! 👍

      @@slystarsky6976 Ciao, il bio laghetto è sempre bello e piacevole, la manutenzione è costante come una piscina classica, delle volte di più. Le piante acquatiche vanno pulite, togliendo il secco e se si vuole il fondo limpido bisogna aspirare i depositi, avendo dentro delle carpe i depositi si formano prima.. Dipende che tipo di piscina si vuole, una biopiscina ti da la possibilità di nuotare con pesci, rane, libellule, ecc.. Una piscina classica estiva ti da l'idea di una acqua pulitissima, limpida ma in realtà è acqua trattata chimicamente. Entrambe vogliono costantemente pulizia.

    Did you have to water proof the concrete or is the liner underneath enough?
