I understand when you eat the durian's seed it wasn't in intention. Because you might actually don't know what durian look like inside, does durian has seeds or not, and how to eat. Anyway How was the seed taste? 😅
Talk about mie ayam, here in indonesia there is two type of mie ayam. The first one came out just 1 bowl with noodle and stuffs, and the second is they serve in this video ( noodle and the soup with dumplings and meatball in diff bowl) and how to eat the second type? It's depends of people it self. But mostly they don't mix it. I can tell just like wanna enjoy the taste each by each of bowl.

Been watching your videos, I see that you really like noodle. It’s my favourite too. I have tried different noodles in different cities in Indonesia. I think the best noodles are pork noodle, you can find it in many Chinese restaurants and Chinatown/Chinese folk market in major cities in Indonesia. Though my personal favourite is Yamin type of noodles of Surabaya. It’s on par with noodles in Singapore which are also the best ones. The name usually goes like “Mie Tore (Yamin noodle with crispy pork belly and red charred grilled pork), Mie UP/Mie Ujung Pandang, Pangsit Mie, Mie Swekiau”. Cwimi is also another type of good noodle.

That sweet stuff that you add to your mie ayam is sweet soy sauce. Here you have to be specific if someday you want regular soy sauce, it's called "kecap asin" (lit. salty soy sauce). The sweet one is "kecap manis" (sweet soy sauce).

Never been to Alabama but i am certain the food there is not as good as here. In Michigan, we have amazing pizza and some other things but no way do we have amazing noodles like in Indonesia. They can Rival Vietnamese noodles! Indonesia and Vietnam are #1 so far.
4:42 it's mie ayam and a bowl of pangsit kuah.. people usually don't mix that kuah pangsit into 1 bowl of mie ayam.. your mie ayam will taste a bit bland.. you eat the mie ayam, then slurp the kuah pangsit and eat the pangsit, then eat the mie ayam again, repeat till finished 🤤👍👍👍
Good content Evan, if you ever interested in a mixed Chinese/Indonesian food, come to Batam! We have an Oyster fried noodle called Mie Ekonomi that are special in Riau islands (Outside of Batam still have it, but taste wise it completely different), other than that, Batam also famous for the Seafood...!
