Hi from Hertfordshire, UK. It's always nice to see different cultures around the world. The Irish are particularly cozy because of their traditions that stem from the rural landscape. I would bow my hat the day when all cultures came together to appreciate each other rather than distancing themselves because of their differences. Sadly we probably won't see a complete utopian world in our lifetime. Hopefully there will be something better waiting for us in the afterlife.

Hm I don't have a specific book or anything that comes to mind, I often just search online or on UA-cam (and I learnt a lot of these songs in school). However there is a channel on here called The Jolly Reiver who is great, he makes a lot of videos about North Eastern folklore.

I’m 51 and it’s been a dream of mine since I was a little girl even before 10 years old, that I knew I belonged in Ireland. I love your channel so much. It brings me such joy and peace.
My dream will soon come true within the next decade, as I will be making the long awaited journey to beautiful Ireland. I am a mama to 5 amazing kiddos, and that is why I wasn’t able to go sooner. Been a mommy since I was 18.
It’s a lot to get ready and done beforehand though, but will be so worth it in the end!
Follow your dreams. If you really want something bad, make it happen! Everyone has the power to do that.

My mom passed away 12 years ago, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. Seeing you spending time with your mom and enjoying yourself brings a smile to my face! Thank you for sharing such special moments with us and for sharing that lovely lullaby that your mom used to sing to you. You have a lovely voice, and you looked like you were having so much fun! I love your videos. Thank you for sharing. 💜 I'm an odd American who feels closer to European traditions (3 of my great grandparents were immigrants) and the US culture sometimes feels alien to me. It's hard to explain, perhaps others who are immigrants or descend from culturally recent immigrants can understand me. I still feel close to my European heritages but being born in US from recent immigrations. Your channel helps me feel connected and not so alone. I don't know if this makes sense but just know I'm grateful for your videos 💚

I have a full time job as a marketing manager, it was my week off spending time with my family. My mam worked hard her whole life to retire here. Don’t be bitter!
