I hope you know that all the time invested in your presentations is very much appreciated. To me, even more than all the wonderful ideas you shared, I’m thankful for all of the advice you gave us… just relax, have fun, and let things happen. Your encouraging words really meant the world to me. 🤗❤️
“You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.” - TH I LoVe this! Thank you for reminding us that crafting should be something we should enjoy and not stress about. So many times we’re trying to do things “right” or perfectly that we lose out on the joy of the whole process. “Don’t freak your freak!” - TH I’m having so much fun watching Hoopla Part 2. Whoop whoop 🙌
I LOVE the way the trees with the spray turned out!!! They actually look more like real trees, cuz trees aren't shaped exactly the same. Really love it!!! It's Not a fail, it's a masterpiece ❤
Less than 24 hours after the hooplas and the cut-n-dry is sold out everywhere 😢-sadness! Wish you were given a heads up before these decisions were finalized so you could put out a little demo on what these products are and the cool ways to use them and maybe save some of these gems. With physical stores quickly disappearing and the big box places carrying fewer and fewer paper craft supplies, unless we see a product demonstrated somewhere we don’t know to go looking for it. Just one of the many wonders of these Lives. Thank you so much for all of the effort that goes into these! So much inspiration, so many great tips and tricks, so much FUN! ❤
Perfectly explained the situation. Hobby Lobby dropped a lot of papercrafting products to devote an entire aisle to resin crafts. Michaels has done something similar.
Yeah I had no idea this even existed! Soooo sad to see this demo-ed and not be able to try it. I’ve searched all over for similar product but have only found dry pads in a container. Guess that’s still doable sorta.
Was watching this video looking for inspirations. I’ve been buying your complete collections each time for past couple yrs but stamping 24yrs now, die cutting only 7 yrs. My mind is not as creative as yours so often need reminders of mixing old with new items. You have taught me to say oh I have something similar by another brand so I go searching thru my stash. Initially made 8-10 cards each holiday but now am up to 38-40. So from beginning, I’ve always did step by step (stamped all in one setting, watercolored, cut all papers, assembled, etc.). I still function in assembly line fashion. Please keep mixing old dies with new so those with limited budgets can bring life to old supplies. I’ve been teaching 2 friends all about card making & home decor. Got them addicted by letting them use my inks, sprays, Spritz, sandable paper, etc. One friend tried my SideKick one day and fell in love so bought her own. The other sees no need but I bought her one I’m delivering to her in Prescott next month. I send them links for all your live shows. I travel a lot and use travel glass mat so they have purchased the big ones. I often buy the new items n let them play with my stuff and then they buy their own. This is how the industry will continue. Thx Tim for all the education!! You help make my world a happy place more than you could ever imagine!!! I make friends & family happy with all the snail mail I send. In past I’ve taken classes with Dina and Dyan in Portland yrs ago but would also love to meet you in person someday. It’s definitely on my bucket list!!
Thank you to both of you for the wonderful live! Tim your heart is so big, your talks full of excitement and happiness are so inspiring, your Tim talks really sink in, your relationship with Mario is a joy to witness, and your friends are so very lucky to have you in their lives❤❤❤
The blurry mica stain trees are so ethereal. Like viewing a forest through heavy fog. You just proofed there are no failures, only opportunities to explore techniques.
Darn it Tim Holtz.... all your creative ideas made me cave in and place a massive order. lol Thanks for sharing all your knowledge and ideas. Love all your creations.
What a delight to wake up Saturday morning to a Holiday Hoopla. Love the reimagining of the seasonal Thinlits. So my fabulous suggestions. Thanks for the gift of your talent and your time.
Thank you for taking time to share your ideas with us. I am sorry that the Ranger Cut n dry is being discontinued. As a fairly new crafter I have only learnt about it through your tutorial.
I loved Carol Duvall too. Her show was often the highlight of my day. I hadn’t realized that she had passed away in spite of occasionally Googling her. Love your emotion about her, I get it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Oh my goodness, my brain hurts! I just love, love, love how you encourage us to use our dies and stamps in so many creative ways. Thank you for so much inspiration. I love spending time with you and Mario.
As always...... I love watching your videos!!! No matter whether they are to introduce a new product or a Hoopla!!!! So many ideas and inspiration!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas you come up with and try!!! Love....love...love!!!
I've watched your videos religiously for 4 years, and this one still absolutely blew my mind. I absolutely loved the mish mash, thank you for the ideas ❤
Thank you. I love all of your lives but especially these inspirational creative making ones. I will probably watch them several times as it's like crafting with a friend. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
Thanks for mentioning Carol Duvall! As a stay at home mom, I really looked forward to the craft shows that were on in the early 2000’s. Didn’t know she had passed at 97! I still remember a lot of the projects she would show.
I loved watching Carol Duvall and I still have a little Cut N Dry in my crafty stash. It's been years since I've used the stamping felt but I used it one year to make all my Thanksgiving cards. Thanks for sharing the memories. I really enjoy watching your videos.
I loved Carol Duvall and the show she was on. I remember seeing you demo the Cut and Dry Felt. You made a Snowman and she loved it. I miss Carol and all the craft shows back then. Thank you for The Hoopla’s. So informative.
I first started stamping because of Carol Duval. I was so glad you mentioned her. That was where I first saw you. You are a true treasure. Thanks for all your inspiration... outstanding. Happy holidays.
My mother in-law first introduced me to the Carol DeVall show and of course you and all the wonderful guest she had. I never knew there was such a craft program. Happy memories, thank you for remembering her in your Hoopla.
Tim , I love the blurred trees. I would cut that to tag size, add a tea stained doily die cut on top to start layering. hand cut a paper tree and spray mica for the tree. Throw on your glitter, l would a add rag bow in cream and pine green. It would be the gift tag to a parchment paper and twine gift wrapped package . Unique , artistic and beautiful. As always your popcorn brain creates beautiful things lending to freedom in personal expression! Thank you
It's hard for me to find the right words: Thank you, Tim and Mario, for this fantastic holiday hoopla. I'm more inspired than I have been in a long time. Normally I always mix all the media from the Tim Holtz products, but these ideas really fascinated me. I especially think the idea with the Toyland colorize dies is perfect. Thank you again for everything and I'm really looking forward to the next video... Great job 👍☺️😍💖
Tim - your videos are ALWAYS SO UPBEAT and AMAZING. LOVE LOVE LOVE all the ideas you give us for using our stash in new and creative ways. You and Mario are treasures to the craft world. Thank you for being YOU! 💓
I started my crafty journey when I was pregnant with my first child. That child turns 26 next week. I never knew what that cut and dry felt was for. Tim, thanks for teaching this old dog a new trick!
I lovedCarol Duval, watched her all the time when I lived in the mountains in Colorado, around 1987 to 1999. She was the best, but now we have you and you are the best of the best. I loved this Hoopla more than you know. Bless you both always. PS, plz send me a sample of the stamp you made with the Cut and Dry Felt Pad that you created. That would be way cool.🙏🙏
Having grown up with German television, I don‘t know Carol - but it is clear that she meant a lot to you, not just for giving you a break, so I am very sorry for your loss and I hope you will take strength from the happy memories! Remembering her like you shared with us today is a wonderful testament to her! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Watching part two as a re-run on Sunday morning (local time) - not as good as a live but a pretty good day to start a Sunday! Thank you, Tim and Mario for doing these, they are so much fun and knowledge and inspiration! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Well, I'm back and just finished the second half of Holiday Hoopla. I really an inspired and just need to get going. Thanks for all of the great ideas and positivity.
Thank you for all you do. It is greatly appreciated and these words are truly not enough. I love all you do and am new to your videos. I have been buying your products for years but just recently jumped on the you tube wagon. Thank you so much. So sorry about Carol. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing gift of creativity. Your demonstrations are inspiring and your explanations are easy to follow. I can only imagine how long to takes to set up for these creative videos but your time and effort is so appreciated. You always make me laugh and smile too. Love and blessings xx
I loved watching you on the Carol Duval show ! I used to tape them so I didn’t miss anything, I even still have my favorites. Thank you for the inspiration💕🎄☃️
Wonderful ideas, Tim! The candy really caught my eye as I have that die and thought it was so much fun to make, so this is a great idea! I had forgotten about Carol Duval, used to watch her and enjoyed her. Sorry you have lost a dear friend. They are precious to us.Thanks to you and Mario for these Hooplas!
Excellent video! Thank you, Tim and Mario! I concur with comment below - it IS the advice given! I remember it from the Carol Duvall Show. That was what stayed with me for many years after!
Thank you so much for your Hoopla day! I had to come back and watch this again to ensure I really comprehended Cut-N-Dry. What an awesome tool and what a beautiful way to honor your friend Carol. I absolutely loved the chocolate boxes too! Cheers!
Hello from Scotland 👋, Fabulous hoopla, love all your ideas and always 👍🏼 when I view your videos and hope your numbers go up for this part 2 …need to start getting.some Christmas crafting done and enjoyed the inspiration you provided 🥰 thank you!
I finally had time to watch this.... And now I want to go shopping! You share the best ideas and I really appreciate you and Mario giving your time to us. I took all of the mica sprays to a craft gathering last month and the 10 of us had a blast spraying backgrounds.
Thank you for all you do! I bought my first stamp somewhere around 1988. Eek! Resources weren’t very accessible back then. I remember heat embossing over the kitchen stove 😳. Flash forward a few years - Carol Duvall, Tim Holtz and a VCR. I was livin large!! So much has changed and yet old school is still around. So, again, thank you for all the inspiration!!
I can't even begin, what I have come to learn from you, over all these years. I started in 2004 as a shop owner, and bought my very first distress ink pads (still have them, and even still use some of them) Every time you launched a new color, it literally felt like Christmas. I watched every video, played along with the 12 tags of Christmas, and really learned all I know now. Evey day, I try to go up in my room and just play with inks and of course pastes and embossing glazes/powders, sprays etc. etc I do am very very sad about the cut 'n dry felt being discontinued. I luckily have half a pack left.🤗 But yeah.... Honestly Tim & Mario, Thank you for all your sharing ❤
Thank you for the inspiration and the BEST TIME! I really look forward to everyone of your videos. Tim, you and Mario are a great team! I so appreciate you both! Hugs, Debi🩷💕
TY Tim and Mario for the Hoopla’s! I cherish your love of making and creating and it inspires me. TY for helping me to realize that my makes are important to me, and sharing them with my family and friends is my special way of loving them more! ❤️
Wow, wow, wow! SO much wonderful inspiration! Thank you for sharing the amazing demo with the Cut N Dry Felt and that specialty stamping card stock. Such beautiful results! Huge thank yous to you and Mario for a fabulous Holiday Hoopla! I am so grateful for you both and this wonderful, positive, and generous crafting family. Wishing you both an amazing Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
Thank You so much, this was amazing. My mind is spinning with all the ideas. I'm a long time stamper and I remember teaching a class at my local stamp store with cut-n-dry. So fun to see it used again. I have not used it in years but I'm sure I still have some in my stash. I will be digging it out and using it with the same stamp set (so glad I own that set). Thanks again for all the inspiration.
Thank you for the inspiration and the reminder on using things we already have, in different ways. And thanks for the pep talk at the end. Happy Holidays!
Thank you for the Holiday Hoop ma's video! You and Mario are so much fun together! Thank you for all your inspiration and how you use the dies, in different ways!
LOVE the outfit Mario... Happy Holidays Tim and Mario. I love the Hoopla because it gets me outside of the 'box'. Many times when I purchase a stamp/die/emboss/stencil, I have an idea in my head. It works out most of the time, but it also has a tendency to stop there and it's hard for me to see what else to do with that product. Your videos, tutorials, Hooplas, everything... helps me see many more creative ideas for that product. And especially this Hoopla because the 'mix-N-match-N-create was ingenious. Thank you so much.
This was my very first Hoopla! I'm very new to card making, so I'm really soaking up all the information, tips, tricks, and wisdom. Thank you, Tim and Mario!
Great fun and so much inspiration!🎉 Thank you both for all your art, creative inspiration, tips and tricks! Much love and thanks! I look forward to trying so many cool things! I loved watching Carol she had such a great spirit and enthusiasm! I need to find her shows and watch again! 😢❤️Need Cut and Dry, sold out! I am on the list!❤❤🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I love you mentioning Carol Duvall. I would record her PBS videos, along with Aleene's Creative Living, and Sewing with Nancy (Zieman). They fueled my love of crafting. 😊
Thank you Tim and Mario for a great holiday hoopla! Wonderful inspiration! And thank you for “being real” about your warm feelings for your friend Carol…she had a good eye for talent as well as a big heart! Happy holidays!🫶🎄☃
This was fun to watch, but I am so bummed that the cut ‘n dry foam is sold out everywhere. I have one package, but wanted more. I remember watching Carol Duvall and did not know she had passed this year 97! Those shows so inspired me, like your lives. Thanks!
I hope you know that all the time invested in your presentations is very much appreciated. To me, even more than all the wonderful ideas you shared, I’m thankful for all of the advice you gave us… just relax, have fun, and let things happen. Your encouraging words really meant the world to me. 🤗❤️

Making your own stamp pad blew my mind!

Thank you for all you do! I bought my first stamp somewhere around 1988. Eek! Resources weren’t very accessible back then. I remember heat embossing over the kitchen stove 😳. This was my very first Hoopla! I'm very new to card making, so I'm really soaking up all the information, tips, tricks, and wisdom. Thank you, Tim and Mario!
My mind only works with chaos. LOL. The Chaos around me makes me feel safe in my craft space.
As we say in quilting..."Finished is better than perfect."
I love you mentioning Carol Duvall. I would record her PBS videos, along with Aleene's Creative Living, and Sewing with Nancy (Zieman). They fueled my love of crafting. 😊
Wonderful video guys!
54:28 Ohhhhh, this car with moon in the box!! Ohhhh, so sweeeet!! I can't stop: ohhhh, oh, ohhhh 🤗😍
Man, I really love you guys!
You guys are my all time favorite. Will always give you two thumbs up if they had that!!! Love it!!! 😍
Thank you Tim and Mario for a great holiday hoopla! Wonderful inspiration! And thank you for “being real” about your warm feelings for your friend Carol…she had a good eye for talent as well as a big heart! Happy holidays!🫶🎄☃
Two in one evening - oh my dizzy stars. Thanks Tim & Mario, and Happy Hoopla everyone! Aunty M x
This was fun to watch, but I am so bummed that the cut ‘n dry foam is sold out everywhere. I have one package, but wanted more. I remember watching Carol Duvall and did not know she had passed this year 97! Those shows so inspired me, like your lives. Thanks!
Love what you did with the tree shifter stencil. Very cool!
