I have a problem where the pixels keeps lagging in remote play
For some reason my remote play works fine with home wifi, but if i use vpn or data, it gives error that it found the console but couldnt connect. Any fixes or tips?
For me every time I go to remote play it starts doing the rocket animation then it goes to a blank screen and then it says my wifi isn’t good enough
This isn't helpful as I'm not in my house. It was working fine earlier and just stopped now some joke

For those who have black screen while remote play on PC: Check your display options on console and pc/laptop resolution, i had the same problem. On PC screen was resolution 1920 x 1080, when on console was 720p (plugged to old plasma tv), so change to 1080p on your console it will fix black screen or decrease your resolution on PC for 720p.

You should check the remote settings, pretty sure there’s a setting for that

Hey what’s up man? I need help with Xbox remote play. Ever since the new Xbox app update, remote play does not work outside of my home on my 5G cellular data on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. It keeps saying “we found your console but can’t connect” it’s so annoying… it’s not even connecting on another wifi network either. Everything is updated, my console is connected to ethernet and speeds over 300mbps, everything has green check marks for each remote play requirements. What do i do now? Please help! I want to get this to work so bad!

One of my issues are the volume, some games just hear low and most of game have a bad quality running on a good wifi 🥺
I'm not aware of a solution to the issues you're experiencing with the sound but ill look into it. The quality of the games can vary depending on the distance between your device and your Xbox as well as any obstructions. Your wifi's speed, latency, and upstream bandwidth can all impact it as well. I'll try to post a video with more answers.
I did all this already. My issue is I can’t connect to my Series X remote play through mobile data. Wi-Fi on my home network works. My PlayStation works fine with data but not the Xbox. So I’m confused.

Same. I’ve been Googling and I’m finding a lot of people having the same problem, but no solutions. I’ll be getting a new phone in a few weeks, so I’ll see if it’s any different on a new phone and 5G (I’m currently still on 4G), but I’m not optimistic. Like you, I’m able to connect to my PlayStation with no problems.

My issue is that I left it on over night, honest mistake, get back home next day, it’s still on, so I go to turn off remote play. It won’t let me it just kicks me out of the menu. So I try to restart console, and it won’t let me. I try to go back to remote play on my phone and it says unavailable. I just uninstalled Xbox app and am about to reinstall, wish me luck, also if you have a solution notify me

Edit 2: so I reset the Xbox with the Xbox button but now any controller connected to it will not turn on. I tested this by getting a controller hooked up to my phone, turning it on, turning it off, connecting it to my Xbox, and attempting to turn it on, and it flashes twice, and turns off

What does power option mean and does it affect it ?
It shouldn’t. I believe it has something to do with how you want your Xbox to turn on. But nothing should have to be changed in the Xbox settings that will directly affect remote play.
I can't figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong; My controller is hooked up to my PC, all the Remote Play settings are good to go on my XSX, Windows detects the controller and I can use it to navigate around the screen, etc., then I fire up Remote Play on the app, I see the loading screen with the little rocket, *poof* my XSX home screen shows up and - suddenly my controller doesn't work. Nothing, zero input detected at all. I can disconnect remote play and go back to the Desktop and my controller works fine.

I can pair my Xbox controller to my iPhone but it keeps saying connect controller when trying to remote play. Gives the options Bluetooth settings and continue anyways. The settings selection shows I’m paired. The continue anyways does nothing. No response from controller.
Same that happened to me only on iphone not android, kinda weird.. Tested with 4 xsx controller no input on remote play

The yellow can only be changed if you have a wired internet connection and not wireless, i.e a cable running from you internet router to your Xbox.
Idk if you’ll see this but my allow game streaming to other devices just isn’t there

I think it may have something todo with how your console is set up. But I’ll have a look for a solution to solve your issue as well.

Please can I use two controllers if I use remote play?
I think it is possible if you use remote play with the controllers still connected to your Xbox with the co-pilot setting enabled in the Xbox settings. However if you connect the controllers to another device and use remote play, it won’t be possible, you can only play with one controller. Let me know if you need more help as I can post a video for you.

Depending on how strong the network is, it can massively affect your ability to use remote play. So having a decent network will really help.
Yeah this does nothing you're not showing me anything different or you're skipping a huge amount you're going to pages that I cannot find on my Xbox

Same but for me its just joystick and the arrows
For this issue, unpairing/forgetting the Bluetooth connect and then re-pairing fixes this for me
