Hey Rae!🤗 As usual, your hair looks great! Thank you so much for sharing these products! I've wanted to try them but was unsure. This video is extremely helpful! Until next time, take care and stay safe!
Love Design Essentials. The daily lotion used in conjunction with as I am curling jelly creates a nice soft wash n go. I really love the entire line. Looking to try the masque next
I think you'll like the masque. I haven't tried the daily moisturizer, but many people say they like it better than the leave-in, so I think I will give it a try. Thanks for tuning in.
I just got the kit that you were talking about it's very inexpensive and also got the creme gel. I can't wait to try it out. Your hair looks very defined.
Great wash and go Rae! Your hair looks good and has great definition. It could go for a few more days. I purchased some Design Essentials at TJ Maxx and also received this Masque in an Ulta sponsored Curlbox. I will try them all soon and let you know.
I have found that the leave-in dries out my hair from all of the protein because of that I tried the lotion and it moisturizes, softens and has tons of slip. I absolutely love the cream gel it has so much hold and prefer it over eco.
It's a true leave in conditioner. It's only supposed to condition(smooth and coat/protect) the cuticle for detangling, not moisturize. That's what the moisturizer in this line is for. But yes, if you like multipurpose leave ins, then this isn't for you.
Great results! You know I love Design Essentials! Their defining creme gel works well on my hair, about as well as a regular gel. However, I do have to put on a generous amount to get the definition I want. Luckily, doing that does not produce any flakes. I layer their daily moisturizing lotion under it. I set the wash and go by sitting under a hooded dryer. My hair comes out looking great! It will last me about a week. If I need a little moisture before seven days has passed I will mist some of their Daily Curl Revitilizing Spray on my hair. Thanks for sharing these products!
I really like this cream gel so far. It surprised the heck out of me with the definition and softness. I can't wait to use it again. Thanks for watching.
I don't use the same products every week because I have so many products to review and I am low porosity, so for me the answer would be no. However, someone else may use these every week if they need the protein. You have to know what your hair needs. I would advise using all things in moderation.
I used the Design Essential mousse when I wear my hair in a ponytail bun, it makes my hair shine and my edges were laid better than using an edge control
Your hair came out very nice. I love the shampoo. I purchased it in Marshall's and after one use I went back and purchased another bottle. I would like try the mousse for a twist out and twaidout.
Yes it works well for a twist-out! I’d try it first without a leave in, as a stand alone and then if you don’t like the feel with the leave-in under. It can stand alone but just use on damp hair.
Your curls look great for day 4. The shampoo and conditioner use to be my fav. I purchased the mask, I can't wait to use it. I didn't get the other products because they had lots of protein. Great review.
@@NaturalRaeRae the mousse is amazing! I did a twist out. I think it would be great for a wash n go. It would be soft. I rolled the ends with rods too. They stayed curled for a few days
I didn’t like the deep conditioner 😢 it has protein hidden it but it’s called a deep moisturizing masque. When I tell you no matter how much gel I put in it would not define which led to flakes and I feel like it was hard to comb through
@@NaturalRaeRae yeah I love the products they work great I just think they should say so on the front strengthening and moisturizing deep conditioner because last week when I did the wash and go the first time it was bomb. I think using the masque this week though my hair got protein overload.
@@NaturalRaeRae not sure but the product says it moisturizes while strengthening. On the website it says the almond and avocado are supposed to strengthen.
I loved the video as you know shampoo top tire looking forward to giving that creme gel a try..the leave in is not bad to me but it’s lighter side ..mousse I would say is almost top tier up there with shampoo
Yes that deep conditioner is nice for brushing through. I add water and it foams up and the brush I use glides through my hair. Not a huge fan of the smell though.
I've been wanting to try the DE Honey custard, but unfortunately it has glycerine. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and try it anyway when there's a sale or something.
I’ve tried the custard and it’s quite subpar. The amount of glycerin makes it feels like your hair never dries so that’s no a for me. The only thing I like from this brand are 2 shampoos (A+A and honey creme) , rinse out conditioner and mousse
I'm hearing a lot of people say that the custard isn't very good, but this cream gel is really good. I still have yet to try the mousse. Thanks for sharing.
I am not a design essentials fan. As a high porosity chick that loves protein, that leave in is not moisturizing enough and too light. The cream gel has good hold and dries quickly but is drying. I prefer it for a twist or braidout. I would like to try the mousse because of it’s reputation but design essentials has no place in my stash.
The gel didn't dry my hair out. I want to try it with a different leave in because the leave-in to this line is very light, but all in all, I got pretty good results. I love the shampoo from this line, it will always be in my stash. Thanks for sharing.
I really appreciate that you come back a few days later to see how your hair holds up. I will try the shampoo, dc, and cream gel.
I think you will like those products. After you try them, come back and let me know your thoughts. Thanks for watching.

This was a nice break down. Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!

I luv how your hair looks 🥰💙💕☀️.. I’ve heard really good things about these products.. but I haven’t tried them yet.. thanks Rae for this review 🥰☀️
Thank you! I love the shampoo, deep conditioner and the cream gel. The cream gel really surprised me. Thanks for watching.
👍🏾for the wash n go! I'll have to look into that cream gel & shampoo. Thanks for the vid 🌞🌞🌞
Thank you! I love the shampoo and the gel is not far behind. Thanks for watching.

The do have a moisturizer that it said to use with the gel, but I didn't have it. I will look for it next. Thanks for watching.

I love the texture of your hair It's so nice and holds up very well 👌
Thank you! 😊
I love design essentials. I prefer the custard for wash and go and use the cream gel to twist. The mousse is my all around favorite.
Thanks for sharing.
Do you feel like the custard provides hold that withstands humidity? Is it a soft hold, does it feel sticky? I’m thinking of purchasing.
This product line is on my list for BF. I’ve heard some really good things about it and I’m looking forward to trying them. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you like it!
The curls came out great. 👀 Your fourth-day hair looks 👀 great too.
Thank you!!

Can’t wait to see how this cream gel works out 🤞🏾 !!
Hey Rae 🌞, the style turned out well 😘
Thank you! 🤗
I have tried this cream gel, but I plan to. I’ve only tried 1 cream gel so far and my hair LOVED it! You still had coils for days on day 4! 🙌🏾
I really like this cream gel so far. It surprised the heck out of me with the definition and softness. I can't wait to use it again. Thanks for watching.
Are u able to use these product each week with the proteins in them

Nice video. I like the Design Essential mousse and I use to use their edge control.
Thank you!. What do you use the mousse for?
I used the Design Essential mousse when I wear my hair in a ponytail bun, it makes my hair shine and my edges were laid better than using an edge control
Your hair looks good. I haven’t used the cream gel before, been doing mostly twist outs but may try when I do a Wash n Go again.
Thanks. I'm sure you can use it for a twist out as well. It would probably give great definition. Thanks for tuning in.

I have the mousse, maybe I'll try a twist out with it and see how it goes. Thanks for that suggestion.

Can you use these products on already textured by design essential curl texturizer/perm👉hair?
Please look at the site or contact the brand to ask that question. I wouldn't want to steer you wrong.
I didn’t like the deep conditioner 😢 it has protein hidden it but it’s called a deep moisturizing masque. When I tell you no matter how much gel I put in it would not define which led to flakes and I feel like it was hard to comb through
Sorry the products didn't work for you. That was definitely not my experience. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts.

What does it smell like?
@@jessicagreen1350 a false sweet almond scent. It doesn't linger though.
I didn't mind the smell. I thought it smelled citrusy. Thanks for watching.
@@NaturalRaeRae yeah definitely some citrus nodes in there too.
Your hair looks good...fluffier. I have not used any of these products.
Thank you!
The cream gel is better than their custard in my opinion . The cream gel gave me more hold.
It does have nice hold. I've never tried the custard and probably won't since the cream gel works so well.
Did you dry it under a hair dryer with a plastic hat on or just hair out
Not understanding the question. Are you asking how I dried my wash and go or how I deep conditioned it?
I've been wanting to try the DE Honey custard, but unfortunately it has glycerine. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and try it anyway when there's a sale or something.
Haven't tried it since my twa days and I can't remember a lot about it. I may try it again one day, after my no buy. Thanks for tuning in.

Design Essentials costs a bit more but it's always worth the money.
Sally Beauty carries it and they are always having a sale. Thanks for tuning in.
Also you can get them cheaper at TJMaxx or Marshall’s. I see some of their items there.
