- Lions quarterback Jared Goff sat down exclusively with Dan Miller on Monday to break down the Lions big win over the Rams, the amazing crowd at Ford Field, and looking ahead to the divisional round.

Jared and I played at rival high schools back in the day. We haven’t spoken in years but he’s always been a great dude and to see him playing like this makes me happy. Congrats Goff, the Bay is proud of you 👏

Crowd chanting JG's name like that is something I will never forget. The media tried to make everything about Stafford, but the fans knew what was up. They lifted bro up and had his back when he needed it and he came out and fucking delivered. What a great week

I’m a lifelong Rams fan who’s cheering for the Lions to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Detroit. It’s your turn! I’ll never forget how Lions fans cheered for Stafford and the Rams to win Super Bowl 56. Since then, I always cheer for the Lions and I’m really happy for Jared, who’s a standup guy and a great QB. Go Lions!

As a Rams fan I did rate Goff and I was sad that ultimately the relationship between him and McVay deteriorated. But Stafford is an excellent QB, no question. In retrospect the Goff-Stafford trade was a great one for both teams. Not often that happens.
I agree with you, l liked Goff, and was sad to see him go, but it seemed when he got his big contract, he regressed, When front office discussed a re- structure to get and keep other players, he declined.
You earned that crowd support. How well informed the Detroit fans are. Go all the way. This position doesn't happen every year.

I was a Ram's fan since the 70's, but when McVay did Goff dirty, I started following the Lions. So good to see the Detroit fanbase embrace JG, and watching Goff get his vindication was super satisfying. Shout out to Josh Reynolds as well, he balled out in the first half against his old team as well!
Glad you went to the other side. Reynolds’s didn’t ball as good as Puka and Stafford still out threw Goff in the game, but you keeping rooting for your lions and Goff.

Goff is EXACTLY what this team needed and represents. A whole city of downtrodden, forgotten, and left on their own people who roll up their sleeves stop whining, do the work and get it done. He's rebuilding himself and the team in unison. Campbell is providing great leader mentorship. For the first time in my life, this team is REAL.

As a long long time Rams fan, I always appreciated Jared Goff's talent while he was in L.A. When he left for Detroit I continued watch their games when I could and hoped for his success. This loss stung,.. but I'm happy for Jared. I'm rooting for Goff and the Lions to go take it all.
My younger brother sent me to that game. I am a big fan even when DET went 0-16, i continued to look forward watching them and always been optimistic. It was our legacy that i go and experience our first playoff win.
I appreciate Stafford and maybe with this particular staff he might have done the same thing but this is is a new era and Goff is the guy fir this. Perhaps his journey made the win possible.

Whoever mixed the audio on this, leave it in mono. You can hear the pan sliding, especially when Goff answers quickly, and ultimately, most are listening on their phone anyway.

@@ChristianApolinariohonestly I can see why you are saying that but Kirby Joseph didn’t mean to injure him. You have to go low or it’s a penalty for hitting a defenseless receiver going high. The Stafford hit could have gone either way because Aiden’s was more of a push but Staffords momentum put him into the chest/shoulder of mcneill. More of a wrong place wrong time scenario. Lions had that dog in them. It’s playoff football. It’s a dangerous game being played at the highest level. No one is trying to hurt anyone on purpose but they are laying the wood.

Being in that stadium and chanting for Jared just gave me chills. Ever since the Lions picked up Josh Reynolds, Goff has really shown he has the chops to be a top QB in the NFL. Reynolds was that spark because they worked together before and work so well together now. That's the moment I realized we got a good one and might have gotten a great one. But everyone comes around at different times, it just happens. Those chants for Goff really, to me, was us saying as a city there's no more doubt left. We believe and you're OUR guy. Yeah, that first year, you saw more Stafford Rams jerseys than Goff jerseys in the stadium. We pulled for him in the Super Bowl. It takes a while to get over the old flame. Two years later, Jared, you've made converts of us all.

This guy throws one of the prettiest spirals and pin point accurate passes in the league. He's hit a level of maturation in Detroit that could make him a Hall of Famer if he keeps on growing even more.

I was born and raised a Rams fan and man I am so happy for the lions and Jared. My grandpa who died last year was a die hard lions fan so I have always had these 2 teams I rooted for every year. This night was so cool. I was there the whole weekend in Detroit and met people from Albany New York, California and Colorado. I was like what really . Wow thank you JG and to the Lions worth every penny spent.

This has got to be rewarding for him and hopefully the Lions keep getting better and better. On the one hand there was a perceived lesser value to Goff, but those additional draft picks really helped transform Detroit from a losing culture to where they are now. This really is Goff's team and it's awesome to see someone with the ability and humility to appreciate what he's a part of. I'm a Bills fan, but barring Buffalo winning, it's Lions all the way for me this year.

As a rams fan, I don’t. He choked and panicked in the Super Bowl and looked scared to death. He over threw passes and acted like he just didn’t care. He ran an offense that barely mustered 3 points and he ALWAYS takes too long to snap the ball. He performed in the SB like he did in the 2nd half of the Rams game.
