I just looked up my hero Mike Post, he went to high school in Los Angeles at the famous Ulysses S. Grant school with 1962 graduate and friend Tom Selleck. Countless tv shows, movies and music videos have been filmed there. It’s famous.
That bass player looks like the bass player in a Jimmy Buffet concert I saw or for Phil Collins solo songs in the 1980’s. Kind of a ZZ Top feel to him.
He’s played on thousands of albums, TV show & movie theme songs, and toured with JT, Phil, and currently with Lyle Lovett. A documentary film is now streaming about Lee and his band The Immediate Family.
Wasn't the late Robert Culp in that tv series? I never watched it but I do sometimes watch the old I Spy tv series. I think these guys came up with one of my shows all time The Rockford Files theme music.
@@wendyc7730 That American Hero ran early 80's for three years. I was busy working and sports in that decade. I remember watching A-Team and Magnum PI and a movie here and there. But looking back there's some great TV back then. I've been watching Charles Bronson movies on Prime.
@@richardgrier8968 Some of the I Spy episodes were lame and some were real good. Very unique where filmed in many countries. I don't know about Cosby if he really was guilty but an actress I use to speak with a lot use to play tennis with him at Hefners in doubles in the 70's and had nothing good to say about him. She said she believed he committed those offenses. She said he was mean.
@@rem1762 I'm inclined to believe her. I was a huge fan of Cosby when I was a kid. I had 2 of his comedy albums and memorized his bits. I even performed some of his stuff at Boy Scout's camp one summer. This was long before the Huxtables. It was a huge shock and disappointment when the truth came out. It's hard to imagine that he wasn't guilty.
Great behind the scenes footage! Thank you for the fantastic song and sharing this video!!!!
Maybe one of the greatest sessions band of all time. That’s why that song stuck around all this time. It is an awesome theme song.
This is so awesome. Loved and still love this song
Great tune

That's Lee Sklar. He's quite active here on UA-cam under @lelandsklar6363 (or Leland Sklar).
Yeah, Leland Sklar
He also has his own You Tube channel
@@kenrehorhe’s made a good living playing bass, a trusted addition to any band

Yes, that's Robert Culp.
Great actor. He was in The Greatest American Hero with William Katt and Connie Sellaca

I loved I Spy and watched it as a kid. Too bad about Culp's co-star, though.

My fave Lost 45...wasn't William Katt the star?
Correct! Also starred Connie Sellecca.
@@mikepostcomposer Do you remember who played guitar on The Rockford Files theme?
@@mikepostcomposer Katt had a great turn in "Carrie"
Believe it or not George isn't at home.
