It's kinda sad that the Stories games are underappreciated by most,due to the fact they're only avalaible for PSP and PS2 (at their release I mean,now they can be played in PS3,PS4,PS5) They explain everything I was curious about in Vice City and GTA 3 and they're more advanced gameplay wise. I think Rockstar wanted to prevent piracy by not releasing them on PC but in my opinion because of it,they didn't get the recognition they deserved,and they're still pretty hard to obtain.

Kinda sad, Fort Staunton Little Italy was one of the best neighbourhoods. It even had restaurant called Clamlapras based on IRL Umberto's Clam House in Little Italy, where notorious mobster Joey Gallo was gunned down.
For real Fort Staunton was beautiful they had an opera house a museum that restaurant and of course a lot of apartments where innocent people lived this was so dark I wonder what it would look like after the GTA 3 construction ended.
I love the fact that Toni, out of all GTA Protagonists, has caused more property damage by destroying a whole goddamn city block which probably costs a few hundred million or even a billion. Meanwhile the rest only probably destroyed about a hundred thousand or a million worth of property damage. This is a reason why I think Toni is very underrated.
Bringing the House Down was the "darkest mission" I was referring to. Imagine being an innocent civilian and being caught in the destruction of the neighborhood. Also, I appreciate the mini-tour of destroyed Fort Staunton after the mission.

The Playstation version was very limited in regards to features, and among them, the Playstation doesn't have regular buses (which exist and are functional in the PC version). The Playstation version, therefore, had to use the Karma Bus (the Hare Krishnas' gang car) as it was the most similar thing, and thus changed the mission to bring Hare Krishnas instead of civilians. TLDR: It wasn't because it was too dark.
I always wondered how The Forellis found out about Donald's plan?Anyways, when I saw the cutscene of the explosion, I was literally terrified. And the thing is, Donald says he wants to clear a small section of land, but he just has the whole of Fort Staunton blown up. It was the biggest massacre in GTA history.
The only thing close to this kind of destruction was the explosion of the pipeline in GTA Vice City Stories,when Vic and Lance escaped from Mendez brothers' goons the whole thing went to the sky,actually affecting the gas prices and making them skyrocket. It wasn't a neighborhood like Toni's mission but it affected the entire city,but didn't probably kill anyone other than these goons. Keep up the great work Professional!

Bringing The House Down One of my favorite missions of all time this mission stands out than any other mission in the series why? because this is the first Mission where we blow up a portion of the map. I think Rockstar games should think about bringing this style of mission back because the attention to detail of this mission is phenomenal

If you talk about the bodycount then Toni Cipriani will be first because he literally destroyed the whole of fort Staunton district. The second will be CJ because he killed lot of people in 4 cities. Niko and Trevor are also have high bodycount but they're not very deadly as CJ and Toni. Both of them don't killed a lot of people in many states / cities nor destroyed the whole of district.
Thanks for giving a full in depth look on the aftermath of the explosion, I've never checked on to watch it deeply and I didn't know their was national guards patrolling the area.

Worst part about the mission Bringing the House Down is that you make a net loss of $15,000. You put a down payment of $20,000 for the hardware just to get awarded $5,000 in the end. Even when you save Donald in the next mission, he promises to "make it worth your while" but only pays $6,000. Still at a $9,000 loss. Jeez Donald. What a way to "reimburse" Toni.
I played this game like 14 maybe 13 years ago, it was a memorable game. This mission was insane and Fort Staunton is being rebuilt 3 years later, so Donald probably became wealthy by the end. I've been thinking something a route they could take GTA is being doing the remake treatment, remake the old games with new mechanics and revamp the cities AGAIN.

If you beat the game in 100%, there's a Rhino tank will spawn somewhere next to a national guard.

The mission where you blow up Fort Staunton will always be my favourite mission in GTA
That armor pickup at the Cartel mansion is also there in GTA III
They say Tommy is the most evil character, I'm sorry but I don't recall Tommy causing an explosion that killed hundreds of innocents
But he did cause an explosion with many construction workers in it
But still not evil
