- Only a New Age teacher would say something like “suicide ideation is a symptom of spiritual awakening.”
We hear stuff like this all the time within this dangerous, psuedospiritual community: “people mistake wanting to die with an ego death,” “we carry karmic loads from previous lifetimes that we must unpack in this life to usher soul growth,” “your suffering is teaching you how to expand” and other nonsensical expressions that sound like a prophetic answer to the untrained, vulnerable, desperate ear.
Of course, none of it is true. It’s all a deception, authored by the enemy and designed to lure you further into the trap of satanism gift-wrapped as “self-healing.”
This two-part episode is a response to popular New Age teacher Christina Lopes’ recent UA-cam video where she ‘explains’ the spiritual ramifications of suicide ideation, presenting pantheistic and Buddhist concepts as justifications to one’s suffering. Christina says there is no eternal punishment for suicide (or anything), that our soul comes back over and over to achieve eternity (?), that someone who wants to die is simply having an ego death, that the planet is a conscious being going through “her” own soul expansion which affects our own, and that we should seek out shamans for support.
In part-one, I address her reasoning as to WHAT suicide ideation is and why it’s utter hogwash by challenging the inconsistencies and pitfalls of her New Age frame with a solid, coherent biblical frame.
In the part-two members-exclusive, I tackle her illogical, manipulative perspective as to WHY suicide ideation is on the rise and the SOLUTIONS she offers in the face of that - and bring it all back as to why JESUS is the only Way, Truth and Life despite how many self-proclaimed spiritual gurus claim otherwise.

when I was in new age and I read books such as those mentioned it completely broke my brain and made me feel like I didn’t know who I was anymore or what life meant anymore I was so broken into little tiny pieces from reading new age books they are so incredibly dangerous.

I actually came across this woman and watched her videos for like a year, then I bought her 3 month course with live QA s, there were many stages and when I ve got to the heart stage chapter, we had live QA for it when she starts to mention that in the past during egyptian times sex was absolute normal btwn family members and it was a form of healing, the way she spoke about it as if it s super normal, right there I dropped everything, I didn’t finish the course, there was also something very bizarre that happened when I was doing this course… When I would fall asleep, I would have very very vivid dream that were very uncomfortable in these dream she was literally in my house spying on me, she would be standing in the kitchen , watching me and walking around and it was so vivid, I would wake up dizzy not feeling fine at all it was like some evil force was trying to dry up my soul, I wasn’t feeling fine during these weeks when I started her course, so I was doing my best but my last draw was when she spoke about the egyptian sex healing btwn family member thing, and when I dropped everything gave up on this course weird things kept happening, the vivid dreams of her wearing white leading a group of people leading a cult, I was standing by it because i didnt wanna make part of it, i then started to call on Jesus saying please let this woman out of my life my energy my soul my being I have already given up on her course now please help me to let her out of my spirit, she was invading it, those vivid nightmares were serious, she was invading my sacred godly space … I also have stopped listening and doing her free resources meditation because everytime I would do it, again… there is something that is just not right. I pray for her. I really do, when she spoke about using drugs to heal her soul my heart broke it, is just sad, gladly I ve had already woken up about her, but just felt this sadness I prayed for her, God didnt place us here to look for healing in any type of drugs or sex healing please what is all this? madness.. I am so glad I have woken up , I took a deep dive in her courses and I ALMOST went to the resort getaway that she does it.. Almost!!! I am SO GLAD I have given up on it!!!! We gotta pray for her

I used to believe that too. Then I started to realize that New Age spirituality and postmodernism go hand in hand, and moral relativism is a product of that. That there is no objective truth, only subjective truth, leads people to believe that everything is relative, and good and evil are just a matter of perception. That's fantastic news to the Ego; it gobbles it right up. "I get to do whatever I want and there's no consequences? Sweet! YOLO!"

Before I was saved I used to believe this mess. I thought I was experiencing ‘the dark night of the soul’. I thought I was ascending. I was so deceived.
I was subscribed to Christina Lopes’ channel. I was so depressed and desperate I was considering doing an Ayahuasca ceremony not realizing it would make my demonic attacks even worse.
New Agers love Jesus but won’t accept what he says about death. If reincarnation were true then Jesus died for nothing.
What I found the most depressing was feeling trapped, like a suicidal hamster on a wheel, repeating this life over and over.
All I needed was to be delivered, baptized, and saved. I needed Jesus. I thank Him everyday. ❤
Literally going through this right now, I brushed it off because I thought I was experiencing the dark night so I simply went deeper into it & now I don't see a way out. Christianity looks strange to me compared to the wisdom I found in spirituality but yet I love Jesus
@@viviennebaptiste I totally can relate. I was suicidal for many years, had 4 attempts. This year I turned 47! I thought I would be dead by 21! I couldn’t get off the depressing hamster wheel no matter how much meditation, reiki, yoga, I did. It was never ending. I was being attacked by demons.
Jesus saved me. I called out to him during an attack. The demons dispersed in fear immediately. I was shocked. That was roughly 5 years ago. This year, March, I was baptized.
It wasn’t until I read the book of Enoch I began to ‘truly see’ for the first time that I was on the wrong path and on the wrong side of spiritual warfare, because that what this is. New Age doesn’t tell the truth about what truly going on in the spirit world. New Age certainly cannot deliver people from or cast out demons. It can only be done in Jesus name.
Christianity was strange to me at first because I had no idea who Jesus truly is, and I didn’t have the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is how we truly and directly communicate to and with God. Jesus is ‘the way’ to God.
Reading and studying Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John really helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I highly recommend.
New Agers don’t believe in demons. They are real. Once I saw there is power in just even saying the name ‘Jesus’ was what convinced me that I was on the wrong side. Reading the Gospels really opened my eyes of who Jesus truly was/is and how powerful He really is to have such authority over demons. Reading the Gospels is the only way to truly know Him, and what’s really going on in the spiritual world.
I thought I had ‘dark night ots’ as well and was ‘ascending’. I learned so much from NA, but it’s a trap. Finally I feel so much peace. I am finally free.
*The Book of Enoch is non biblical yet a great read. It kinda prepared me for the Bible. It was never part of the Bible because Jesus is the true Messiah, not Enoch. Just an important note.
@A RAE NA I'm not really into NA I'm into African Spirituality & I'm finding it hard to get out because a lot of the things that they teach "make sense". You know the belief that there are spirits that govern nature, water, fire, earth, air.
I had over 12 consultations done & I found out that my head Orisha, my spiritual parent is Oshun goddess of the Rivers, love, beauty etc & my father is Obatala.
Long story short, I can't imagine life without a "divine feminine" aspect.
How can we have a Father without a Mother?
I'm also scared that if I leave, I'll just backslide again. I'm a serial backslider, one day I'm on fire for Jesus the next day I'm confronted with thoughts on why I should even be a Christian.
Why can't we consult the stars? Why can't we honor spirits of creation? Isn't Creation just a manifestation of the Creator? Why did God give power to Creation, the water, the earth etc but tells us not to consult them.

New Age isn’t new. The term was first used by Helena Blavatsky in her books (The Secret Doctrine, and Lucifer Magazine). New Age includes all polytheistic spiritual practices including Santeria, African spirituality, Shamanism, witchcraft, Hinduism, Occult practices, all of it.
I am familiar with Obatala, Oshun, the African Gods/ Goddesses, Orishas, etc.
The book of Enoch goes into more detail about why we are warned and forbidden to worship other gods and goddesses other than Yahweh. Jesus was even more clear about this in the Gospels.
The story of the Fallen Angels, specifically The Watchers is very important. Those are the gods and goddesses people worship. Their hybrid offspring are the Nephilim. Some cultures call them Annanaki. Some are Egyptian gods, etc. Same Fallen Angels, different names, different cultures.
Jesus warned that many would come in His name. He also warned that even Satan appears as an Angel of light. Jesus delivered thousands of people from demons and took them very seriously.
Fallen Angels have shapeshifting abilities and are extremely dangerous and manipulative. Demons, their spirit offspring, are just as sneaky. They hate humans and will do anything to destroy us.
Fallen Angels can absolutely appear to us as beautiful beings…even as gods and goddesses. Do not be deceived.
I just came from a 3 day Christian conference In Baltimore. I couldn’t believe how many people got delivered from demons just this weekend! One person I helped deliver came from Santeria. There were many others like her getting delivered. Paganism/ New Age is how demons ‘get in’. Most people don’t even know they have them. That’s how slick these ‘persons without bodies’ truly are.
New Age and Paganism can be wonderful at first. It’s like drugs and the power is addictive.
I am telling you, if someone needs deliverance from demons, you cannot get rid of them in the name of Buddha, Ra, Osiris, Allah, Oshun, or Obatala. No amount of sage, or any other magic or ritual will clear them out. It’s not possible.
I love my African/ Puerto Rican ancestors and heritage. I have Taino great-grandparents. Ancestral spiritual practices are extremely dangerous. Be very careful.

Steven also has a website called Reasons for Jesus. He is an Ex New Ager with a powerful testimony. Richard was deep into Santeria…really deep.
Also, the women in the Bible, especially in the New Testament had very important roles, and were truly amazing. I think you would really appreciate their powerful stories. Jesus delivered Mary Magdalene from a legion of 7 demons! These celestial beings are no joke!
God created all things. We are to admire the creation, not worship or idolize them in any way. Astronomy yes. Astrology no. We are to go to God as the source and answer of all things, not rely on the stars, cards, spirits, crystals, or anything else, not even Angels. When we call Angels or any other deities, we have no idea who or what is going to show up. We are to pray and ask God to send Angels to protect and encamp around us. Angles are not there to do our bidding. They only serve God and take instructions only from God.
Jesus has demonstrated that He is the master over the weather and elements (he walked on water and calmed storms), quality (water to wine), quantity (feeding of the 5000), master over the spiritual world (casting out demons), the list goes on.

I guess I don't get, if all of this is dangerous then how do you have people that I've been practicing it for decades with no problems?
Have you also noticed that some countries that are deep into this, face many difficulties? India has many problems, Haiti has many problems. JAMAICA has many problems.
Everyone has problems but I just noticed that those countries that are deep into the worship of other gods tend to have many problems that other countries don't have.

The unforgivable sin reminds me of something Dr. Jordan Peterson explained about why mass murderers go on a rampage, killing everyone they can before ending their own life. It's a big flipping of the middle finger towards life itself. They don't just want to die by suicide, they also want all of life to die as if their own existence was an indignity and therefore an injustice that had been done to them.
Wow, every time I’m reminded of what I used to believe I have to praise God for saving me out of that total deception. This is definitely one of the most wicked and I’m glad you’re addressing it. I hope a lot of people in the New Age see this.

Thank you so much Angela. This is so needed to share about this most important topic to lead folks away from new age deception that I was once a part of for the better part of my life. I've been demonized heavily in my body for years. I didn't know what was going on and turned to new age and was told it was a kundalini/ spiritual awakening. I tried everything, working through trauma, meditations, affirmations, but still I kept getting worse. Then I found Christian deliverance ministries and I've been coming back to church for the past year and I know I'll be delivered through relationship with God through the son Jesus Christ. God bless everyone to find the path back to Jesus who defeated the enemy already and gave us the covenant path to get free and stay saved. In his name we pray.

The church I just left got a new pastor that believes in many things that are not biblical truths. The consequences of suicide are horrible. How it affects children is terrible. It’s the most selfish act that anyone could do to another person. I’ve lost a brother and then his daughter left her 4 children. Truth renews our minds it is a battle but He will help us get through.

However one of the commandments tell us to love others as we love ourselves. So I've been wondering what it looks like to love ourselves from a biblical context. I was never in the new age, per se, but I did subscribe to some new age beliefs. In this world, it's easy to fall into it's trap. Thankfully, I was pulled out of the lostness and sin I was mired in at the age of 45. I'm now 52 so I'm kind of a "teenage" Christian. I could never imagine my life now believing this kind of stuff! Praise God for His wisdom! And thank you, Jesus, for saving me!
The thing that's so amazing about this lady is the certainty with which she speaks of these ideas. I feel so sad for her. It breaks my heart... one of the things I notice most prominently in lost souls is the sadness in their eyes. I will be praying for her. 🙏❤

Yes! What you said about your uncle... I believe suicide is going against Gods will. What if he has plans to use you for his ministry? To tell others of him. People who are in need of him. Cutting your life short, you leave behind his amazing plan he had waiting for you. To use you for his glory. It's like saying he isn't enough to heal you of whatever it is you're going through. Dear Angela, this is a great video. I to bought into the whole new age deception and I was obsessed with it for about ten years since 2012. There is another channel on youtube that spreads this new age stuff which I to bought into. Channeling Erik teaches a-lot of this new age stuff to like reincarnation and all the other stuff you mentioned. The lady that does the Channeling Erik channel her son Erik committed suicide in 2009 and now she contacts mediums to help contact her son.
We are all appointed *once* to die, then see judgement!

I think I’m going to have to come back to this episode lovely Angela as few minutes in hearing this lady so far has made me feel really funny can’t explain it something about her words , her eyes everything ; making me feel on edge ;and righteous anger .I just had to turn it off ,maybe subject too close to home as I’ve suffered with depression: anxiety .OCD since teenage and I’m now in my 40s !😩God always had his hand on me and since slowly coming to him during the Plan dem if ,things slowly but surely getting better ,all praises to God ,he hasn’t taken it all away but I have Jesus walking beside through it all now ❤🙏🏿 Suicide thoughts have been there off and on ; much less nowadays , but I’ve just come out off a recent dark spell and find it highly insulting that this lady calls it a “Spiritual awakening “ as I personally feel more like it a Spiritual Attack actually, and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I totally agree - not a salvation issue whatsoever regarding sleeping after death until Christ's return vs going immediately to heaven.. but just some food for thought. Jesus told the thief on the cross that he would be with him in Paradise that day. "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Luke 23:43

I absolutely agree how they say your pain is your souls growth, ego deah etc etc. It's all destruction and lies of Satan. I am so glad I left the new age and seekee Jesus and he revealed himself to me. I have a question, an honest question that I'm struggling to understand after all of the new age damaged me so much. What is our pain? Our grief? What is it...Is it love that longs to be heard and cared for ...from Jesus. I am still learning. I wonder what the perspective on this is...what is our grief and pain? All sin is equal in Gods eyes but if one does take his life, I believe He will judge accordingly as long as they don't openly deny Christ. I have seen a few of her videos. She didn't say anything quite so wild on the ones i saw. I don't know exactly what it was about her but i caught a particularly bad feeling from her for the lack of a better way to put it. It is something I don't NECESSARILY get from most New Age/ occult types

I mean she’s definitely not wrong in the idea that suicide doesn’t solve anything. All your problems don’t go away, you now have one giant problem of eternal hell. (Not to say everyone who commits suicide goes to hell, I know there were people who were very mentally ill who were followers of Christ who have committed suicide and I believe in my heart that they are now with the Lord) HOWEVER, my question to anyone who preaches anything OTHER than the Bible is… how do you know all of this? Have you died? Have you experienced death? Where on earth are you getting your information? It’s so dangerous to preach all of this with NO evidence. People make fun of me all the time for preaching the word of God, yet it’s the MOST hard evidence we have that exists in the world. Where is she getting this information from? How does she know souls go to heaven and aren’t punished? Who told her that and why should I believe her over the actual factual thousand year old evidence of God?
Once I smoked a bunch of salvia divinorum and experienced ego death. It's the most terrifying thing that's ever happened to me, even 16 years later. I was so grateful to come down and be not only myself again, but even a human being. Not something I'd ever wish to attain again; this New Age woman is talking about it as if it's the pinnacle of life. Ugh.
I did believe in Jesus. But I realized I wanted a husband more. I know this is wrong and I know God can be our husband some day but I feel like I’m unfixable some days for not treating others well and for lashing out out of fear of people abandoning me

Do you believe that if wants to kill themselves sometimes because they recognize they hurt other people without meaning to and you can’t stop thinking about how much they hate you and you recognize a need to take vengeance for being unloved that there is a demon behind it? Is there any hope for me?
Actually sometimes suicidal ideation can happen as you are shedding parts of you that can no longer exist. The ego believes it’s all that is, so when it’s shattering. I have personally experienced it.

If someone kills themselves, they do not see that they don’t live, but Christ who lives in them… so them commuting that final act of “I’m God of my life, and I say when the race is done”, I believe, is the ultimate win for satan. No longer do we do the will of God. No longer are we living for Jesus. To kill yourself is the opposite of deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus.
The conversion is absolutely in question. It breaks my heart, because I’ve attempted so many times before being saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; but God! If it was His will, I wouldn’t be here. Our joy is in Christ, alone.
I think that we deny to “live as Christ” and have denied the new birth from above, if we kill the new man the Lord made of us.

No, believers in Christ who are saved and eventually commits suicide will not ne rejected by Christ to enter heaven. Salvation and grave abounds even greater. Suicide is a mental disease and hopeless state of mind. It is not a denial or rejection of faith. Christ salvation is greater than all our sin. Killing oneself is a sin against God’s temple. But God forgives our sins past, present, future. If the king of England invited you to his palace to come in on a saturday, but you decided to come on Friday, the king will not simply turn you away, but will always invite you as a guest. God knows us. He knows when we will be born and when we will die.
Also, king Saul committed suicide in the Bible.
But, no if you are born again nothing can undo that.

I the biggest vision I have experienced (and also my kick start beginning into searching for spiritual truth) I saw the Source (God) above and I saw how trusting that light brings you closer to that light of God. Then I also saw how committing suicide is the ultimate act of the exact opposite of having trust in life and God. For a moment (and I never really believed in or even thought about hell) I saw and felt the souls that committed that awful act - and it was horrible. I heard their screams, I felt their desperation, I saw them getting pulled and sucked in something so dark I never imagined existed. And to this day I think this is true.
I’m happy to share also that I recently talked about this with a friend, and he told me he heard a clear voice (of God?) once during a psychedelic mushroom trip. And the voice said: ‘suicide is not an option’. Wanted to share this because since my journey in Christ I was getting more and more afraid of psychedelics, but during them Truth can come through anyhow…

The unforgivable sin is rejecting salvation.

I would never charge for Bible study, biblical counseling or prayer or testimonies of salvation: as Jesus said, do not charge what was freely given to you. Someone that's a saved believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and they committed suicide, they're not going to hell or the Lake of fire. Christ died for all your sins, before you were born. By the way, the " "rapture'" resurrection is a promise "exclusively" to the body of Christ, found in Paul's epistles. Read I Thessalonians chapter 4: 13-18(kjv) OT saints will not be resurrected until the end of the Tribulation period also called the 70th week of Daniel (Jacob's trouble) some OT saints will be resurrected, when Christ returns at the Battle of Amegeddon. Members of the body of Christ will stand before the judgement seat of Christ(only saved people) I Corinthians 3:10-15(kjv). Sin is not the issue at the Bema seat. At the judgement seat of Christ, your works go through the fire. Either fine precious stones come out, like gold and silver or wood, hay, and stubble. The believer, who's works are burnt up will suffer loss, he's or she are still saved. What that loss is? Nobody really knows. Believers today will be judged on one main issue. How clearly did they give the Gospel of the Grace of God to people. Many neo-evangelical denominations mix grace with the law of Moses, which is doctrinally devilish. Another issue that brings confusion to any church is multi Bible translations. Also called "New age" bibles taken from the Alexandrian text(Greek NT) and the corrupt Septuagint a Greek translation of the OT. New age bibles all come from these two text. NIV New American standard ect.ect. The kjv comes from the Textus Receptus(NT) The Massoretic text(OT) All orthodox Jews use the Massoretic text(Torah)

When I read that book (conversations with god (little g ofc) I went through 7 days of straight hell on earth, there was something so dark on me I couldn't see the meaning of life I was hopeless beyond anything I could ever imagine, all I wanted was to die but I was too afraid to die so I ended up in this loop, I would cry at work, at home, everywhere I went, as soon as I would wake up I would be drowned in tears how meaningless life is, what a lie from hell.. that book is CHANNELED with demons, warn everyone to stay away from that book
