From the 1976 Album Arrival, My Love My Life was Agnetha Falskogs finest performance it really brings out her beautiful vocals. It's definitely my favorite track on the Arrival Album.
ABBA were so versatile and this song was simply wonderful. Agnetha shows the range she has here, she changes from low to high and does so absolutely clearly. She looks like an angel and takes us to heaven with her voice. I love this song. One of the best bands ever, each a great talent and together unbeatable.
Not live, but it's a wonderful song, no doubt! Agnetha sounds angelical on this one... The kimonos are so cool too! Thanks Bright ✌️ Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
@alejandrosantanaborquez917 The designer of all stageclothes for ABBA, except the clothes they wore at the Eurovision contest in Brighton, is Owe Sandström. He was also my husband's senior high school teacher in Natural Science . Owe also created and built up the biggest high school animal institution in 🇸🇪.
Hm..🤔 this performance from Poland has an advantage because all 4 Abba members participate, but I think that the director in the studio has some omissions [for example, when Agnetha says 'tell me' the camera does not show her from the profile (it is not the job of the actors to turn towards the camera every time which is recording at the specific moment) etc.] The advantage of the performance from the Tv special ABBA dabba doo, 1976 ( Tiger, My love my life, Money money money), is that they had time to edit, to repeat the shots until a good result was achieved - unlike a live recording where there is no opportunity to make a cut, so to try again: that's why I always prefer edited videos I often write in the comments that Abba put maximum effort into every detail - both sound and visual detail (they had a special Abba visual style in their videos, which charmed us again and again - together (of course) with their music) - that's why and they were and remain forever the best in their work (because even though they had enormous talent, they also invested their maximum effort, discipline).. this is not just show business, this is art that remains as a testimony of that time, as what Mozart etc. are witnesses of their time - my comments are always or often criticized by these regular followers, but my words are well-intentioned...😇 I'm just expressing my personal opinion and I try to be constructive🤫 P.S. I get very, very emotional every time I think about this woman And this long comment is because this is my favorite song in general - a long time ago(now I am 44 years old), when I first time watched version of the video for this song from the abba dabba doo, tv show - I knew that I would forever be and remain in love with this version of young Agnetha, my blue angels (I'm a utopian, that's one of my many flaws..)
"What is your favorite song from Abba and why?" its a different question, because ABBA have a lot of greatest songs, some of those are truly masterpiece but my favourite is S.O.S. , because in only 200 seconds have all: a fantastic piano, in the intro, outro and bridge a outstanding emotional voice of Agnetha in her solo verses a powerful chorus and prechorus with Agnetha & Frida a musical contrast between verses and chorus, between melody and lyrics a simple but deep lyric about pain and heartbroken relationship and a bonus with the cover of the own Agnetha as soloist in swedish for her solo album in 1975
First comment here! Hello again,, so nice to see You return in our ABBA Journey I'm so happy to see You with a new reaction to ABBA songs and specialy these that is one of My favourites "My love My life" (1976) in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad although the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken It is a beautiful melody in an almost symphonic tone, like no other ABBA song (until "Ode to Freedom" in their comeback album "Voyage" from 2021) and Agnetha's voice rises to superlative levels very well accompanied with Frida in the choirs but She takes all the leadership and finishes with a powerful record in my opinion it is one of Her best vocal interpretations: S.O.S. I've been waiting for you My love My life Thank you for the music The winner takes it all Slipping through my fingers and now in the Voyage comeback album I added: Don't shut me down to complete "the Seven Wonders of Agnetha in ABBA" and is in My Top20 of all ABBA songs and Her ex husband, the guitarist Björn, said that in this song could see the power registrer of Agnetha voice The video is from a TV Special at Polland in 1976, when ABBA go there to premier the new album "Arrival' ... it's the second song on the TV show previously ABBA descended from some very high stairs singing "Dancing Queen" that's why the applause is heard and Agnetha puts a hand to her ear to try to listen to the next track I think this performance has the strangeness of seeing Björn standing up, without playing his guitar (except for the songs in which he sings). "My love my life" was the last song to be recorded for the album "Arrival" when they had most of the songs ready, they still hadn't assigned any to Agnetha and this absolutely underrated beauty (in my opinion the second best song on the "Arrival" album, just below Dancing Queen) And other curiosly: there's a special unique video of "My love my life" with only Agnetha appears and a lot of years after, a compilation album of Agnetha solo career was tittle "My love my life" See you soon in next videos I wish"You a greatest new week from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South América

This is nice. I never heard it before. Nice to hear a ballad from them.

Hello again,, so nice to see You return in our ABBA Journey
I'm so happy to see You with a new reaction to ABBA songs and specialy these that is one of My favourites
"My love My life" (1976)
in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad
although the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken
It is a beautiful melody in an almost symphonic tone, like no other ABBA song
(until "Ode to Freedom" in their comeback album "Voyage" from 2021)
and Agnetha's voice rises to superlative levels
very well accompanied with Frida in the choirs
but She takes all the leadership and finishes with a powerful record
in my opinion it is one of Her best vocal interpretations:
S.O.S.
I've been waiting for you
My love My life
Thank you for the music
The winner takes it all
Slipping through my fingers
and now in the Voyage comeback album I added:
Don't shut me down
to complete "the Seven Wonders of Agnetha in ABBA"
and is in My Top20 of all ABBA songs
and Her ex husband, the guitarist Björn, said that in this song could see the power registrer of Agnetha voice
The video is from a TV Special at Polland in 1976, when ABBA go there to premier the new album "Arrival' ... it's the second song on the TV show
previously ABBA descended from some very high stairs singing "Dancing Queen"
that's why the applause is heard and Agnetha puts a hand to her ear to try to listen to the next track
I think this performance has the strangeness of seeing Björn standing up, without playing his guitar (except for the songs in which he sings).
"My love my life"
was the last song to be recorded for the album "Arrival"
when they had most of the songs ready, they still hadn't assigned any to Agnetha
and this absolutely underrated beauty
(in my opinion the second best song on the "Arrival" album, just below Dancing Queen)
And other curiosly:
there's a special unique video of
"My love my life"
with only Agnetha appears
and a lot of years after, a compilation album of Agnetha solo career was tittle "My love my life"
See you soon in next videos
I wish"You a greatest new week from
Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
South América
Thanks and much love to you from here in Nigeria 🇳🇬❤
