Sounds like it would be nice fit in a jazz setting (not talking big band jazz regrettably). I can see this cymbal accompanying a ghastly fast piano solo hit nice and low in volume.
It’s a nice sounding ride but you’re right about it losing stick definition a bit. Neither fish nor fowl as you might say but still nice and looks beautiful. Bell too small. A great second ride to have in a set up perhaps. Have you tried any flat rides? They always intrigue me. Worth investing in if you were doing more jazz in small venues I guess. Nice vid as usual.

Thanks for your comments! I’ve had a couple of flat rides over the years, the only one I kept was a blue label 18” Paiste 602. Beautiful cymbal!
