I just turned to this video first time to this channel.. u got me on the intro … old guy here ( me) that found a kindred spirit ( as my girls would say). Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
I got one for my Son from a Knife show, it came with its own Carbide sharpener. It has the Philips screwdriver and on the package it said Tinker on it lol . I know others call it another name. I thought it was perfect for a 10 year old. Great video Mr George !!!!!
I feel the same way George when I look at a catalog of SAK's. Neat modification to your knife. The sheath with your color selection turned out very nice. Thank you for sharing, take care.
Case makes a series of slip joint knives called Magician’s Knives. Some are Red and Green Bone. I like you used both Red and Blue for the sheath. I believe your knife is a Field Master I think. The model with the corkscrew is a Huntsman.👍
That really turned out great! I’m glad that the red and blue were on the right opposing sides. That way the toothpick and tweezers were opposite in color. It looks really cool that way.👍😊
Neat sheath, I feel it came out very well. Merry is just making sure that you are not fooling around when your suppose to be working. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.
You can never turn back. The SAK hole is deep and wide with slippery sides. I'm a lifelong SAK guy. Without looking, the Super Tinker has a round Phillips as well. You may have the big and little brothers. The sheath is psychedelic and far out....cool man.
Wow George good job on the customizing, the sheath is my favorite! I love the color scheme on it. I just got my hiker a couple of days ago and I am going to customize mine as well, might have to take pictures to show you how it comes out! Oh and yes I believe it's a fieldmaster which matches you, because you are a fieldmaster lol!
George, your confusion reminds me of the farmer who had trouble telling his two horses apart. He went and purchased a red halter and a blue halter. When he got home he put the red halter on the white horse and the blue halter on the black horse. My suggustion for name: Ameri - for the country you live in. Rog/Iowa
@@2ndchancegeorge If you want to really go down the rabbit hole...have a look at Felix Immlers videos. He is a vVctorinox ambassador-the Victorinox ambassador. Mostly he makes videos in German with a Swiss accent-but he make english ones with a Swiss accent, too ;-)
@@2ndchancegeorge Oh boy...you are doomed..doomed to have excellent knifes ;-) I am curious when you will ooen up the additional slot on the scales ;-) People even have opened a hex socket in the biggest SAK (ranger Grip-see Felix immer) knifes ;-)
Great video George, I do believe you have a Victorinox that is truly yours, and I like what you did with the sheath! Always wanted a SAK, just was never in the budget. I always made do with the Boy Scout Knife or the USGI version of the same. A few years ago I decided to treat myself. I was going to buy myself the Victorinox version of what I always used, I think it was called the Pioneer. I discovered the Farmer X Alox at that time. It added a saw blade and a scissors. Think it cost me about $20 more than the Pioneer. Best $20 I ever spent. Seems that I always have an Opinel in my pocket, but the Farmer X Alox lives in my possibles bag. Never far away. As to the name of your knife? I have no idea, not that up on them. I think it might be “ insert name here” though!
Lol. Have it in my grubby right now. The post office did not let me know I haveca package, I just happened to stop by. Git it many thanx. ...I am sure that means a video to confirm you did send it...lol. be safe my friend
George another great video. I have carried the same Victorinòx climber for over ten years. I got new parts to customize it and your video popped up on my feed. Ironic.
😊 👍💪
The Red 'n Blue is the Fieldmaster (phillips screw driver).
The other is the Huntsman (cork screw).
Ahh gotcha. Thankyou as always
Way I always remember it is field masters always sober and aware while the huntsman is drunk lol
@@ElGranRojo903 Or the Fieldmaster screws around and the Huntsman gets corked!
@@doogsm6013 yes lmao that’s a good one

So, the one with the corkscrew is the "Huntsman". The other one I think is the "Fieldmaster"
Yep. Thankyou. Appreciate the support
You can put a thin peice of foam in the bottom of the sheath it will bring the knife to the top of the sheath nice job on the project
Good idea. Thanks for watching always appreciated
The first one you showed us is the Super Tinker. Scissors on front and Phillips and hook on back.
Ok. Very cool. Thankyou much appreciated. Be safe out there
I’m not a wino my SAK has a cork screw lol 👍 thanks George nice sheath .
Lol..I hear you.
Corkscrew with saw and scissors = Huntsman. (most popular SAK). Phillips with saw and scissors = Fieldmaster. Enjoy your red/blue Fieldmaster.
Lol...thankyou appreciate the support
I have one, tinker i think, with screwdriver that is 84 that i carry. I have a 91 too & one with more tools i keep in truck. Have a great day
Lol...hard to get away from. They are very nice
Aw man i'd get you out ofthe rabbit hole dut im in it right behind you
Lol...oh the horror we be in trouble 😆 🤣
@@2ndchancegeorge maybe we can dig ourselves out if we just buy another one 😂
@nobodxy lol...good plan
The Ranger is best for me. Better is corkscrew was replaced by Phillips. Love my Farmer X Alox, carry that one everywhere.
I got to look at thr farmer...seems popular.thanks for watching always appreciated
I agree because the one with the Phillips screwdriver will get more use unless you’re a wino’ but you’re a a Coffeo’ not a wino’

Screwdriver = Fieldmaster Corkscrew = Huntsman
Thankyou. I m old cannot figure them out ...lol. be safe
